ITouch Sync Erased HOME Calendar Group,but left all others- how to restore?

I've got 6 Calendar groups on my iTouch- just synched and discovered that the "HOME" Calendar group has vanished on my MBP AND iTouch!!! I can't find it in iTunes, I've got no back up on the MBP since it's only got one hard drive- any help 1) to restore my HOME Calendar group & 2) What the heck happened????

I can't find settings within Yahoo or within my iphone to alter editing options.
How can I get access to edit and delete the Yahoo calendar from my iphone? I never schedule anything from the Yahoo webpage. All my appointments and reminders are scheduled from the iphone.

My Yahoo email account worked just fine on my iPhone 4S for the last 2 months. Then this morning I started receiving the apple.imap.mail,yahoo error. I tried all of the steps above in solving the yahoo email issue including numerous hard re-sets and deletions of my yahoo account settings without any success. So I gave up trying to use the default Yahoo setup option. I added my Yahoo account back as an "other" type email account and then had the option to choose to set it up as a "POP" account instead of an IMAP type. I then just used the server settings recommended from Yahoo Help for a Yahoo Plus Email POP (or just google yahoo plus email pop settings). This works and I am back in business.
I'm not sure if this will work for yahoo mail classic accounts.
Frustrating that this issue seems to have been going on for quite awhile and Apple still as not made any acknowledgement of this issue or proposed a fix for those of us that can not resolve the issue with a reset.

I have just bought an iMac and when it has sync'd my calendar from my iphone all the appointments are showing on the Mac a day earlier than they appear on my iphone. Help?

Hi can anyone help? I have had an iphone for years now and use my calendar to run my life! I have just invested in an iMac but when it has sync'd my calendar from my phone all my events are appearing one day earlier. I have checked the time zone and set it to Apple Europe. Can anyone help e get this sorted? Much appreciate any help.

It sounds like your events synced to your computer from the phone and they are all an hour out of sync. I recommend verifying that time zone support is turned on with your iCloud calendar if you are using iCloud:
Use a time zone other than the default
In iCloud Calendar, choose Preferences from the Action pop-up menu below the sidebar.
Click Advanced, select “Enable time zone support,” then click Save.
With time zone support on, a “time zone” pop-up menu appears when you create an event, letting you set any time zone you want.
You can also reset the default time zone for your calendars (and their events) at any time.

If not, I would verify that your iPhone date and time are set correctly with the correct time zone support information:

To enable Time Zone Support for calendars
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Scroll down to Calendars.
Tap Time Zone Support.
Slide the slider for Time Zone Support to ON.
Tap Time Zone.
Enter your current location or the closest city in the same time zone and tap it when it appears in the results list.
And I would next verify that this information is correct on your computer as well:
Choose Calendar > Preferences, click Advanced, then select “Turn on time zone support.”

For you to have the best experience in the HP forum I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide. Learn How to Post and More i understand that your notebook finds and displays many network but not yours but another laptop does locate it. One of the easiest steps to try is to reset the router by removing power for approximately 20 seconds and then reconnecting the power. Give the router time to reset and come back up . Does you network now show? If your network is set to 5.0 GHz try changing the setting to mixed mode or 2.4 GHz as that is the best selection for HP notebooks. If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll.

Multiple calendar views but not All?

Is there a way to view multiple calendars yet not view all? I'm assuming not but maybe I'm missing something. In iCal I can have multiple calendars yet I can check each one and if uncheck they won't view. I basically have one calendar group I want but I don't want to see it all the time. Yet with the iPhone I either have to view them all or one individually at a time. Anyway around this?

There is not. With the iPhone, it's All calendars or one calendar, no options in between.
As I'm sure you know, you can submit feedback to Apple. Should be pretty simple to enable that in a future update, but of course there's no way to know where it will fit on their priority list.

Can sync some of my music but not all of it

Ever since I updated to iOS 7, whenever I try to sync my iPhone 5s with my MacBook, some of the songs will go onto my phone, but not all of them. In iTunes under the "On this iPhone" tab, it shows all my music, but the majority of the songs are greyed out with a circle next to them. I have no problem syncing my iPods and iPad, all my music shows up and plays on them. I restored my phone and my phone and iTunes are both updated, but that didn't help. Any ideas about what's causing this and how to fix it?

Un-sync all your music to remove it from the device, then restart (hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until you see the apple, then let go). Now re-sync your music.

Every tutorial I have looked at says that you click on a + sign in the lower right corner and then make your entry. I do not have a + sign on my screen. Can some one help me.

Shootist007, I think Cdf15 wants each recipient to see his/her own email address.
Cdf15, you can't quite do what you asked with Mail alone, but you can come close with a slight variant of what Shootist007 recommended. Just put a dummy address (perhars the sender's) in the To field and all recipient addresses in the Bcc field. That way, no recipient sees either the other recipients' addresses or their own.

I have connected my phone through exchange sync to my outlook account at work. I have on the calendar, email, tasks, and contacts. The information I type on the iphone calendar does not trasfer to the outlook calendar. Any suggestions to help me with this problem. If I type the information on my outlook calendar it will place on my phones calendar.

I guess it depends on how your "connected" the iPhone to Exchange. If you set up iCal to sync to your iPhone through iTunes and set up Outlook on your Mac to sync with iCal and have both iCal and Outlook running when you sync your iPhone with iTunes, then all the calendar entries made on your iPhone will become calendar entries on the Exchange server.
If you set iTunes to send the Exchange calendar to the iPhone and you make meetings on the iPhone in the "Calendar" calendar, then iTunes thinks it's doing the right thing by keeping the Calendar and Exchange calendars separate. That's why one is red and one is blue (unless you change the default colors) on your iPhone. I know iTunes can read from an Exchange server, but I think only Outlook can write to it. Perhaps there are other settings, I'm not all that pleased with the solution as it stands myself.

Content of screen moves to right of screen and truncates, scroll bar missing. Full screen restores display but hides all other functionality. Does not happen with IE, email or Office Suite

FF 5 screen display shifted to the right, leaving left side of screen blank. The full screen option restores the display to normal but the menu bars are no longer visible. Exiting full screen moves the screen to the right another quarter, leaving 3/4 of the screen to the left blank. This only happens with the Firefox browser. Explorer, email and all other applications (Office, i.e.) display correctly.

We have two users on 1 computer tools, history, etc show up on one user screen but not the other how do i fix this

We have one computer in our home and two user accounts, his and hers. On my account at the top of the page I have file, edit, view, history, bookmarks, tools and help.
On the other account it will not show any of those topics. Its very discouraging first its there and than it dissappears so that we cannot find our bookmarks.
How do i remedy this so the same is on both user accounts.
