My itouch crashed when updating to ios6 and now won't restore! Getting an error code (14). Any ideas?

Error 13, 14, 35 and 50 (or -50)
These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
Try a different USB 30-pin dock-connector cable.
Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause this error. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

I updated AVG, and now Firefox's Restore Previous Session is not working properly. I've restarted my computer a few times, and still no restore previous session. I have the button, but it looks different and does not open up the previous session. Help!

I updated AVG and after that the restore session button for Firefox has not worked. Each time I close and that option becomes available, I am able to click, but it does nothing but blink. Also, it appears different from before.

Had this trouble myself, just did some research and solved it!
Go to the '''Help''' menu, go to "'''Troubleshooting Information'''"
On the new window, click "'''Open Containing folder'''" next to ''Profile Directory'' (This opens the folder on your PC where Mozilla stores some settings, like a tab history)
In the new Windows Explorer window, Find the file "'''chromeappsstore.sqlite'''"
You'll want to close Firefox and then '''delete''' that file (don't worry, Firefox will create a new one, and you won't even lose the open tabs)
Start Firefox again and the button should work!
(For completeness's sake, the profile folder for windows7 is: C:\Users\Tiberion\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\c6xu23fh.default\
where you replace Tiberion with your own username, and the random characters in the final folder will be different.)

Error when updating itunes and now it won't reinstall

When i was updating there was an error, now i've had to uninstall and it won't install again saying it can't load the C drive library. Any ideas what to do?

BT netprotect...updated yesterday and now won't ac...

During yesterday BT netprotect updated itself and I thought all was ok. Turned on the PC this morning to find a windows message saying security was at rislk and firewall and anti viral software were not turned on.
Cliked 'turn on' and seemed OK but go to BT netprotect to check and it is is still red (indicating action needed). I click on the 'activate' and nothing happens.
I use BT infinity (option 3) and windows 7. Have read McAfee's forum and can't see a fix.
Simple answer only please....pretty useless with a computer....

Well after trying everything I could think of to resolve this, nothing worked.
Uninstalled BTNP from this laptop and installed MSE (with McA siteadvisor) - WOW, the laptop is ruddy quick now
Will be dropping BTNP from the other laptop and the desktop in due course.

Updating to IOS 5 won't update and now won't restore my backup.

After creating a backup of my ipod touch and then updating it. It failed the update then saids it needs to restore and saids it cannot restore. Now I cannot update or restore. Anyone have ideas?

reset your ipod touch by click and hold home button and sleep/wake up mode for 10seconds.. then try again

It shouldn't be a problem. Restore, and then resynch everything back. You will have backed up photos and such.

Yes, I know King-Penguin....I'm just so frustrated and in a panic, that I was hoping the itunes geeks that sent out this falilure of an update would still see it, and feel bad. And maybe even send out a quick link fix it botton. Guess that's just a newbie way of thinking!

you may put your device in dfu mode then connect it to itune ,after that there may be a message come up and say you have to restore your device. Restore your device to 5.1.1 then when you finish update it from itune not from your device directly.

Labview crashed when saving vi and now cannot open VI libray

I am using LabVIEW 7.1.
I am developing a moderately large application. I Just saved my main VI and LabVIEW crashed for some reason.
My vi library will now not open. When I try to open the library I get the error message: "an error occured when listing the contents of (my directory/myvi.library)".
Has anybody ever had this problem and if so does anybody know how I can recover my vi library?
I have just lost about 2 days work so if anybody has any ideas I would be most grateful.
I hope it is not a fatal problem - I cannot even show the vi's in the vi libray using windows explorer.

It looks like you've learned the hard way why you should not use .llb's
during development. If a single VI in the library get's corrupted, the
entire library is bad. This is why during development, you're much
better off keeping everything in an organized directory structure. This
way, a crash like you had would only affect those VI's that had not yet
ben saved.
I've heard rumors that NI has an internal untility that might be able to recover the library. I'd try contacting support directly to see if they can help.

Updated ios6 and now no sound / Thinks headphones are in!!

I have an ipad 3 32gb wifi that i only bought last week... Everything is fine and loved it but updated it yesterday with ios6... at first it was fine but after a couple of hours it randomly started thinking it had headphones plugged in (never even put headphones in since i got it) and it wont play sound unless i do put headphones in. ive tried system restore, putting some headphones in and out the jack but nothing.. I played tetris for a few minutes and suddenly there was one second of sound, before it disappeared again!!!
Does anyone else have the same issue?? and if so how do i resolve??

Try this for your home Wi-Fi:
On your iPhone, Settings > Wi-Fi > select your home network > "forget this network"
Power down (unplug) your wireless router
Restart your iPhone
Plug in your router
Re-join that network

No - I updated my iphone last week to ios 6 and now when I use my phone in my car to listen to my music on the iphone it says 'no directory...'. I tried another iphone, just updated, and it said the same thing - then I asked if I could use a iPod, it's the old version ios 5 and it worked fine.
