Itouch sound - I can hear music but not vocals on songs.

Hello - I have an Ipod touch and the sound was working with no problem, but now I can hear the music but not the actucal singing. I have read that it might be the playback speed, but I do not see an option to change that. please help!

Try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue.

Do you really mean the latest, as in 11.0.1? That was supposed to include a fix for Airplay.

So when you look at your Preview it is Black indicating a camera is there and selected as no camera would not show a video icon and if from the Preferences would be a grey background and a no camera message.
I see this is a iMac. Any chance it is a G5 one ?
If so go to System preferences > Displays and make sure it is set to Millions. (Change it and change it back to be sure)

IPhone 4 - can hear music, but no other sounds

When I got up this morning, I had a IM message. I didn't access it right away, then went and took a few pictures. On the last picture I tried to take, my phone froze. I couldn't swipe to open and couldn't swipe to close. I finally got it to close by pressing the top button and the centre button at the same time. Now I have no sound when texting or sound when i send an email and can't hear my phone ring, but I can hear my music. Any ideas?

Make sure that "Do not disturb" is off in Control Center. Also, make sure you have turned the volume up while at the home screen and with no music playing.

Can hear iTunes, but not other programs

I recently did an update to iTunes and ever since then, I can not hear sounds from other sources, such as if I go to Youtube. In the sound settings, I get that there is "audio device detected". When I try to listen to a system sound, I get a message that says "Windows can not play the sound because the sound card may be in use". But I CAN hear iTunes.
Also, I have tried a system restore to a point prior to the iTunes update, but Windows didn't recognize any changes and would not go back to the restore point. Also, in device manager, it says the sound card is working properly.
Any ideas, if iTunes caused this?

My movies won't play. you can hear them but not watch

Ok any video i put on my ipod 5th gen won't work.
i can press play on it it will play the audio of that movie but not the video it just shows the artwork of that movie thats it.

On your iPod go to "Videos / Video Settings".
Then select "TV Out" and either set it to "off" or "ask".
Also, make sure you are accessing the video through the videos menu. If you have a video mixed in an audio playlist and you access it through that, you also won't be able to see the video.

Can hear audio but not see video in iMovie

have a project in iMovie and when I click on the space bar I can hear the audio, but the video remains black even though the thumbnails show images. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

You cant directly add the video object to the stage
to add it on the stage add UIComponent to stage and add the video object to it

Can Hear Movies, but not Songs

I'm using external speakers on my MP and everything was working fine. However, when I play songs I cannot hear anything, but when I play movies I can.

Found the problem...I had iTunes set to AppleTV, instead of Computer.

FCP 7 - I can hear audio but not see the footage in the viewer or canvas

Ive had a few problems with my final cut. Im working off my laptop with a monitor. My immediate issue is that I have been editing fine this morning and then all of a sudden I could hear the audio for my clips but I can't see the footage in the viewer or the canvas. I can double clip on each clip individually and see what the footage is however. I've shut my computer down a few times and its not fixing itself. Also a lot lately when I sit down to do some editing the footage flickers on one clip and wont proceed to the next clips footage but I can still hear the sound. I would LOVE some help with this if anyone knows whats going on? Sascha

Make sure the canvas or viewer are selected then go to VIEW>CHANNELS and set it to RGB. It might be set to ALPHA.
OR...
Click on the drop down menu above the Viewer or Canvas and make sure that you are on IMAGE or IMAGE + WIREFRAME.

IPad 2 can stream music but not movie to Apple TV

Just purchased my iPad 2 recently (love it) and have now installed a new Apple TV unit. Am able to stream music from iPad iTunes to the tv but cannot find the AirPlay pointer for the movie I purchased.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have iPhone 4 with latest software update and an Apple TV (the one with the HDD) and when I have iTunes open on my iPhone and I chose the icon on the bottom right side of the screen (AirPlay) Apple TV does not show up as one of the choices.
I just did a 'reset' on the Apple TV and it didn't help.
On my iTunes here on my iMac I can see the choice to stream to the Apple TV.
Is anyone else having this problem?

I have been using Final Cut pro v6 without any problems but recently had to reinstall. Since then I can't open and view all my Quicktime clips. They appear white in timeline which means you can hear audio but not view picture. Any tips?

They appear as white clips - audio only no pictures. There are a few QT clips you can view as regular thumbnail images and they play ok. What's the issue? I have fcp v6.0.6 and QT v7. Any thoughts on what to do next?

Yes I did software updates which updated fcp to 6.0.6 and QT to version 7.7. That's as far as updates have taken me although i have requested daily updates. I forgot to say the clips don't play in QT view either. Again sound but no pictures when they are played.

There is a certain minimum data rate your Internet service must support to do Video.
The little pilot light next to the camera will come on when the camera comes on. You can test out the camera with Photo Booth.

Can hear guitar, but not mic in GB2

I have a M-Audio Fasttrack USB, and can record with my acoustic guitar just fine. But my M-Audio Nova mic is also connected to the interface, and for some reason is not being picked up. I've switched the System and GB preferences to the Fasttrack input, and messed with everything else I thought would make a difference. Any suggestions? Please help!
