The strange thing is, i never got an email confirmation from verizon. I had to check everthing my self by calling *611, and going to the status page. then it updated. Then i got the fedex tracking number from the verizon web page, and then went to the fedex web page and did it all my self.

Way to add substance there roaming. They're available on Amazon now, under 20.

Hello. I've been able to play sound without problems through headphones or external speakers to date - the output always switched to these automatically until today. Now, sound output continues through internal speakers even if I plug in headphones or external speakers.
- I tested the headphones and speakers on other devices: they work fine.
- When I plug in headphones or speakers into the audio output port (I have verified that I'm not using the input jack) the devices are not detected and are not listed under the output tab in system preferences-sound.
I concluded from this that I probably had a problem with the audio port, so to test that I tried the following. I plugged a powered multi-USB device with ports for microphone line-in and headphone line-out into the USB port and switched it on. I verified that it was working by plugging a USB stick into the multi-USB device - this was recognised successfully, so the device was clearly working. I then plugged in headphones and speakers into the audio line-out on the multi USB device - but still no sound came through them (and tey were not listed among output devices) and the Mac continued using internal speakers.
What should I do? Does the latter test suggest that the problem does not lie with the audio port, or is my test not conclusive? What would you advise?

Working time page in ESS not displaying the way I configured in SPRO.

In SPRO I have assigned service EMPLOYEE_WORKTIME_Proxyworktime05 to subarea record working time.
Now instead of showing the link to record working time and its text description as done in SPRO my portal is showing two links under record working time 1.Record working time(no text) 2 Release working time (no text).
In my development portal everthing is working fine but in QA its behaving the way mentioned above.I have done same configuration for both.
Please help me resolve it.

hi, is it safe to turn the volume all the way up on Itunes, and have my IMAC volume all the way up as well?
The thing is, I never noticed any distortion coming from the speakers on my computer until I recently imported a smashing pumpkins song. And well, for some reason i can hear a slight "rumble" Distortion on the bass end of things.
I thought maybe its just the way it was recorded, you know with distortion, lol.
But , ive also noticed it on a Sigur ros song as well.
On any of these songs if you turn the volume very , very low and listen carefully you can still hear the distortion.
So I might have answered my own question regerding the distortion, but then again
what about turning the volume completetly up on an imac.
Is it under warrnaty , if im just playing mp3s thru itunes oon my internal speakers?

If you only hear the odd sound on a couple of songs, I doubt your speakers are damaged.
Songs are recorded in different ways. Some have distortion purposely. By playing these types of recordings too loudly, I would imagine it would be bad on your speakers.
Common sense dictates if turning it up sounds bad or seems to be stressing the speakers, it shouldn't be played that loud. The range of the volume control is there to compensate for different recording levels, not only to show you how far you can turn the knob.

Some f___ing program change my FireFox home page which was set-up just the way I work and the way I like. I once wrote down the URL so if this happened again I could just type it in and then drag the URL over to the little house and it would restore my page. Now I can't find the URL, its bee so long since I used and now I'm stuck. I have lost all my items as I had them set-up. Any help in finding that old URL would be most appreciated.

Was this a customized Google or Yahoo page?
You can check the History (History > Show All History) and possibly the cache (about:cache) to see if some page looks familiar.

When not touching any sound buttons, it goes all the way up to full on its own? please help!?

When just holding the phone (Not touching any buttons) It will turn the volume up all the way on its own and the "ringer" picture will not go away until I hold down the ( - ) button. about 5 seconds later it will re-appear and the ringer will be turned up all the way again. Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.

I can insert images in gmail. However, I cannot insert a screen capture on one computer when I can on another. So I think its the way I have Firefox setup...but I don't know how to change it.

In gmail I enabled insert images. I can now copy/paste an image....but not a screen capture. I'm using the same process to capture the screen shot and paste as I do in Word. It works on one computer...but not another.

Move the cursor to the very top of the screen, maybe push up a bit. The main menubar should then appear. All the way to the right should be a bright blue icon - click it, and the Safari window should revert to 'normal' size.
Pressing Command-Control-F should accomplish the same thing.
Once it is back to normal size, click and hold on the top portion of the Safari window and drag to left or right to place it where you want it to be. Once you leave it there, the next time you open Safari it should open its window in normal size at that place.
If you need to re-size the window a bit, you can click-and-hold on the bottom-right corner of the window and drag to resize it.

Do other devices connect to the same wifi router?
Have you tried powering off and then back on the router?
Did you connect before OK?
Have you reset the iPod?

I uptaded my ipod recently to ios 5 i have a 3rd/4th gen and wanted to use i message its all fine until i go to send a message it goes about 90% of the way and just doesnt send comes up delivery failed same as facetime wont conect with the otherperson

In a word, yes. In a little more detail.... When you restore from an iCloud backup, you must erase the device and start all over again. There is no other way to access the backup in iCloud without erasing the device. Consequently, you are starting all over again. Therefore, it would also be my assumption that Pages and Numbers will work again and that the deleting apps issues would be fixed as well.
If the documents are not in the backup, and you do not have a backup elsewhere, the documents could be gone forever.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Thanks. We want visitors to browse through our historical photos in any of the ways iPhoto will allow them, including slide shows, but also searching for photos by key word and viewing them along with the comments we have entered on that photo.
I was beginning to think iPhoto had no capability to limit users to certain functions.
I wonder if the use of Apple's sharing files function would help. I have read that it is possible to share files with others, and to limit their use to viewing only, but I don't know how to do this.
