ITS 6.20 connect to another client doesn't work

We have an ITS 6.20 .
Glabal service belong the caracteristics of connection to SAP server (login, pasword, client, systemnamme, systemnumber).
I want to connect to another client but all the others parameter stay the same as in global service definition.
The idea I have is to put the client in the URL as parameter but it doesn't work
example of the URL:

The connection doesn't hold in count the client parameter. It is connected with the client of global parameter.
Is there anybody who can help me ?.

Hello Eric,
You'll need to remove the ~client value in the global.srvc file (and service file of the service being called). Than the ~client parameter in the URL should work.

You can't do what you want with iCloud. You will need to setup remote access to your main computer with VPS or some similar remote access application. With VPS you have an application running on your main computer turning it into a server and an client app on your laptop so you can access it remotely. There are many such apps out there, some probably more feature filled than VPS. You might post in the system forum that you're running and ask there.

Help us understand your problem.
What exactly are you trying to copy and paste?
If it's MIDI data from one istrument track in Arrange to another, this should work.
If you're trying to copy settings (ie a particular sound) from one software instrument to another, that's obviously not possible as all AU's (Audio Instruments) have different parameters and are unique, so their settings will only work for each instrument.

when i say download the software from the Apple's website i mean download the software update for mac os x 10.3.9
as once you reinstall panther again it will revise back to the original version of the OS which came along with the computer when you purchased which will cause safari to be incompatible with
so once you do a software update for you operating system it will get it compatible with safari
so to get the update you can download it from the computer you have it burn the update on a CD or DVD and then install it on this computer

The contribute connection I setup for my client doesn't work for him, but it does for me

I setup a Contribute connection for a client (I have Mac OS X 10.4.11). I tested the connection in another computer (a mac on the same network) and it works just fine. However when my client launches the connection in his computer (a pc) it get this error:
"Contribute could not verify your connection key. A network connection to the server could not be establiched. Please contact your administrator for assistance".
I'm the administrator, but it's hard for me to troobleshoot him, becuase the connection works fine for me. He also got a second error message:
"Contribute could not connect because the server is down or not accepting connections. Please contact your administrator."
I told my client to wait and try again later (I have had to do that in the past when setting my own connections, sometimes it works right away, sometimes the server doesn't respond on the spot). However I would like to know if any body else have had these issues and if the problem could be a network connection, and internet connection a mac-pc incompatibility, or.. what else????

So this is a "real" AIM Name (Not an @mac.com or MobileMe valid AIM Name) ?
You can login on an older Mac And presumably Here ?
If you Migrated a User to the new computer you may find you don't have permission to Write to the Keychain and that chaning the Passsowrd is not actually doing anything.
In Lion go to the Finder > GO Menu and hold th ALT key so you can select Library
In the Library open Keychains
Highlight the Login.keychain.
Do a Get Info (CMD (⌘) + i keys together).
At the bottom of the panel that shows should be Permissions and Ownership
Your Account's shortname should be in the list.
You should have Read and Write Permissions (you may need to click the Padlock)
With the padlock Unlocked also click the cogwheel type icon and see if you are listed as "Make (Shortname) the Owner" (it should be greyed out if you already Own the file).
In Applications/Utilities and opening Keychain Access should also list as many entries for the AIM name as you have changed the password for (it creates a new entry rather than changing it)
Check that one of these does hold the right Password. (Delete the others if required)
I know that iCloud created @me.com names will only work in ichat 6 and the Messages Beta due to the way iChat 6 and above login to me.com and AIM so that AIM gets permission to read the password.
I have not heard of this issue the other way round.

EBP/CCM XI Catalog scenario; TCP RFC connection EBP to XI doesn't work

i have configured EBP/CCM <> XI Catalog scenario and when i try to execute the test connection for both TCP RFC connections "INTEGRATION_SERVER_<SID>, PLAIN_HTTP_ADAPTER_<SID>" I receive following "ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED".
Does anybody know the problem? How can I solve this issue?

ODBC data sucessfully connects, but NEXT button doesn't work

In short I have a forum which sucessfully gets the first record from the DataConnection. The problem is I seem to only be able to get the first record and cannot navigate to other records.
I have added a NEXT button, set up for JavaScript, Client, on Click with the common xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.next(); code, however when previewing the form (still within LiveCycle) even though I can sucessfully pull the first record from my table, clicking the 'NEXT' button does nothing at all, not even an error.
Any suggestions on what I am missing?
Other Info:
-I am using a MS Access database (.mdb format) with the Microsoft Access Database driver.
-I tried using both User and System DSN's in windows which I am calling when setting up the Data Connection.
-When configuring my DSN's the tests always succeed (and I can call the first record).
-Setting up the Data Connection in Adobe seems to work and shows all of the possible fields in my table.
-I bind my fields to the form, preview it, and see the first record in my table.
-I can add many types of buttons that work, such as printing, emailing, or changing pages of the form, but anything related to database record navigation is not working.
-I am positive that when I call xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.next() that the 'DataConnection' name is matching exactly my actual Data connection.(seems to be a common problem for people)
-I've followed about 3 different tutorials exactly and they seem easy to go through, but when they add their Next button it works fine. Mine doesn't.
-I've tried starting from a new, blank project as well but cannot change records.
-I've even tried adding or removing the semicolon at the end of: xfa.sourceSet.DataConnection.next();
What am I missing? Is there something potentially wrong with my data connection even though it seems to work?

Today I did some troubleshooting. Instead of using MS Access I set up simple MySQL database with 3 text fields (no auto-incrementing fields). Again I was able to quickly connect my LiveCycle form to the MySQL ODBC data source and display the first record from the table but any buttons with click actions that run and javascript lines beginning with xfa.sourceSet.{Name of my data source in LC here}.* commands do not work at all.
I know my buttons work. I can run some xfa.host.messagebox("blah") commands to test that clicking the buttons triggers the javascript code, it's only the xfa.sourceSet.* lines that aren't working.
Now that I have even changed databases and ODBC drivers, what am I still doing wrong? Once I set up the DataConnection in LiveCycle I am then right clicking on it to select 'Generate fields' or clicking and dragging the fields from my DataConnection to the form. It displays the data, but why can't I work with it.
What am I doing wrong?
I am desperate.

Mac Mail client doesn't work through DSL

We just started using a Verizon DSL connection for our small business. Most things work great -- surfing the web is fast and I can access secure site via browser. For some reason I cannot connect through DSL to get email when I'm using the Mac Mail version 4.4 client. The connection just hangs. I have one pop account and 3 google gmail accounts that I consolidate within the offline client. I luckily have an alternative wifi connection in this building that I can use to get mail, but I need to switch back to our own nework to use the printer and surf at a higher speed.
Our CTO was able to fix it for a day by setting an exception on port 995 -- which is what the mail client uses to retrieve mail.
I know it's realted to Verizon DSL because the same computer works at home via our Verizon Fios service. It's also not an issue with Wifi -- it still doesn't connect when I use a LAN connection directly to the modem.
Please let me know if there are any fixes or work-arounds.

should work on 25 since this part is verizon, but if it doesn't work for whatever reason try 587
sometimes third party mail servers don't play nice, and don't use 587 for their alternate port. like go daddy often uses port 80 for ougoing as an example, your mail server may like 995. I wouldn't worry about your outgoing settings, and instead use the sample configuration above and let us know if it works. PREFERABLY you should delete your account settings and start from scratch.

First thing you need I think is to get your iMac connected to the Internet.
Shut down your iMac and you iPad. Then power off your router. Wait 30 seconds and power up the router.
After the router indicates that it is connected to the Internet then start up your iMac and see if it connects. If the iMac connects to the Internet then your iPad should too.
If this power up sequence doesn't work you'll have to dig into the router setup to make sure it is working properly.

TS1368 When I try to connect to iTunes, it doesn't work and tells me "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. The network connection was reset."

Pdf links inside another Pdf doesn't work

Hi,
I am using Adobe Pdf Reader X(10.1.0). I am creating a PDF with html links embedded in it.
Links to normal files works properly (Like server/idcontent/new/ir.html)
But links to another pdf file doesn't work(Like server/idcontent/new/ir.pdf). When clicked on a .pdf link nothing happens. But where as other links works perfectly.
Can any one help me whether I am missing any setting in my Adobe Reader.

I use the static stub method and generate the web service client with wscompile of the jwsdp. My web service's name is HelloWorld, but it generates several class such as HelloWorld, HelloWorld_Impl, HelloWorldSEIPort, HelloWorldSEI. What's the differences between them. And I want to know what's the type QName is, it's one of the parameters of the registry.setHandlerChain method. Why I have to use QName? And what my service's portName should be. The question was also sent to the users@jwsdp email list and I responded there. Basically, I think the port qnames don't match, so maybe the one passed to the handler registry isn't correct. Without all the code and the wsdl, it's hard to tell. (One note: in jaxrpc 2.0, getting/setting a handler chain for a port that doesn't exist will result in an exception, which may help cut down on problems like this).
My suggestion was to add the handler to the config.xml file since it is a static stub. This is just a simpler way to do it.

Ipad2 has wifi connection but the internet doesn't work

I use my ipad2 at home with the wifi. I have nothing changed but now the internet doesn't work. The ipad shows me the wifi connection but i cannot receive email and the safari doesen't work too.

I've gone to the download page for the Connect add-in, and when I click on the link to download the software, the browser is brought to a corrupted webpage of data. The add-in does not download.

WF initiator in another client does not work

Hi,
I have created my WF and the first step is a user decision (yes/no). In this I use the &_WF_INITIATOR& as the addresse of the WI. It works fine in the development client but not in another client and I wonder why.
When I check the protocol, system is telling me that there´s no agent available which is not true. I see in the container USxxxxxx and I also created an object in the container for passing the user name like USxxxxxxx and nothing. It does not work.
What could the problem be ??

I double-checked the task and it it general. I also checked the log for the step and there´s no WFINITIATOR nor WIACTUAL_AGENT.
In the technical details I see that the workflow´s container has the WFINITIATOR with USxxxxxx and in the next step (user decision) there´s no such information nor WIACTUAL_AGENT. Based on this I corrected my WF for passing WFINITIATOR to WIACTUAL_AGENT in the step (using the data flow).
The above does not work. I see now in the technical details USxxxxxx for WIACTUAL_AGENT in the step but the protocol still tells me that there´s to agent.
Any ideas ??
