Itouch won't work with my Speaker Dock will streaming Pandora. Is It OS4.0

Help Anyone. I've got 3 speaker docks. As of a couple of weeks ago, all have trouble keeping pandora working from more than one or two songs. Then my Itouch seems to lock up and I can't even play anything from my music library. Once I remove it from the dock, all is back to normal. On my oldest speaker dock I getting something like:" This application does work with this device". It worked for 3 years!!! Why doesn't it work now. HELP!

I had a similar problem....the issue could be fixed in the latest software update release (4.0.2). Download that in iTunes and install it on your iPod and see if that works...

Ipod Classic 80gb won´t work with apple universal dock and remote

I own 2 ipods a 5th generation 60gb and an ipod classic 60gb. I've just bought an apple universal dock with remote and the original apple component and composite AV cables. I connected the universal dock to my TV via the composite cable, with my ipod 5th gen I can watch videos on the TV and control the ipod with the apple remote but when I connect my ipod classic to the universal dock it will charge but I can´t get any video out or control the ipod with the remote. It's as if the ipod classic doesn't recognize the universal dock and it keeps showing the connect the video accessory screen, even when i tried using the apple component AV cable. I dont think the problem is with the universal dock because it works fine with my Ipod video 60gb, but with my Ipod Classic 80gb the remote control and video out won't work at all, i can´t even control the playback of audio playlists. Does anyone know why that is happenning? Please help me!

I have the Classic 80gb also...same probem. I retuned the Apple Universal Dock and purchased one that was half the price. Pluged it in and it works perfectly! So my advice would be to save some money and get products that work.

Firefox 5.0 won't work with mcafee site advisor-will this be fixed soon?

When I downloaded firefox 5.0 it checks for incompatible add on etc. and it deleted mcafee site advisor which shows which web sites are safe to use. I went back to firefox 4.0 because it works with site advisor. I'd like to use the newest form of firefox, but want mcafee site advisor enabled. Will this be fixed?

It will work again if McAfee does a full update...

My iPod Touch (5th Gen)'s cable is having some issues. I can not connect to any computers with it (I've tried two different iMacs, my Macbook Pro, and a car USB port that is used to play music through the car speakers). It used to work intermittently for a while, but now it doesn't work in any situation with computers. However, it will work with various power sources that have a USB port on them, but don't transfer data (A USB battery and a wall adaptor). This is using the AmazonBasics Apple Certified Lightning to USB Cable. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FA4Y66U/) I've had this issue with both iOS 8 and iOS 7, even after completely wiping the iPod.

My IPhone 4S suddenly won't work with my Bose dock

I have two speakers that my phone has always worked on....all of the sudden they will not work. My phone will charge but not play music. They will still play my iPod so I'm fairly sure that its an issue with my actual phone. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Your phone still thinks it is plugged into the stereo. I don't remember how to solve this but perhaps you can search through the forum or maybe one of the members here will jump in on how to switch the playback to speakers.

Scanner won't work with one user but will work with another

Tonight I used my scanner and it worked fine. Then a few minutes later I tried to scan another documentand it wouldn't work. I finally logged off, and switched users (to Administrator) and I was able to use thescanner. I don't know why it works for one user but not the other. (This is very inconvenient.) What do I need to do to fix it?

A couple of questions...
1. Does the unit immediately kernel panic when power from the bus hits the drive?
2. Does it happen in multiple users?
3. If you startup, interrupt the boot process and boot to the startup manager (by holding option on startup) and then plugin the SuperDrive does it kernel panic there as well?
When a peripheral causes a unit to go into this state, there's little that can be done to troubleshoot from a software perspective. Especially if your answer to all three questions above was "yes." You can certainly try resetting the PRAM & SMC, to see if there is any change. But, I think the next best step might be to bring the machine and this optical drive to see a qualified technician.

Makes no sense that FaceTime won't work with 4g when it will through hotspot functionality with a second device????

Why can't I use FaceTime with 4g when I can use the 4g as hotspot and use FaceTime with a second device. This is STUPID, no?

Older model Airport Express won't work with Mountain Lion Airport Utility

just upgraded to Mountain Lion and noticed that of my network of three airport expresses connected to various stereo speaker systems throughout the house, one of the older models won't work with the supplied version of Airport Utility (v 6.1). Here is the message it gives in the utility when I attempt to select this particular Airport Express:
"This version of AirPort Utility doesn't support this base station. Use AirPort Utility 5.6 to configure or manage this base station. AirPort Utility 5.6 is available at AirPort Service and Support."
Well, I go to download v 5.6 and none of the versions available will install on Mountain Lion! (even the version for Lion) Catch 22.
Any resolution to this (other than having to go out and buy a newer version Airport Express)?

Calculator won't work with Snow Leopard

I recently upgraded to snow leopard (mac pro). Now when I try to use my calculator it says the version I have won't work with this version. I have looked for updates but it says I current. Do you know why?

I went into my application file and the updated calculator was in there. Once I moved it onto my dock the caculator works. I assumed it would update automatically when I upgraded my software; now I know. Thanks.

Should be extremely simple, please carefully read Connect multiple displays to your Mac. If you still have problems then it's probably a cable issue that would be resolved by replacing the adapter cable. You should be using this adapter. If you are using a third party adapter that might be your problem!

No. If your MacBook has an Intel processor you can update to OSX 10.6.8 and then install the latest iTunes.
A 5G iPod with iOS 7 requires that if you have a Mac you have OSX 10.6.8 or later.

It says it cannot removed the older version of iTunes.
Doublechecking before proceeding ... what's the precise text of that message, please? (There's a couple of different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)
