ITouch syncs calendar one day out

I use a PC and MS Outlook. When syncing the calendar to the iTouch, for some events it either puts the event in one day earlier or shows it occuring over 2 days. When I change it on my iTouch, and then sync, it changes the entries on Outlook (not Express). I have looked thru many discussion boards and cannot find an answer. Anyone out there able to help??? Al

I had a similar experience the other day. It was the first time I was setting my email up in Outlook (I normally use Entourage) and I didn't set my time zone before I synced the calendars. It assigned me to some weird pacific time zone and time-shifted all of my appointments by about 16 hours.
I'd suggest checking to make sure that your iPod and Outlook at both set for the same time zone and then re-sync.

  • Syncing outlook one day out

I have suddenly encountered problems when syncing my outlook with my 3G iphone. Everything is a day out. For example anything entered say for 1st May copies to my iphone for the day before. I have reset my sync history, disabled add ins, checked computer time zones and dates as well as those on the phone are the same and correct and have followed much advice but to no avail - any ideas?

  • Calendar one day out after sync

The calendar on my iPhone has decided to move all my appointments back a day. This has happened recently, but Outlook still shows all the correct information. My date and time settings are all correct as UK and on the right date. How do I either 1. Bring everything to the correct day or 2. Delete the calendar information from the iPhone and then sync again to try to resolve the issue?

I think this probably relates to an iTunes 9.1 update. See this link

  • My birthdays appear one day out in the Calendar!

I've upgraded to an iPhone 4s but my birthdays appear one day out in the Calendar!

The problem seems to be that the iCloud Time Zone overrides your iphone Time Zone.
If you are sure that your phone time zone is correct.
Start iCloud on your computer. Log in with your AppleID and Password.
Click on your name (top righthand side) in the window I suspect it will show Pacific Time in the Time Zone.
If like me you live in New Zealand click on Pacific and in the world map click on New Zealand.
Now New Zealand Standard Time should show in the Time Zone. Click done.
You will now have to change the birthdays again to the right day in Contacts in iCloud or your Phone for the last time.
    Good luck

    Try the following:
    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order

  • My calendar is one day out when synced from iPhone to imac

I have an iPhone 5s.  I have just bought an iMac 21.5inch.
When I connected my iPhone to the iMac to sync it, the calendar events all came over, but they are one day behind.
I am very new to iMac.
If anyone has a suggestion - I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks

    Hi ellie,
Welcome to the Support Communities!  If your iPhone's calendar events are one day behind when synced to your iMac, check the date and time settings on both devices.  Here's how:

Ensure that the version of iOS on your device is up to date.
If the option to enable date and time automatically is available, turn it on. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time.
Ensure that your time zone is set up correctly. Tap Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.
If the incorrect date, time, or time zone is being set up automatically on the device, please notify your cellular provider. In the meantime, tap General > Date & Time and turn off Set Automatically. Then set the appropriate time and time zone manually.

  • Sync dates a day out, cant sync purchased songs, or purchased apps

i have a new ipod touch which i dont wish to connect to internet. i have successfully sync'd photos and music BUT, 2 of my 4 ical calendars show events one day ahead of where they should be on the ipod??? I have checked both timezones, and have correct date/time on both.
Also, i cannot seem to add music that is purchased, nor an app i purchased on the computer from i tunes.
    Help?

OK, after reading lots of this forum & playing about with the ipod i found in Settings>Mail, contacts, Calendars> a setting called time zone support, and because i am in Sydney and it was set to somewhere in the US by default that was the problem. Have changed the zone to Sydney and now it all comes up on the right day.
Still dont know about the apps & music I have purchased though.....

For exapmle if the appt is is on the 25th it show as the 24th on my pre and then every third day after that throwing the dates way off.  Is this happend to anyone else??  Is there a fix??
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

I guess you havethe same problem as me... Check if the calendar you are talking about has a different time zone then your Pre... There is an annoying bug where recurring appointments in calendars that have a timezone before your pre get moved one day... sadly noone seems to be willing to address my bug report...

  • Ical to Ipad one day out!

When I synced my new iPad with iCal on my new MacPro many events were pushed back one day. I don't know which ones are right and which are wrong and it's totally unreliable. How do I fix this?

Do you have Time Zone support enabled with iCal on your new MacPro and if so, do you have the correct time zone selected at System Preferences > Date & Time under the Time Zone tab?
There is also a Time Zone support option with the iPad. Do you have Time Zone support enabled on your iPad and if so, do you have a city selected that is in the correct time zone?

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

  • All day events one day out (early)

    Hi
I sync my iPhone 3GS calendar with my Outlook 2003 calendar and yesterday noticed that any All day events were listed on my iPhone for the day before they are listed on Outlook. I have completely deleted my calendar and restored it (which seems difficult in itself) and completely restored my iPhone as well to no avail. What am I doing wrong and how do I rectify this issue. BTW I have only noticed this in the last week and strangely any all day events prior to this week were correct - I can only presume this is something to do with the clocks going forward here (UK) last weekend?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks
    Nigel

Another one suffering the effects of this, most annoying.
It does seem to be effected by ALL DAY events only.
If i remember rightly, when i updated to the latest version of iTunes, all of my ALL DAY events ended up changing to be spread over 2 days. Initially i thought little of it and made the changes, but it has go worse.
If i create and ALL DAY event on the iPhone, when i sink with Outlook, it shows the all day event as running from 0100hrs on the day i set to 0100hrs the following day, thus spreading the all day event over 2 days.
Definately think this is a day light saving issue affecting people in the UK?
I presume a fix hasn't been found yet, I certainly hope Apple are fixing it.

  • Birthday calendar on iPad  one day early with iOS5

The birthday calendar shows all birthdays one day early after upgrade to iOS5 on original iPad. I have all the automatic time adjustments and location recognition on. What is wrong?

I have read that this is a bug, here is a fix which has worked for me at least for the time being:
Here is a process that worked for me to correct the information in Calendars re birthdays appearing one day out:
    (1) If your iPad/phone is syncing contacts with iCloud, turn it off. In Settings on your iPad/phone, Mail,Contacts,Calendars, Accounts, iCloud, turn off Contacts.
    (2) sync your iPad/phone to iTunes.
    (3) now select the ‘Info’ tab in iTunes for your iPad/iPhone. Ensure that ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ is ticked. (You can revert to syncing with iCloud later, after this process is complete.)
    (4) scroll to the very bottom section of the Info tab. Where it says ‘Replace information on this iPad/iPhone’, select ‘Contacts’.
    (5) Sync again.
Now check Calendars on iPad/iPhone, this process ‘fixes’ the information of birth dates and they should now appear correctly.
Thanks to @fortbailey for this. By the way Steff_BKK, is one of your email accounts an Exchange account? (This has been reported as something to do with this bug.)

  • ICal to Outlook Calendar moves event by one day. Why?

    Hi
If I create an event in Outlook Calandar (2011 for Mac, Sp1) it arrives via Syn Services on the correct day in iCal ......... Great!
    But
If I create an event in iCal it arrives in Outlook calandar one day out .............. Why?
    HELP Please...................
    Rgds

    Hi,
Have you checked that the two applications are set to the same timezone?
Outlook will have a timezone setting in its Prefernces > Calendars. iCal is either set to the timezone in System Preferences > Date & Time  or if you have timezone support set in iCal's > Preferences > Advanced it will be in whatever timezone is shown in the top right of the iCal main window.
    Best wishes

  • Has anyone had a problem with the calendar being one day off this year

the birthdays in my contacts list is shown in my calendar.  However, they are showing up on the calendar one day earlier than the actual birthday.  I assume it's because of leap year.  I'm surprised that I haven't heard of a fix for this.  Thoughts?

I don't have to be doing anything or be anywhere near the computer.
The machine feels warm but i don't know if thats normal or not.
