ITiunes language has changed with 10.1.1.4 from French to English ?
I updated iTunes with the 10.1.1.4 release. Now the interface language has changed from French to English... I don't know why ?
But in the menu iTunes/Edit/Preferences/Language, French is still selected.
Does anyone have a solution?

Head into your Uninstall a program control panel, filo, select itunes and click "Repair".
Does the repair install get you back to the French display language again?

Yes, it's frustrating.
I don't have my iPod with me but, as I recall, the change is done in Settings/Store. That change will apply to NEW purchases. However, be aware that all purchases are permanently associated with the Apple ID that was originally used. Generally, it's only a problem when you need to update an app. IF you do your updating from iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, you'll need to log out and back in again. It's easier from the iPod as you do not need to log out/in but you do need to know the password.
Unfortunately, you can not merge IDs nor can you transfer purchases from one ID to another. Go here to find out exactly what you have. I have the same problem so I deliberately made both passwords identical to make things slightly easier for me. -

My other Imacs and my wife's Ipad 3 have no problem with conneccting. My Ipad keeps coming up with unable to join the network. Nothing has changed with passwords--it just refuses to join my secure network. A couple minutes ago, it connected for 10 seconds, then dropped the connection. Is there a way to reconfigure the Ipad to fix this major problem, as we dropped our carrier (saved a bunch of money) and just went wifi.

HT3965 This screen shot has changed with the new version
The layout has changed with this new version and the main screen does not have the same menu on the left anymore. I cannot see how to change the name, transfer files, etc. It also keeps freezing and crashing. Anybody else having problems? And how to I do all of these things since this has all changed?

I am trying to chage WEB UI via Configuration in component work bench. I taken my own z config key and modified the UI and saved the changes.
While changing the UI at configuration the standard CAPTION language has changed to different language like u201CОбщи данни, Споразумения за ниво на обслужване u201Cetc.

When I upgraded to 10.7.4 I lost the ability to use a lot of my previous software that was intel based. My Adobe suites for example. So for $29 i now have to spend $1000's to get these to work. What has changed with Mountian Lion. I am not rich?
The reason your applications do not work in Lion/Mountain Lion is that they were written for the older PowerPC CPU that all Macs used up to 2006. When Apple made its transition to the Intel CPU, they licensed software that they included in all versions of OS X (from Tiger to Leopard and optionally, Snow Leopard) called Rosetta.
Rosetta miraculously allows PowerPC applications to work on the Intel processor transparently; you do not know it is even present.
The problem is that after 6 years of the transition, Apple's license to use the underlying software expired for OS X Lion and all version thereafter (and it is doubtful that the current owner of the software, IBM, would relicense it, even if Apple were inclined to do so).
So you do not have to accept recriminations from others for previously using Rosetta without even knowing it was present and running!
So for those of use that need to upgrade to Lion/Mountain Lion, I have offered the option to install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels 7:

Step 1: Delete the preview cache.

So, the trick is to find the preview cache.

To be clear: it's a folder in with your catalog and you want to delete the whole folder but nothing else.
If your catalog file path is "X:\My Catalogs\My Catalog.lrcat", then the preview cache "folder" will be:
X:\My Catalogs\My Catalog Previews.lrdata
So the trick is to find your catalog file, and since Lr won't open your catalog and run, you can't use it to find out.
But you should be able to find it by searching your disks for *.lrcat files - do you know how to do that?
Which OS?
If you know the name of the catalog it will help, but also: it's probably NOT in with your program files.
UPDATE: The above-mentioned document gives default name and location for preview cache, so if you haven't overridden the default, it should be right where that document said it would be - is it? (of course you need to know your user name too, but presumably you do, no?).

When on a page if I click on a web link I get a new window that is blank and asks me enter a web address. This started happening with the new 3.6 version. It seems to have something to do with what I choose for the location in my privacy settings as the window changes with each setting but I still cannot get to the new site. Any ideas? I have no problem with this in IE and I have to keep opening IE when I encounter the problem on Firefox which is annoying.

I have looked at the iWeb section of apple.com and have not been able to find anything close to explaining what has been changed/fixed with the new release (1.0.1)
Does anyone know if release notes are available anywhere?
Or we to just assume by trial and error what has been changed/fixed?

In my experience so far, the following are noticeable:
It's now sufficient to use http://web.mac.com/membername to access your iWeb site.
Uploading to .Mac is quicker. Login doesn't take as long, uploading begins sooner, uploading is more intelligent in terms of being really limited to changed pages only.
Thumbnails on Photo pages are now in JPG format rather than PNG. Smaller files, quicker load times. -
Sharing has changed with Photos
I noticed that when I create a shared album in Photos I do not have the option of sharing it to a public website.
Am I missing something? It seems I can only do this after I've created the shared album and sent the invitations for recipients to "subscribe".
This means I have to go back in a change to "public website" and resend my invitations.
Can someone advise on this?

I tested what will happen to an iPhoto Library, if I copy it to iCloud. Syncing corrupts the database. None of the the iPhoto libraries could be opened again in iPhoto without rebuilding the library, and many photos could no longer be opened.
I'm sure Apple will address the point soon.....
The iCloud Photo Library Beta, that you now can use from mobile devices will be available early next year on a Mac with the Photos.app for Mac, that yet has to be released.

You can and you should back up your iPhoto library. But back it up to an external disk. That is much more reliable than any cloud storage, in the long run less expensive than cloud storage, and it is really accessible. If you backup to a cloud it will take a long time to restore a large photo library, and if there are network problems you may not be able to access your backup. -

What 4.0.1 changes is the display of signal strength, which was much too optimistic in earlier versions of iOS. The actual signal strength has not changed, nor will it ever by a software update.
You cannot compare signal strength by how many bars are drawn. This is an interpretation of actual signal strength (which is expressed in deciBells) by the software. This software can change between revisions of software on the same device and most definitely is different between devices of different manufacturers.
