Items that need to be downloaded apear to go into a Mozilla Download File. How can I access that file without having to download?

Clarification: I notice that items I have recently downloaded remain in what appears in the screen header as a file titled "Downloads" with the Firefox logo in front of it -- I assume this is a file Mozilla creates. I can't find it when I look for it. I only get to see this "file" and its contents when I need to download something to read or view. If I could find this "file", I wouldn't have to download, again, something I just downloaded yesterday for a reference check, and then need to check again today. Please excuse my sometimes lack of computer savvy.

You can right-click an item in the Download Manager widow and choose "Open Containing Folder" to go to the download location of that file.

You need an English language version and there is no en-US language pack in Firefox 3.6. If you do not want the download the en-US version then you can install the en-GB language and switch to that version and remove the Spanish es-ES language pack from the chrome folder in the Firefox program folder.

You can install language pack just like extensions. 
You can set the pref "general.useragent.locale" to the preferred language ("en-GB") on the about:config page. 
You can open the about:config page via the location bar, like you open a web site. 
Use the Filter bar at the top of that page to quickly locate the pref.

I submitted my information into the 'uptodate' program to download Lion OSX and it verified that I was able to get the upgrade but then nothing happened. How can I get the upgrade without having to pay for it?

When I tried to go back through and do it again, it gives me and error that says that my serial number has already been registered to the uptodate program and it wont allow me to continue any further. Is there a place I can go in my computer to find it and start the download? I got all the way to the point where I submitted my purchase (for free) and then as soon as I did that, nothing started...

Is this for a new MacBook Pro? If you are entitled to a free upgrade, but are having trouble with the Mac App Store and can't download Lion, call Applecare and explain the situation and see if they can help you. It's always possible that the Mac App Store has been extra busy lately and for some reason may not have processed your request properly.
First, though, check in your applications folder to be sure that the installer isn't already there. It's called "Install Mac OS X LIon.app". Step one is to download the installer. Step two is to run it. It will vanish from your Application folder after it runs, so if you want to make a copy of the installer, make one before you run it.

ITunes is saying that the only way to get back all seven of my audiobooks are to repurchase them, however that is going to be about a hundred dollars to repurchase them all and I don't have that kind of money right now. Why are they making me do this and why the **** did they delete them in the first place, because I know I didn't delete them. I still don't know if the drive that crashed was the external drive, or if it was the internal drive, and if it was the external drive if that was the only copy of the library.

I was fooling around with Lightroom and it has a tethering option. I tried it and it worked. But I am still reading my camera manual as you recommeded.

Start by closing all apps and resetting your iPad and see if that helps with any of your issues.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it. Close all of the apps on the iPad this way.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

I ended up having to open another account but how can I access that account to retrieve my other songs? I realize I can't transfer between accounts but maybe at least burn to CD?

You can reset your Apple ID password via the steps in the first article below. I would try the option to answer your security questions. If those steps do not work then you may need to reach out to our account security team to reset this old Apple ID password. Once this is done you should be able to access your old DRM protected purchases.

Delete the problem song(s) from library including file(s). Then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Select Music tab to re-download again for free.

Ultiboard file takes up to 5 minutes to open or save a file. how can I solve that?

Hi, recently I modified a previous design created using ultiboard 10.0. Since that day, every time I save or load the file it takes 5 minutes or more to finish the required action. It's really annoying to wait that long in the middle of work for the user interface to become usable again. It didnt happen before. I tried to select all and copy in a new file as Nestor suggested in a previous post, but after I selected all and pressed the copy button, the application hangs.. how can I restore the file? or al least reduce the time needed to save or load. TS2986 I keep getting the message that my HD is full, when I run the disk utility it appears that over 400 GB are in the "Other" section, how can I access that area to clean up?

Please help me to figure out how to clean up my HD. When I run the disk utility I get the following view:
As you can se 467.79 GB are in the "Other" section, but I cannot find a way to get to that and clean it up, please anyone out there How can I clean that up?

First, empty the Trash if you haven't already done so. Then reboot. That will temporarily free up some space. According to Apple documentation, you need at least 9 GB free for normal operation. You also need enough space left over to allow for growth of your data. Use a tool such as OmniDiskSweeper to explore your volume and find out what's taking up the space. Proceed further only if the problem hasn't been solved. ODS can't see the whole filesystem when you run it just by double-clicking; it only sees files that you have permission to read. To really see everything, you have to run it as root. Back up all data now if you haven't already done so. No matter what happens, you should be able to restore your system to the state it was in at the time of that backup. Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways: ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.) ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens. ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens. After installing ODS in the Applications folder, drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:sudo /Applications/OmniDiskSweeper.app/Contents/MacOS/OmniDiskSweeper
You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up.
I don't recommend that you make a habit of this. Don't delete anything while running ODS as root. When you're done with it, quit it and also quit Terminal.
