Itouch will not respond to single touch or scroll touch. I have to double touch the app that has a white box surrounding it. How do I change it back to single touch and scroll?
My son's touch is not resonding to a single touch nor repsonding to a scroll (i cannot go to the next page). there is now a white outlined box around a app that you have to double click on to do anything. How do I get rid of the box and go back to single touch and scroll?
Head to Settings -> General - > Accessibillity and make sure VoiceOver is turned off. You'll have to double tap each of these to proceed. You'll also need to use 3 fingers to scroll as well.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

my ipod has a black screen. When I hold it at an angle i can see the unlock bar and date/time. It will not respond to my touch to unlock it. Any ideas to what is wrong with it?

I receive messages on my iPad, but I cannot send a reply. The send button will not respond to my touch.
It's not that you can't use the subject field, but it is very unreliable when I try to use it. Sometimes the message send button will work and sometimes it won't.
But the biggest reason to turn it off is so that you do not accidentally type your message in the subject field. You can type a subject in that field, but you still have to type the actual message in the space below the subject field. -
The app updates button will not respond to my touch
the updates button shows updates are avaialble but it will not respond to my touch, you can update it by scanning all your purcahsed apps and selecting update but this is long way round..any ideas?
The update server is down for the last few days.

My music screen has frozen and will not respond to my touch
my 32g iPod touch will not respond to my touch while i am in my music library. i can navigate through my iPod and access my apps, calendar, etc., but as soon as i try to get into my music and browse through it, nothing. it has done this before, but it usually "snaps out of it", and eventually begins to work properly. i purchased this iPod brand new in march 2012, so in my opinion it should not be acting up. anyone have any idea as to what is going on with it?

When I connected my iPhone 6 to my iMac to download new photographs they were downloaded in .aae format. How can I change them back to jpg? And how can I get jpg in future?
Sync the apps to the iPod via iTunes. Make sure that the apps are chaec to syc and the proler boxes checked in the Apps pane for the iPod in iTunes.

TS4002 icloud message says needs more storage but is frozen....will not respond to any touching
I have a message stating Not Enough Storage - This ipad cannot be backed up because there is not enough iCloud storage available. You can manage your storage in Settings. It will not respond to touching either "Close or Settings". and the slide will not work to open the ipad to get to the settings. Seems to be frozen....would appreciate any help....

You might try a forced shutdown to begin with, hold down the top and home buttons together until the device shuts down, then restart it. -
I have no idea what happen I just got on my ipad to face time with a friend and I lost my Wi-Fi signal then. My friend called me back on face time and I couldn’t use my Ipad and I don’t know what happened. And I looked it up online to see how to fix this I found an article on apple saying how to fix this problem. So I fallowed the directions and it told me to plug in my device and to restore the IoS software on the iTunes summary pane. Anyways long story short is that I can access my ipad to do this because I have a password on my ipad so I can do this reboot.
So I am going to let my battery run down and see it that fixes the problem.
Conclusion
The main problem I am having is I cannot shut down my ipad because I can’t slide over the shutdown slide.
And I can’t do the recovery software on iTunes because my ipad is locked. And this is my dilemmaFirst Try This...

ITouch will not respond when selecting music Icon
When I press the music or the videos icon, neither open up to display my content. Only a blank screen appears. I have music and video on the iTouch as confirmed with iTunes. I have been using my iTouch for 9 months and for the past month or so this problem keeps reoccurring. After multiple powering off attempts it will usually fix the problem but for the past 24 hours this has not resolved the issue. I have tried reseting all settings and this has not helped either.
Thanks for your help!Just a FYI for others who run into this problem. I ended up using a feature on iTunes to reset my iTouch. That has seemed to eliminate the problem I was having. This was not part of the trouble shooting solutions that I utilized.

my sons ipod says disabled for 22,807,916 min and will not allow me to restore it. on the computer is says that i have to enter his password but the slid to unlock is not even of the screen, HELP!!!!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
