Itouch and Monster FM transmitter

When i go to plug my ipod into my monster: FM transmitter the volume bar disappears from the screen and i am un able to hear anything along with turn the volume up or down... Not sure what to do other then buying a whole new FM transmitter and this one was not cheap xD... Im using a itouch 2nd gen upgraded to 4.0 but stopped working with my FM transmitter a few months ago with 3.X...

Monster FM transmitter

Last month i purchased an ipod 30gb along with a Monster FM transmitter for use in my car. everything has worked great until this past weekend. now the sound in my car sounds like i'm in a tunnel and on some songs the vocals are hardly even able to be heard. anyone have any idea what could be the issue, the ipod works fine with headphones.

You can't sync from an iPod to an iPad (or vice versa). If the videos are not on your computer's iTunes then you can copy them from the iPod to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) and you can then sync them from your computer to your iPad (depending upon what country that you are in then you might also be able to re-download them directly on the iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app).

Hello, I have an iMac and an iPad 2. one of my kids have an iTouch and the other an iPhone 4S.
When their friends call, it shows up on my iPad 2 and the list of friends is the list of friends for my child
who has the iPhone 4S. To my knowledge, we all have to share an APPLE ID to share music and apps?...
So is that the problem....what happens if we have separate APPLE ID's....?
Even though we are an APple fam, I am still not sure how the whole thing works....

Actually you can have separate apple ID's for icloud and facetime but use the family one for purchases so you can share your apps, music..
Each owner opens up a Apple ID for only their device(s).. Log into icloud using new apple ID on each device for each person. Hit facetime in settings, and input your new apple id as facetime ID.. Done..
Now go to settings > store and make sure your family account is inputed there on all the devices so you can share your purcahsed music, apps, videos, etc....
I am sharing purcahses with my entire family but we all have separate icloud, facetime, apple ID etc.. Its imperative you have split Apple ID's for icloud otherwise all your phonebooks will mix and match.....
Also as far as iphone goes.. Iphone can be set up to use apple ID to call or phonenumber (by default) So if you facetime a number it will ring only on that phone, if you facetime an apple ID that is on the iphone it will ring on all devices associated with that apple ID

iTunes can manage any number of iDevices separately. Be sure each has a different name. You can only connect one at a time. Please get the IPod Touch user guide.

jbrooker, I am having a similar issue to roaminggnome, we have 4 windows laptops, 2 iPhones, 5 ipods.
I have the iTunes account and the music Library on my laptop and this is used to sync to my iPhone and 4 iPods = 5 devices.
I have managed to share my library with my wifes laptop and she can access it when my PC is not on, she is also able to sync her iPhone to her laptop. She has her own iTunes account.
My son has an iPod and laptop but no iTunes account, his iPod is synced to my laptop and my iTunes account. But his laptop cannot download my iTunes Library he is getting a message saying that my iTunes account is synced to the maximum of 5 devices. Thus he can only see the library when my laptop is at home (and I take my Laptop to work etc).
Would this problem go away if my son has an iTunes account? He's only 11yo so I'm reluctant to set him up with one just yet.
Any advice would be appreciated.

In itunes it is called syncing and you can choose exactly what content to sync to all devices and it can be different for all of them

Apps won't sync from iTouch to computer. iTunes recognizes the iTouch and the app content, but the content is grayed out on the computer screen and won't allow me to sync. My iTouch is version 4.2.1 with 6.8GB capacity.

Your iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. If you try to add content to it from another computer it will erase the contents of your iPod and replacement it with the contents of the new library.
In regards to the unstableness, have you tried a hard reset to see if that makes a difference? To do this, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

Thanks, Michael. Itunes Match is not enabled on my daughter's Itouch. I have subscribed to it and have used the service to back up my song purchases. I merely did a sync via USB (as normal) to her Itouch. The sync wiped out 85% of the playlists that were on my home computer for the last seveal years. I have updated her itouch multiple times - both before and after I had subscribed to iTunes Match. After the last sync to her iTouch, the playlists just disappeared. My home computer is the main device I use to manage my Itunes library and my playlists. I am not sure what happened?
BTW - how are you affiliated with Apple? Are you? I feel like I have explained the issue pretty clearly, but your responses seem to focus on her iTouch and not my computer, where the playlists are managed. I want to know how to get the playlists back on my computer.

Running PC with W7 x64. Upgrdaed to iTunes 10.7. Upgraded iPhone 4s to IOS 6. Caqnnot backup. iTunes says session cannot be started. Does not recognize apps on device. Device shoes up on WiFi then disappears. Does not work either on USB. ITouch and iPad .

After upgeading to iTunes 10.7 on my PC with W7 x64 and IOS 6 on my iPhone 4s, I cannot backup. It says sesson cannot be started. Also cannot recognize apps on iPhone. Further, with WiFi and powered on, the device apperas briefly in iTunes then disappears. Same for iTouch and iPad with IOS 5. How do I resove this? More importantly, how does Apple resolve it?
