Itouch apps not downloading

My itouch isn't downloading my apps. I click install and it'll go to wait, then it just goes away. I tried downloading on my computer but it wiped out all of my apps. I tried restoring my itouch already but that hasnt done anything. Any suggestions?

- The message is saying that the version of the iOS on your iPod does not support the apps you want. What iOS version is on the iPod? (Settings>General>About>Version
- What happens when, with the iPod connect to the computer, you click on the Check For Updates button in the Summary pane for the iPod?
- What version of iTunes is installed on your compouter? What OS and version is on the computer?
- Are you sure yu have a 2G iPod? A 2G can go to 4.2.1.

Why are my apps not downloading? They just sit there waiting and I keep getting an error saying that my purchases cannot be downloaded at this time and to try again later. I have tried logging out and in, and rebooting but neither has worked

Same problem here. Not able to update any apps or to download new purchased music. Doesn't work on iPad, iPhone, or iTunes. Tried with 3G download rather than wifi on the phone and iPad. It still hasn't worked. I changed me credit card, but without success.
The store is currently broken for some users, maybe all.

12 days of Christmas app not downloading content

The 12 days of Christmas app not downloading content just hangs. Today's book will not download at all. Have reinstalled both app and iBook with no luck. Can still download from App Store so Internet is ok. Any suggestions?

It seems that if your Settings->General->International->Region Format is not set specifically as Canada you will have this issue. (even if your times zone and iTunes account settings are correct...)
Changing that setting from US to Canada was the fix for me.

I have tried to download an app named Call Blocker using my Credit Card.
My card has been debited but app not downloaded.
Shall i get my refund ?
No reciept or any transaction number generated only card is debited ?

Did you receive any purchase receipt email? The order number is included in that email and you need that to be able to request for a refund.

Mail.app not downloading email from one person

I am using Mail.app (v2.1) on 10.4.8 with a mac.com email address setup and am having problem receiving emails from just one person - that's right only one sender.
What happens is, the person sends the email and it arrives at the webmail interface (i.e. I can view the email using Safari) but the emails are not downloading to Mail.app like all others i receive, I have to login to .Mac webmail to read the emails this persons is sending to me.
At one stage while trying to solve this I had a "Rule" which would play a certain sound when email from this person arrives and Mail.app would play this sound but still didn't download the email.
I have tried synchronising the account and rebuilding the mailbox but am still not able to get Mail.app to download these emails.

I have had the same problem for over a year. Certian senders using my .MAC account get stuck on the .mac server. After a few days, a few of the emails may get through. Other emails to my .mac account will get through.
For me, this started over a year ago when there was an OS update. I noticed it started on this Ibook then continued to all other MACs as the updates where made. I too have rebuilt the mailbox and synced the accounts.
Where you able to fix your problem?

Why do songs and apps not download or update on iPhone 4 with iOS 5?

After updating my son's phone to iOS5 his apps will not update via WiFi and his purchased album from iTunes on the phone will not download.

It is iOS 6, not 5.

Try to Search by Application Name through Spotlight Search on your iPhone 4s with iOS 7.

IPad app not downloading

This morning I downloaded two apps from the app store to my iMac. I then synced my iPad air and iPhone 5. The first app downloaded to both my devices. The other app. "Five Every Day", did not download to my iPad, although it did download to my iPhone. In iTunes it says this app is made for the iPad. All my software is up to date. Will someone please tell me why this one app will not download to my iPad?

No idea, but the app is optimized for iPhone rather than iPad.
Open the app store app on the iPad and see if it is available for download in your purchased apps. You may have to flip the view to iPhone apps to see it.
Also, if your tag is correct and you are still on 7.0.3, you may wish to look into updating iOS. You are a few versions behind.

Thank you for the information. I did not mention that I am using the same account on all my devises and everything worked properly for over 1 year, then the iphone stoped downloading apps.

It sounds like you are unable to update or download apps. They appear to get stuck or otherwise become unresponsive. I have a few recommendations to try here. First, close all the open apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that, sign out of your iTunes account in Settings > iTunes and App stores, and restart the phone and re test the issue:

ITouch Apps not working on new 32G - any suggestions?

Son has same problem with 32G iTouch he got for Christmas, was working fine til today. Now when he trys to open the apps it opens for 1 sec then goes back to screen. Can see on various sites lots of similar problems. Have tired reseting, and syncing and also authorising computer, deselecting apps then re-selecting and then syncing again, all to no avail and is now driving me mental. It was a very expensive gift NOT to work. Any other suggestions welcome.

I had this before and I finally figured it out. On the apps icon, there might be a number. that number is the amount of updates for your apps that you have downloaded. The apps have to be kept up to date by allowing the apps program to run. so select apps icon and then select update. that should be all you have to do. That was the answer for me. sorry such a late reply, hope it can help

Apps not downloading - they start then drop out

I trawled through all the forums/discussions and questions on the support communities but are yet to find a solution.
In brief: I am overseas but usually based in the UK (not sure this will have any bearing on the issue but still), my apps on my iPhone 5 were not updating - this has happened before twice but I managed to resolved those issues those times, so I deleted them all with a view to reinstalling. So far so good.
I did that and then when I tried to reinstall from my phone's App Store, I find that the process starts but within a minute or two I get a message telling me that the app can't download at this time. I did manage to download two apps but they other 10 or so errored in this way.
Also, I can download apps onto my Mac but they don't seem to be synching (via the Cloud) with my phone and they used to work fine.
I've rebooted/reset and pretty done everything I can think of and still I can't download my apps.
I'm pretty much stuck because I need to download Whatsapp and Viber asap - until them I'm pretty much incommunicado.
Very much appreciate it if someone out there can shed some light.

I know this will sound pretty obvious but did you try a hard reset on your phone. Close out all the apps, hold the home and power button and do a fresh restart. Also try restarting your router. Let me explain why I'm suggesting this. My sister's phone in her place would randomly stop connecting to the app store, cancel downloads on the App store for no reason.
We tried everything, restoring it, doing a fresh install, swapped the phone out. Still nothing. Took it to my place and no issues which was even more puzzling. She couldn't even connect when on 4G. Someone suggested I do a hard reset of my router and phone at the same time. For some strange reason that solved her problem.

Air Apps Not Downloading

Any applications that I try to download wont. It says I need adobe air installed to download them. I Do have it installed but same message over and over. Have uninstalled it re-installed it and still the same. Working on Vista with SP1 Thanks in advance.

I just noticed that when I go my control panel programs adobe air is there installed but when I go to my adobe folder in prgrams hard drive its not listed there?? So its like its installed but not fully maybe? Strange. *** Okay, I uninstalled then clikced on the app I wanted and yes, it installed air and then the app. Awesome!!!! Thanks!

Why do my apps not download/update on ios7/iPhone 4?

My apps. will not install or update on my iPhone 4 after downloading ios7.
This loading symbols appears and will stop as soon as I quite the app store. Then absolutely nothing happens. If I don't quit the app store, this loading symbol stays, yet nothing appears to happen.
I tried to update them by plugging my phone in and using my Macbook Pro/iTunes but I can't even work this out.
EDIT: I should add, I'm using iTunes 11.1

I have recently faced the same issue on iPhone 4S, wherein which I cannot download any apps or I cannot update any installed apps even on celullar data same result.
Internet works fine. All apps requiring internet work fine.
iPhone 4S running on iOS 7.0.6
Tried all basic troubleshooting like Reset iPhone, Reset network settings, Power Cycle the Router - NO RESULT
Try This - Click on sync under the Apps tab and let the Sync complete.
Tried downloading apps - worked
Tried updating apps - worked

Paid App not downloading.

I purchased GTA : San Andreas game from Mac App Store. The download is not getting complete. It is not resuming from where it stopped. Also, when I go to Purchases sextion in Store, it is showing an error.
What to do now ??
