Items on my Navigation Bar on iStore

How can I enable other items on my navigation bar on iStore?
I only have the AppStore, Podcast, and iTunes U.
Help, anyone?

Sorry, but you can't. Those are the only categories that are available in your country. The iTunes Store for your country has not yet been licensed to sell any media content. You can only purchase iPhone/iPod touch applications and download podcasts and educational material. When, or indeed if, Apple will be able to negotiate appropriate licenses to sell music, videos or movies, no one here knows or can say.

  • How can I delete an item from my navigation bar?

    I have an item in my navigation bar that goes to an error page instead of where it is supposed to go. How can I delete it?

    See:
    * [[Clearing Location bar history]]
    * [[Cannot clear Location bar history
    Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.<br />
    You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />
    This will open the "Edit This Bookmark" dialog and you can click the Remove button to remove the bookmark if you want to remove such a bookmarked entry.<br />

  • Add item to navigation bar

    Anyone know how to add a link of their own in the Navigation bar?
    For Example...say I have an old website (outside of iWeb) that I want visitors to have easy access to. Thus putting it in the Navigation bar.
    Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    You can't actually add an item to iWeb's own Navigation list, but as a workaround you could use a text box, match font style and align this with iWeb's navigation items, and then enable this text as a hyperlink to your old website. I've done this here to illustrate how it could look.
    Caveat: the hyperlinked item will be in the link style dictated by the template's CSS, and not necessarily the same as the items in the Navigation bar.

  • Display text in navigation bar when user is logged in

    Hi all,
    I'm (still ) on Apex 4.2.6.
    Currently, I have in my page templates, the following snippet:
          <div class="logoBar">
              <img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_125/images/logo_.png" />
              <h1><a href="#HOME_LINK#" id="uLogo">#LOGO#</a></h1>
            <div class="userBlock">
              <span>Username: &APP_USER.</span>
              #NAVIGATION_BAR#
            </div>
          </div>
    I have the requirement to display both the username (APP_USER) and the company the user works for (Application item AI_COMPANY), only when the user is logged in. When the user isn't logged in; instead of those items, I have to show a login link. Well, I know how to only show a link to the login page, when the user isn't authenticated, using the navigation bar. Currently, when a user isn't authenticated; the page shows: Username: nobody. That's because it is in my page template. How can I only show the username when the user is logged in? And show the company name only then?
    My first thought was to add an item in the navigation bar. But those items shows up as links. Is there a way to add a navigation bar item, and let it display as text? Sure, I could write a dynamic action on page 0 to remove the link, but I'm searching for a nicer/better sollution.
    I apreciate your help!

    Hi tomvdduin,
    you can show company name which is already in your Application item(AI_COMPANY)  by modifying the page template mentioned above.
    <div class="logoBar">
      <img src="#IMAGE_PREFIX#themes/theme_125/images/logo_.png" />
        <h1><a href="#HOME_LINK#" id="uLogo">#LOGO#</a></h1>
      <div class="userBlock">
        <span>Username: &APP_USER.(&AI_COMPANY.)</span>
        #NAVIGATION_BAR#
      </div>
    </div>
    I have included company inside ( ), you can change how you want to show.
    for example
    <span>Username: &APP_USER.</span><span>Company: &APP_COMPANY.</span>
    Hope this helps you,
    Regards,

  • Navigation bar moved

    Hi,
    i have a web site created with Iweb. I have a header and then the navigation bar.
    Somehow I did somethign that the navigation bar is on top of the page and the header is under the navigation bar. It only happend on my home page and I can't seem to move the navigation bar lower so the header is on top.
    any advice would be appreciated.

    Did you put/move something, eg a textbox into the header, thus displacing the navigation bar? Try turning on 'show layout' to see if there is anything transparent lying about.
    If you cannot sort it, try making the page again, copying all the major elements over, except any of those items near the navigation bar. With items near the navigation bar, copy them one by one until the page is how you want.
    BTW, a url would help us to see what the problem is.

  • Changing hight of navigation bar

    I am new to dreamweaver.  I have created an unordered list navigation bar that sits in an absolute-position div.  I had set the div  with at 770 pix and the height for a hundred pix.  I then created an <u>l pressing return on my mac between each list item.  I then used the <li> in the tag selector to creat an css rule making the list float left.
    My problem:  I would like to reduce the height of the div to just accomodating the list items.  I changed the div height in the property inspector to 0px.  But the actual visage image of the div does not change.  There is too much space within the div, above and below the list items of the navigation bar and I can't seem to adjust it.  How can this be done?  Is it to do with the div box set up?
    I have already removed "padding" from the top and bottom as well as "white space" of the navigation div.
    Help.....
    Dulce

    A link to your page is what is needed to get any positive and meaningful response.
    Good luck.

  • UiXML - table navigation bar problem

    I'm using a <table> element and am databinding the blockSize, maxValue and value attributes to values returned in a DataObject from a method DataProvider. The tableData attribute is bound to a PagedDataObjectList returned in the same DataObject. So far so good and this all looks fine on first render. My problem happens when I start paging. I have 18 items to display and a blockSize of 5. The navigationBar renders fine until I get to the last page on which there are only 3 items. The navigation bar says 'Previous 3' instead of 'Previous 5'. When clicked, the previous five items are displayed. Is this a known bug?
    Thanks
    Ian

    Hi Arjuna
    We don't want to hardcode the blockSize as this will be a user preference setting. This functionality works in 9.0.2 and Chapter 10 (Tables) of the Developer's Guide gives an example of doing exactly this data-binding - and it does say elsewhere that every attribute can be databound. I notice that some changes have been made to the rendering of the navigationBar in UIX 2.1 - could this have introduced a bug?
    Incidentally when you do hard code the blockSize and the tableData has not been populated ('(No search conducted)' as per the BLAF standard) the 'next' link of the navigationBar is not disabled.
    Thanks

  • Navigation bar stopped working

    I was using Apache and installed IIS after that some of my
    buttons stopped working. When I copy the website to my laptop, it
    still works fine. What's going on? Please help!!!!

    The navigation bar certainly works, but it is very fussy about the precise positioning of the cursor, which I find needs to be slightly higher than expected in order to activate the links. (Notice the difference between these and the email hyperlink down the page.) The outline of the top image on your Welcome displays while it loads, I noticed that its top edge coincides with the centre of the navigation bar, and I suspect this is what's causing the problem. Repositioning this so as not to impinge on the navigation bar would definitely improve the situation.
    Similar behaviour is apparent on the Photos and Words pages (in the case of the latter, only the first four items on the navigation bar are affected, the ones which coincide with the image of the Penn Valley Directory). Take a look at your image positioning in iWeb. Turn on Show Layout. That often gives an immediate visual answer to problems such as this. As a general rule of thumb, it's advisable not to overlap the navigation bar with any other items.

  • Is there a way to add an extra navigation bar to firefox?

    I was just wondering if there was a way (either through firefox or through an add-on) that I can add an extra navigation bar to my browser. Having a drop-down menu at the end of the navigation bar with a long list of bookmarks kinda defeats the purpose of having a navigation bar to begin with for me. This is obviously just a matter of convenience but as I am not short on screen space.... has anyone been able to do this? Thanks!

    Tried that but there were no extra "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" item like the navigation bar has to drop into it to make it a navigation bar. Only works as empty space that cannot hold links without that. Is there a way to replicate the "Bookmarks Toolbar Items" item to put into a new toolbar or any other way to make a new navigation bar?

  • Navigation Bar, Theme 3 & FireFox

    I am having trouble getting Firefox to properly format more than one navigation item within the navigational bar.
    http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=18490:2
    It shows up properly formatted in IE and Opera but not Firefox. Can anyone help or have any idea why this is happening??
    When I used the web developer toolbar to outline the tables this is what it shows:
    http://i14.tinypic.com/2m6x10n.jpg (you may need to scroll to the right)
    It acts like it does not recognize the second element.
    workspace: epic
    user info:guest/guest

    Hi Justin,
    From what I can see, the table that the navigation bar is in is poorly constructed. Firefox handles it properly according to the attributes of 3 TD tags within the table.
    The first TD, which is set to contain a logo, is empty. The second TD is set to 100% width of the table (which is, itself, set to 100% of screen width). The third TD contains the navigation items. It's the second TD that's causing the problem. If you edit your template, change it from "100%" to just "100px". As the table is set as 100%, the final TD will then fit correctly onto the screen.

  • Modify navigation bar on the Style

    Is it possible to remove unused items on the navigation bar (such as "favorites" and "downloads") on the Style?

    No, it's not.  That's part of the core system and can't be modified through your phone alone.  However, you could look around AppWorld for a theme that would do away with that setup; I know they exist.
    I hope that sheds some light on the situation for you.

  • Master navigation bar

    I have a website with 100 pages. The web site was designed by a consultant sometimes ago with Adobe Muse. The problem that I am having is usability for the navigation bar. Each time I want to add an item in the navigation bar, I have to do it 100 times. Is there a way to create a master navigation bar so that the update process will be less painful? If not any ideas how I can use any technology out there to make my life easier because I don't believe in this century that I have to manually update my website 100 times.
    I thought that css can do the trick. But the consultant told me that css has some limitation and it cannot be done with Muse.
    Thanks

    The master navigation bar I assume is your sites main menu navigation.
    This menu item can be placed on the master page, which would then appear on all your other pages.
    So if you do a graphical change to the menu bar the changes will be updated throughout your site.
    Without seeing the site it's hard to picture what you are after...
    Hope this helps

  • Why do all the unused icons appear in a box on the navigation bar after I download a file?

    Since the last Firefox upgrade last week a large box of all the unused icons appears on the navigation bar after I download a file. If I click on this box, the previous download information appears. The icons in the box aren't useable. This box doesn't appear when I first open Firefox. The box is so big it crowds out the other items in the navigation bar. Any ideas?

    This issue is caused by a broken extension that isn't working properly and that doesn't support the current Firefox release.
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

  • Rollover images on navigational bar items

    Has anyone implemented rollover images on navigational bar items to change colors of the images when passed over and out? I already have the images.
    From what I can determine, I believe I need an onMouseOver and onMouseOut event defined in my navigational bar entry template that references a javascript function. Then I think I also need two javascript functions defined in the header portion of my page template to get the new image source.
    If you have done this could you post the following:
    1 - navigational bar entry template, and
    2 - the two javascript functions used
    My navigational bar entry template currently looks like this:
    <td>
    #TEXT#<img src="#IMAGE#" />
    #TEXT#</td>
    Thanks alot, Andy
