ITS enable transaction VF03

Hi,
We are trying to enable transaction VF03 to use thru the ITS.  We copied the program (sapmv60a) and the transaction to z versions.  When starting zvf03 in SAP we get the error message "Selection screen ZSAPMV60A 0101 does not exist".  The documentation behind this error message implies that it does not want to start with screen 101.  Does anyone know what screen it wants to start with or are familiar with this process?
Thanks,
Dawn

Hello Dawn,
Have you tried the ZVF03 transaction in a SAPgui for Windows yet?  If that works then maybe you have copied the programs, but did not create templates??  Creating a template is not necessary.  If you do not create templates though you will get the error described unless you add the following to the ZVF03 service:
~generateDynpro 1
~transaction ZVF03
If you're using the ITS 6.20 then this would go in the zvf03.srvc file.  If you're using the Integrated ITS on 6.40 or 7.00 then this would go in the zvf03 service under "gui configuration" in transaction SICF.

  • Text in table of ITS enabled transaction unreadable

    Hello,
We are on EP 7.0 SP 18
We have ITS enabled transactions via the Portal.
However, for transactions that contain text within a table, it appears unreadable and extremely distorted.
Anyone experience this and any solution for fix will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Sunil,
Is this appearing just for you or for all users?
May be you can try playing with few language attributes in the ITS iView or the reference system.

  • Save Button in ITS enabled transaction ME54N does not appear

    Hello,
We are on EP 7 SP 18.
Via the Universal worklist iview in the Portal when the user clicks on a workitem and desires to reject it via the transaction ME54N, for the rejection to be saved in SAP the save button on transaction ME54N must be clicked.
However, the save button is no where to be seen on the transaction for the user to click. The following parameters are set in ITS as per note 1148291 and 1010519
    ~webgui_icon_toolbar=1
    ~webgui_simple_toolbar=1
also tried various combinations of values for the above parameters but no luck.
Any help on how to get to have the save button appear for the ITS enabled transaction ME54N would be greatly appreciated.

  • MENU item selection does not display drop down in ITS enabled transaction

    Hello,
We are experiencing a strange behavior between two portal env.
    1. DEV.
For example we have transaction MM01 display in the Portal via ITS (integrated). The end user can select the Menu Tab and the System Tab and the drop downs appear as expected.
    2. Prod
Same  scenario as above. Only this time, end user is unable to select the button. The Menu and System Tab dont appear greyed out but selecting it does not display the drop down.
Material, Edit GoTo Defaults are some of the links under the Menu tab for MM01.
Very confusing. And this is the behavior in Prod for all transactions. Any ideas on why this is happening would be greatly appreciated.
The architectural difference is that DEV has no Web Dispatcher versus Prod has the Web Dispatcher.
    We are on EP 7.0
    Many thanks.

Thanks. Now, I realise this may cause dismay to some, but I have now solved the problem, and just wanted to share my experience with those even less savvy than myself. In Dreamweaver, the Spry css styles are arranged with little or no hint as to which style controls what. I found that there is a rule in the sub-menu styles that controls the little graphic arrows which indicate that there are dropdown subs under the tabs. I had removed these arrows to make way for my background images. However, the rules that control their positioning by percentage were still there, causing my images to display incorrectly. Of course, there was no way anyone could have spotted this and helped me as the fault was in the external spry css file, not the page code. So many thanks to vw2ureg for looking anyway. Regarding the page code, which you have flagged up, would you mind elaborating on what you see wrong here? I'm none the wiser. Many thanks again.

Well, I'm not sure how copying a program will avoid the login screen, but it seems like your problem is an R3 problem not ITS.
Many SAP transactions check either or both the transaction name or program name and behave differently based on those factors.
I still think your easiest course will be to stick with the standard transaction.

    Thanks in advance
Any suggestions from experts on how to control these verification fileds on ITS transactions. Also I can not control ITS RF screens upon scanning as to trigger SAVE + NEXT , or COPLETE like we do in the backend transactions.

  • ITS (Internet Transaction Server)

    Good day.
If you have knowledge or materials about ITS (Internet Transaction Server), we need your help.
Your assistance will be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    hi,
Understanding SAP ITS - Internet Transaction Server
The SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) is the essential link between the SAP R/3 system and the Internet. It enables Internet (and Intranet) users to communicate directly between R/3 system to run R/e transactions, remote enabled function modules and reports as Internet applications components. The ITS is one of the cornerstones of SAP's mySAP.com offerings and strategy and integrated into the SAP 6.10 Web Application Server release. The ITS is the key technology behind the following products: Workplace, Employee Self-Service (ESS), Enterprise Buyer Professional (EBP), BW 2.0 Interface, Online Store and Retail Store, and the APO Interface. There are many other SAP products and applications that are based on ITS technology to interface from the Web to SAP R/3.
SAP ITS can handle complementary Web technologies to access data from SAP R/3:
        - SAP GUI for Html: SAP transaction screens are dynamically converted to HTML pages
        - Web transactions: SAP transactions that can be called from an HTML page (template based mode)
        - Web remote function call (RFC): SAP R/3 function module that can be called from an HTML page
        - Web reporting: Mechanism for linking to SAP reports and regenerated lists from an HTML page. Web reporting is implemented as a special-case RFC.
        - ITS Flow Logic: Events, statuses, and modes used to model the dialog logic of a Web application in "flow files" on the SAP ITS.
SAP R/3 data is accessed via BAPI or RFC. Access to external data providers is also possible.
SAP's Internet applications are known as Internet Application Components (IAC) or Easy Web Transactions (EWT). Both are complete business solutions that allow Internet and Intranet users to access business information in the SAP R/3 system by starting transactions, function modules, and reports from a Web browser. All IACs or EWTs are based on a common infrastructure consisting of two essential components.
SAP Internet Transaction Server (ITS) - The ITS is the interface between the Internet and R/3 and is the runtime engine that links Web server to the R/3 Application server.
ABAP workbench tool - Web Application Builder and/or SAP@Web Studio - WAB is an R/3 ABAP workbench tool and SAP@Web Studio is a PC tool for creating, modifying and managing all ITS objects on which IACs or EWTs are based. These objects include service files, HTML Templates and HTRC language resource files.
The ITS solution to developing Internet applications is based on the premise that there is already a suitable business application solution, which has a stock of transactions, function modules and reports, as well as its own integrated development environment. All that is needed to enable Internet users to access and run these applications is an interface to the Internet. Apart from the general advantages derived from making SAP R/3 business information available over the internet, the ITS solution has many benefits.
    These include:
Ease of development - Programmers can develop IACsEWTs using a business application system (R/3), development environment (ABAP Workbench) and a programming language (ABAP), with which they are already familiar. There is also integrated data dictionary support from the ABAP Dictionary and appropriate transaction handling.
Ease of deployment - The ITS solution supports internationalization of applications.
Ease of use - ITS based IACs and EWTs have the same look and feel as any other Web site.
The separation of programming tasks from the visual design aspects is desirable, because both require different skills. In the ITS scenario, the ABAP programmer develops the application in ABAP using the ABAP Workbench in the SAP R/3 system and the user interface specialist handles the design and navigation aspects of the application with design languages like HTML and SAP's HTML Business in either the SAP@Web studio or ABAP Workbench tool, Web Application Builder.
The aim is to create applications that send documents back to the Web browser client in plain HTML format, since this format can be handled by all major browsers. This is important in an environment like the Internet where there is often little control you can exert over client software such as Web browsers. Fit can be controlled; you can also use Dynamic HTML, Java applets, JavaScript, and VBScript in you HTML templates, because the script language is transparent to the ITS.
    Thanks,

  • Restriction in Output on transaction VF03 - Display Billing Document

    Hi Experts,
Is there any way to restrict the Output on transaction Display Billing Document, I mean, on transaction VF03 and after you select a Billing document (Document number), go to Billing Document -> Issue Output to. This is because we currently have an Output Selection with two message types and what we need is to restrict one of the message types for a group of persons.
Can this be restricted using authorizations? Is there any way to restrict this?
I made some tests using system trace (ST01) but I couldn't find the way to restrict this.
    Can somebody help please?
    Best Regards,
    Erik Espinosa

The message types are invoice forms.
We have implemented an electronic invoice schema in our organization, and now when you want to print an invoice the system gives you two options for printing a document. Each of the options are message types that manage certain values and put them in a print form, so what we want to do is that only managers can access to option1 and the rest of the organization can access option2.
This means that when managers try to print the invoice using option2 the system won't let them. They only will print invoices from option1.
I tried to look for an authorization object in order to try to force the restriction with it, but I couldn't find one.
This objects are called output types and what we need to do is restricting the use of the output types based on values for option1 and option 2 using Z roles.
    Regards,
    Erik

  • Adding screen to transaction vf03

Hi,all i want to add a custom subscreen to the 6th tab of the transaction vf03 when header information button is pressed. In this screen i want some addition fields of dbase table VBRK. how to do this. plz tell

    HI,
Screen exits refer to areas of a main screen reserved by SAP developers for customers to design their own screens as customer exits. In these areas you can display/ enter your own data.
The subscreen screen is called in the processing logic of the main screen with the instruction ‘Call CUSTOMER-SUBSCREEN’. This call is inactive and will be skipped when the screen is processed until the customer has activated the relative enhancement screen.
Example : we will be working with the enhancement ‘MM06E005’ it has several screen exits but we will be working with the first screen  ‘SAPMM06E’ screen no ‘101’ which will be calling the sub screen ‘SAPLXM06’ screen no ‘101’ which is not existing and has to be created.
Points to be noted while coding
    1) the global data of the calling module pool is not known to the function groups belonging to the subscreen.
    2) The function modules belonging to the program exists lie in the same function group as the subscreen screen.

  • Where is the URL defined for web enabled transactions / PFCG execute?

    Hi
One of our developers is having an issue. Apparently, when executing a web enabled transaction from within PFCG (in the menu structure right-click and choose u2018executeu2019) the Internet Explorer on the client is started with a url to:  http://www-s1pprint.ourcompany.com/sap/bc/webdynpro/.... which is incorrect (note our system SID is S3D but it was copied from S1P, however, what is the 'print' part??)
When testing the exact same service from SICF it is working well and goes to the correct URL http://www.esd3002a.ourcompany.com/ etc, so the reference must come from another source. We'e checked parameters in SM59, RZ10 and SMICM so far and can't find anything relevant.
    Where is this set?
    Thanks
    Ross

What's the content of the parameter
    icm/host_name_full
    (check using RZ11).
Does this return the proper full qualified hostname? If yes,  check the hosts file and/or DNS of the server whether the IP resolves to the proper name and vice versa.

  • External Facing Portal with access to ITS via Transaction Iview

    Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to make the portal available externally for third party vendors to access ECC transactions.  We have configured a URL with a reverse proxy to the portal server.  Portal loads fine from outside the network, but when launching a transaction I-view, a page cannot be displayed error comes up in IE-8 and Chrome says it cannot access the ECC server.
I've searched the forums and come up with a couple of tips, but that brings on a couple more questions.
It seems you can direct traffic from external URL to portal server:port, but when launching an transaction I-view, it needs to be redirected again to the ECC server:port/sap/bc/gui* (or something like that for SICF GUI service).  Question here is, once this redirect happens, technically the ECC box is now available externally vs. only the portal?  Is this recommended?
Other option I've found is to try and use IAC I-views instead.  Is this really much different than a transaction i-view in how portal handles the opening Iframe?  Does it allow backend connectios without rerouting internet traffic to the backend server?
Are they any other options to make this type of setup work for external facing portals using transaction iviews to access ITS?
    Thanks for the help!

    Hi
Did you able to resolve the issue. We have installed Web Dispatcher through we are able to call the EP but when calling the transaction iViews page not found error pops up, since from EP server request to ECC goes via the URL http://<ecchost.domain>.:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=100.
    Thanks

  • Configure ITS for Transaction Launcher

    Hi friends
Can any one help me to configure the ITS ?
    Regards
    Pulkit Agrawal

    Hi Raghu Ram
In order to call an transaction from ECC, you should choose the logical system of the ECC System itself. You will get the information regarding the logical name assigned to your ECC System using the tcode SM59. The logical system must have been defined for the ECC System before you integrated CRM to backend ECC.
Check the tcode SM59 and you will find logical name of your ECC System there.
And yes, you are suppose to use the existing ECC logical system, which is mapped with SAP CRM system.
    Hope this helps

  • Your transaction date is earlier than its parent transaction

    Hi,
WE just upgraded from 11 to 12 and when our end-user goes in to receiving transactions he get's a message: Your transaction date is earlier than it's parent transaction. Cause: You tried to enter a transaction date that is earlier then the parent trandaction date. In R11.5.10.2 we would get a message but it would allow us to hit OK. This only happens when you try to "accept" something that was "received" the same day. If the user goes in and sets the transaction date with minutes and seconds, they do not receive this message.
Is there some way to get it to prompt the way it did in 11.5.10.2 where we could continue on?
    Thanks!
