ITouch 4g Camera Frozen

Yo, so after like several months of using my touch, the camera is now frozen and unusable. It is stuck at the shutter screen thingy .
Im not sure of the cause, but I have resetted my ipod, turned it fully off for about 15 min. and restored the settings. Now im stumped because its summer and i have no camera !
I just needa know what else i can do to fix my problem and maybe even the cause.

i have done all of this and there is no luck but i am afraid of sending it to apple or even bringing it up on the phone because my ipod is jailbroken but that has nothing to do with the problem i would be greatful to anyone who can tell me a solution but i am hoping ios 5 will fix it

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times.

Camera frozen after using FaceTime

Camera frozen after using FaceTime, have heard this is a common prob and need iPad replaced?!! Any quick fix?

Camera Frozen

My Ipad camer has frozen when opening.
I have looked at discussions but no joy yet. I have reset the pad (Home button and on button for 10 seconds) and still the same. I then re installed the software and restored from a backup in the cloud from earlier in the day when all was working.
The camera works in facetime ok. Only to take a photo doesn't work.
Any help please.

Thanks for quick reply. I tried that to no avail. I have just restored the OS in recovery and set the ipad to new. It installed and the camera still doesn't work, so I know the problem isn't with any app or document I had installed.
Has there been any software updates in the last few days maybe a bug in the software? because this seems to be OS Software problem, not hardware or external software bug

HT1353 where can I get an itouch without camera?? Do Apple still have it?

Hi, I'm from Singapore and I'm trying to buy the older version of itouch (the one without camera). I asked the staff at Apple outlets and they said they no longer sell it at the stores so I'm wondering where to get the older authentic itouch as I believe there must be some leftovers after the launch of the newer version of itouch. Please help, thanks!

Newest iTouch - the camera function does not open. Any fixes ?

Used my iTouch camera yesterday.
Today it will not open. I just get a dark blue screen. The photo library works fine.
Anybody have any ideas ?
How long does Apple warranty them ?

Ipad 2 camera frozen

after latest iosupdate about 3 weeks ago my camera shutter wont open when i try take a fron picture.
i Have no local Apple store. it was fine before and worked perfectly.
i Bought the apple device from a reputable seller on ebay about 6 months ago but where do I send it back to. It seems its the update that has made it not work.

Try closing the Camera app via the taskbar and see if it works when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Camera frozen wont turn on can

Yeah ive been having this problem for quite a while now, And i pretty much don't know what to do anymore.
Ive been told to restore it. When I first got my touch the camera was obiously working fine, but it started to lag when it tried to turn on.
Now it wont turn on at all and its like lagging on the bottom where it shows the camera to slide to video at the bottom right corner.
Ive restored it completly deleted EVERYTHING because it was the only way it would work. Now its not turning on at all and il let it sit there while the camera tries to turn on but it just goes back to the main screen where all the Apps are.
Can someone please help me?

Iphone 4S camera frozen

I have only had my phone a couple of weeks- at first the camera wouldnt work in certain apps. But today on thanksgiving it just froze on the shutter. I have tried all of the suggested fixes and nothing will wake it up. Do I have to go in and have it wiped?

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
If you have been through ALL of the troubleshooting steps and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone to Apple for investigation.

ITouch 4g camera is fuzzier and does worse with sources of light than other 4g's

Here are some photos taken with my iPod touch 4G. I was hanging out with some friends last night and they took photos and videos that weren't nearly as grainy and blurry. What's wrong? In situations that were just as dark or darker, the videos and photos turned out clearer and less blurry. They were still visibly low res, but they were at least presentable for showing friends or posting on social networks. I've even seen ipod touch 4g video reviews with better photos.

With less that optimum light, the still photos taken by the 4G iPod are poor, like the ones yuo posted. The 4G does not have good camera.
You can
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

How do i fix an itouch that is frozen on the apple symbol?

My itouch will not go to the home screen. i have restarted it several times. itunes recongizes the ipod but will not show the content on it so i am not able to restore. please i need help.

Force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost.

Camera frozen iPhone 6 plus

i bought an iPhone 6 plus 128 Gb space Grey
Since a few days when switching modes from photo to Video to Slow Mo to photo etc, the screen gets frozen.
I thought its a problem with the assistive touch but after switching it off too, this problem persists.
I restore my phone & set it up as anew phone. Still that doesn't resolve it.

I was using my itouch and then a bit later picked it up and I had a dull wallpaper image with a clog logo in the middle of the screen. I cant sycn, switch it on or reset? any advice please
