Iterator Error

Hi Experts,
Now Im working with Table Iterator. For that Im following Web blog wrote by Brain,
/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2003/10/31/bsp-programming-htmlb-tableview-iterator
In the Web log, I have the doubt when creating Drop down list Box.
I wrote the following code from the blog,
WHEN 'CURRENCY'.
       IF p_edit_mode IS NOT INITIAL.
        p_replacement_bee = CL_HTMLB_DROPDOWNLISTBOX=>FACTORY(
                           id                = p_cell_id
                           selection         = m_row_ref->CURRENCY
                           table             = me->m_currencies_ref
                            nameOfKeyColumn   = 'NAME'
                            nameOfValueColumn = 'VALUE' ).
       ENDIF.
But it shows the following Error,
<b>Class ZCL_BCM_SDN_ITERATO1,Method IF_HTMLB_TABLEVIEW_ITERATOR~RENDER_CELL_START     41     @0A\QError@
Field "M_CURRENCIES_REF" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement . . . . . . . . . .     </b>
Please any one help on this issue. I couldn't rectify this Error,
Thanks in Advance,
Points will be rewarded for all helpful answers.

As per the blog, it should be as follows:
In the iterator class create the attribute:
M_CURRENCIES_REF type ref to DATA
<b>To Fill the M_CURRENCIES_REF:</b>
IF_HTMLB_TABLEVIEW_ITERATOR~GET_COLUMN_DEFINITIONS.
  FIELD-SYMBOLS: <currency> TYPE IHTTPNVP.
  CLEAR me->m_currencies.
  APPEND INITIAL LINE TO me->m_currencies ASSIGNING <currency>.
  <currency>-NAME = 'USD'. <currency>-value = 'US Dollar'.
  APPEND INITIAL LINE TO me->m_currencies ASSIGNING <currency>.
  <currency>-NAME = 'EUR'. <currency>-value = 'Euro'.
  APPEND INITIAL LINE TO me->m_currencies ASSIGNING <currency>.
  <currency>-NAME = 'ZAR'. <currency>-value = 'SA Rand'.
  GET REFERENCE OF me->m_currencies INTO me->m_currencies_ref.
Hope this will solve your problem.

    According to your description, you mean that when you run your load test using the Test Iterations way and then get the error message, am I right?
    If yes, please you try to close the VS, and then open this VS again. Then clean your load test project/solution and then re-build it, run your load test again check this issue again.
    In addition, I suggest you could try to create a new load test and then run it using Test Iterations way check if you get the issue for the specified load test or all load tests.
    If possible, I suggest you could share me simple load test for us so that we will further help you.
    You could upload your load test to OneDrive and then copy link here.

  • Suspend 20 Iterations Error in Soap Assess Response (ODS)

    OPA Experts,
    I'm trying to replace the default error message you receive when the inferencing cycle has errored-out after 20 iterations. I'm restricted to using ODS and none of the features of OWD. Using Java framework.
    I've encountered this several times before and was able to stop via error() in the rules, but for this particular instance (see below), I can throw the error and view both this and the 20 iterations message in OPM (20 iterations in red box at top of OPM interface and custom error message in output window), but the soap assess response presents the 20 iterations (ThinkException) message and nothing else.
    "This particular instance" means an illegal attribute value and relationship population in the same entity. E.g. TaxReturn entity --> <attribute>tax_filing_status = "Single" and <relationship>tax_filing_spouse populated. A person filing a tax return can only have a tax_filing_spouse populated when they have a tax_filing_status of "Married Filing Jointly".
    What I've tried so far:
    Catching and throwing the error via rules
    OnReturnResultEvent
    InferencingListener
    SoapServerException
    ThinkException override (which isn't really possible but I thought I'd try anyway )
    OnBeforeThinkEvent
    The request, in all of the above cases, only touches my empty constructors and none of my methods.
    Here's one example (among many) of my log4j log (edited for space and readability purposes):

    None of the inferencing responses in any of my logs present "tax_filing_spouse" relationship...so I must assume it's getting hung up on this. If I change the tax filing status in the request, I get the correct assess response with 0 errors. I tried getDecisionReport() of InferencingEvent to verify, but as mentioned above, only my constructors are being touched and none of my methods.
    Now, I could be approaching this incorrectly in my Java code, or there could be a way to catch and suspend this in the rules, but I've extended the capacity of my efforts and am about ready to throw my laptop out of the window. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I really need it!!!!
    v/r
    Mike

    Hi Mike,
    I'm not really sure what you want to achieve, this error message means that your assessment results are invalid and none of the conclusions can be relied upon so you really need to fix the rules themselves. This error can be caused by a loop in the rule logic as well as a a problem with an inferrencing listener (as suggested in the error message). You can check for rule loops in OPM and / or use visual inspection as you know which attribute / value triggers the problem.
    If you could share your rulebase and the source code for your UnknownMemberListener that may shed some light on the issue.
    If you really need to change the error message to you SOAP clients you may need to implement a custom service but this is unlikely to be trivial.

  • Reverse iterator error

    I was expecting the code below to output the elements of the list but in the reverse order. Hoever the compiler error that happens at the foreach loop is beyond me. Am I declaring the foreach loop wrong? Thanks for suggestions.
    import java.util.*;
    public class Test {
    public static Iterator reverse(List list){
        Collections.reverse(list);
        return list.iterator();
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            List list = new ArrayList();
            list.add("1");list.add("2");list.add("3");
            for(Object obj:reverse(list)) //ERROR: foreach not applicable to expression type
            System.out.print(obj);
    }

    > ..but, I am using it , right?
    Yes. My point is that there is little - if anything
    in this case - to be gained by wrapping
    Collections.reverse() in another method.
    ~Oh, I see what you mean, just try that directly:
    import java.util.*;
    public class Test {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            List list = new ArrayList();
            list.add("1");list.add("2");list.add("3");
            for(Object obj:Collections.reverse(list)) //ERROR: foreach not applicable to expression type
            System.out.print(obj);
    }...Just tried that but I guess I did something wrong, and got another compiler error at the same line again.

  • Have a error in getting the values from database randomly

    Hi to all
    I am new member to this community and new to java programming, i am the one of them who got benefited through this site , with that hope i am asking u to clear my doubt.
    Actually i want to get the data from database randomly, i dont have problem either in database connection and generating random number,its working fine. but when i have to get the data from database with generated random no using absolute function , i am getting an exception
    eg : rs.absolute(2);
    i could not move to the second row of my result set.
    not only absolute function whatever the function i am using except next method, getting exception.
    my code :
    package practical;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class gen {
         Connection con;
         Statement s;
         ResultSet rs;
         public void get(int t)
              try
                   rs.absolute(t);
                   String question=rs.getString("question");
                   System.out.println("Random question : "+question);
              catch(Exception e)
                   System.out.println("get error");
         public void ran()
              Random r=new Random();
                   for(int i=0;i<10;i++)
                        int j=r.nextInt(10);
                        System.out.println("random value : "+j);
                        if(j!=0)
                             try
                                  get(j);
                             catch(Exception e)
                                  System.out.println("ran error");
         public void connect()
              try
                   Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
                   con=DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:ds","sa","server");
                   s=con.createStatement();
                   rs=s.executeQuery("select question from qa");
                   ran();
                   con.close();
              catch(Exception e)
                   System.out.println("error");
         public static void main(String... strins)
              new gen().connect();
    }

    but i acheived through the code which is pasted below but i have to close the database connection for every iteration.
    package practical;
    import java.util.*;
    import java.sql.*;
    public class gen {
         Connection con;
         Statement s;

              while(c!=t)
                   try
                   rs.next();
                   c++;
                   catch(Exception e)
                        System.out.println("next error");
              if(c==t)
              {     try
                        String question=rs.getString("question");
                        System.out.println("Random question : "+question);

                   if(j!=0)
                        try

  • A tunneled Excel refnum goes from a valid value to a NULL between iterations of a For Loop?

    How would a tunneled Excel refnum go from a valid value to a NULL between iterations of a For Loop?
    For
    some reason this works find in one VI and when executed and not in
    another.  Here's screen shots of the highlighted execution with probes
    appropriately. The "Open" refnum is passed into "Performance Test -
    Write Data To Files.vi".  That's where the trouble is.  You can see
    that it goes into the For Loop.  The first iteration is okay, but the
    second and subsequent iterations have the refnum NULL.  See images
    below.

    Is there any chance that the Insert Data Into Excel VI is closing the reference or that it is closed anywhere else (e.g. through a local or by having its owner destroyed)?
    I wouldn't expect the numeric value of the reference to change to 0, but since ActiveX is an external resource, I suppose that it's possible that the probe shows the number only if the resource is actually accessible.

    my questions are:
    1. where is the environment variable stored during this phase which is used by tp tool?
    i have checked the profile EXDBNEW.TPP and compared it with other profile in the same directory which have been used by tp before(phases before this one), which resulted in no different for every environment related value.
    2. i tried to emulate the execution of the command in ULOG11_2 with default environment of <sid>adm with adjustments(e.g db_ora_scheme=SHDTMP, DIR_LIBRARY= /usr/sap/<SID>/abap/exenew) it run with no error of wrong environment whatsoever >.<, so can i just point the environment scheme to <SID>SHD  and executed it manually?

    well, actually i did not looking at the right place at the error , my apologize for that.

    From the log, the problem actually lies in authorization for ops$user + locked shadow user account. After corrected these problems, the process continued. But this still bother me how this error came up since other tp processes(phases before this one) run successfully. But i will mark this question as answered. Thanks for all the attention and hope this will help others too ^^.

  • Iterable and ?-wildcard

    Hi and thank you for reading my question!
    I have a problem wich could be simplified to somewhat like that below. The main point is, that it isn't possible to implement Iterable<BarInterface> and return an Iterator<Bar> (Bar implements BarInterface).
    public interface BarInterface {
       public abstract void bar();
    public class Bar extends BarInterface {
        public void bar() {
    public class Foo extends Iterable<BarInterface> {
        private Set<Bar> bars;
        public Iterator<BarInterface> iterator () {
            return bars.iterator(); // error
    public static void main(String[] args) {
        Foo f oo = new Foo();
        for (BarInterface bar : foo) {
            bar.bar();
    }A possible solution would be to change the implementation of java.lang.Iterable from
    public interface Iterable<T> {
        Iterator<T> iterator();
    }to
    public interface MyIterable<T> {
        Iterator<? extends T> iterator();
    }I am pretty new to generics, so I may have to apologize for not seeing the main point or the solution with the existing implementation. For me it seems to be a restriction which is not necessary.

    Read the generics tutorial escpecially point 4:
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5/pdf/generics-tutorial.pdf
    The problem is imagine a subclass of BarInterface MyBar.
    I can now get an iterator from your Set<Bar>, and add a MyBar object..
    Thats why you can't do it that way. You either need to define your set with BarInterface or make your foo class generic.
    bars.iterator().add(new MyBar());I am still learning generics, so please don't hang me if it was not fully right what I told.

  • Oracle 10g XE and CLOB data type

    I am using Oracle 10.2.0.1.0 Express Edition and I wish to store large amounts of data in a CLOB column. I have created my table using a "standard" SQL statement similar to the following:
    CREATE TABLE LotsofData(
    id INT NOT NULL,
    data CLOB);
    The table is created successfully, so far so good.
    And I used a "standard" insert SQL statement to insert large amount of data into the before mentioned table, similar to the follwing:
    INSERT INTO LotsofData VALUES('4043', 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog <insert more iterations>');
    The data being inserted takes up 4043 bytes. Now when attempting, using among other programs the handy web interface, to execute the insert statement I get this error:
    Error starting at line 1 in command:
    INSERT INTO LotsofData VALUES('4043', 'The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog <insert more iterations>');
    Error at Command Line:1 Column:38
    Error report:
    SQL Error: ORA-01704: string literal too long
    Now if I reduce the size of the data to be inserted to 4000 bytes or below there is no problem. I have performed searches on google groups, google search engine, the oracle site, this forum but not found a way to solve it... I have found documentation stating that there is support for 4gb of user data, but well that doesn't really help.
    I have been on the trail of TABLESPACE and working with that, but with no luck. The data type BFILE will not work as I need to be able to change the data after it has been inserted into the table.
    Is the 4000 bytes a limitation in the Express Edition and I should just forget it, or is there a way I configure the database to accept large amounts of data. Should I be creating the table using a different SQL statement?
    kind regards
    Chris Nilsson

    Right... I found out how you can solve this, well not through the web interface... but oh well it is possible though...
    the error I was getting was: ORA-01704:     string literal too long.
    the keyword/phrase is "bind variables"... Did a little more searching and found this site:
    http://www.akadia.com/services/ora_bind_variables.html
    So basically you use bind variables to insert data which fills more than 4000 bytes...
    Since the data I will be inserting will be inserted via Java/.NET application I found the section called "Bind Variables in VB, Java and other applications" the most interesting... During my testing and I had neglected to use PreparedStatements in Java, and according to the site, using PreparedStatement provided an easier solution as the API does most of the work for you. My solution was to create a small program which read the large amounts of data from a file then feed this to a PreparedStatement, setObject or setASCIIStream/setCharacterStream, then execute it.
    Well I hope this helps other people who get the same error code.

  • Hashed table in Table view

    Hi friends
      Can i use a hashed table in table view of htmlb.
    I tried it and i get the error

  • Costing - Multiple Production Versions and Recursive BoMs

    Hi All,
    We have a production and product costing scenario as follows:
    Production versions 10, 20 and 30. It takes all three versions to manufacture the finished material and there are no intermediate products in this scenario. 10 and 30 are to be costed and 30 is a recursive BoM with the input from version 10 also being the output. 10 is the main production step with components but 30 is a recursive BoM sometimes only with the output material as the input and sometimes with a more complete BoM but which includes the output material as an input component.
    The quantity input appears to be the same as quantity output for the recursive element.
    If anyone has come across this scenario and you can let me know what design principles you followed I would appreciate it.
    We are getting iteration error messages when costing production version 30 and even reducing the input quantity below 95% of the input as per the SAP documentation does not fix the error message.
    Any help you can give will be greatefully received.
    Thanks.
    Regards,
    Tim

    Murali - Its possible to use multiple PV in sub contracting.
    Settings in ERP :
    1. In CFC9 activate the - Transfer multiple selection of PDS indicator. When you select this indicator, the system allows you to select several productions versions in the integration model; it also creates a Production Process Model (PPM) or Production Data Structure (PDS) for each production version in SAP SCM
    2. Assign the PV's to the subcontracting info record through -  Logistics  - Central Functions  - Supply Chain Planning Interface - Core Interface - Advanced Planner and Optimizer - Environment  - Data Transfer  -Assign Multiple Production Versions
    3. When you select the integration model parameters for PDS, you have selected PP/DS Subcontracting as the PDS Type value. Similarly, for PPM, you have selected Subcontracting PPM as the Type of PPM value.
    Subcontracting with multiple production versions is supported. However, the integration with an SAP ERP system requires at least SAP ERP 2005 with Enhancement Pack 03.

  • Iterator List Error "java.util.ConcurrentModificationException"

    Hi,
    I'm with a problem. I've got a set of objects in a List. I'm iterating the list and during this process, I have to add more objects to the list. The system returns the exception "java.util.ConcurrentModificationException".
    What is the solution to this problem, that is, how can I iterate a list, adding or removig elements without error
    Thanx
    MP

    You cannot add to a list while iterators are in progress. You can remove elements by calling the remove method on the iterator.
    If you need to both iterate and add, consider iterating a copy of the list, like so:
    List copy = new ArrayList(originalList);
    for (Iterator it = copy.iterator(); it.hasNext(); ) {
       // call originalList.add here
    }You could also consider indexing into the list (if it's an ArrayList), and then "bumping" your indices as you add elements.
