ITouch says it needs to connect to ITunes
Well I leave my ITouch in my car overnight after my drive home from work. I get in my car this morning and I get pretty much a picture only showing my ITouch needs to be hooked up to ITunes. This obviously ****** me off cause it was in my car all night and nothing touched it. I do not have ITunes at work for obvious reasons, I want to know what is going on? I refuse to give Apple the $6 for a software patch that is utterly useless.
What is the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number is also provided.

You should be able to reconnect to iTunes and then you should see an option to restore to your ipad from your last back up in iTunes.

Disabled
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

If problem what happens or does not happen and when in the instructions? When you successfully get the iPod in recovery mode and connect to computer iTunes should say it found an iPod in recovery mode. -

After it restores it will walk through a setup.
It will ask you if you want to setup as a new device, from an iCloud backup or from an iTunes backup. Choose iCloud backup and then it will ask you to sign in to your iCloud account. It will restore and reboot. The you will be good.

On my child's Ipod 4 generation, we had put in the passcode wrong and the Ipod 4 generation has disabled to a length were it nows says "Connect to Itunes". We were wondering what that means.

If you connect it to a different computer than that which it's normally synced to then :
