Its saying i have a harddisk prob
everytime i start up my mp3 player (nomad jukebox zen extra) it goes into rescue mode... and when i select one of the options such as (reload os) it says harddisk error what do i do? do i just send it in for support?

I turned the unit off and then as I turned it back on by reset as it was going on I gently banged the bottom until it came back on. One time and it worked. THANK YOU. AMAZING. Marvin

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

Look at the back of the iPod. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. The 2nd generation iPod touch is model A1288, and 3rd generation iPod touch is model A1318. If you have a second-generation iPod touch, the last release of iOS is can run is 4.2.1.

i have a Iphone 3G, and want to upgrade it to IOS 5, but itunes upgrades say i have the current iphone version 4.2.1. I use ITUNES 10.5.1 which it says on apple is the itunes to download IOS but now what, i eel like iv gone through all the tutorial pages and forums but nothing about not being able to actually pick it up, I feel my phone is way out of date iv tried to restore it to see if it would then pick up a new upload, but still nothing...............Please help meYour headline says iPhone 3GS, but your text says 3G.

i use to have facebook, facebook messenger on my ipod touch, and recently i upgraded to ios and now it wont let me reinstall the apps, says i need to upgrade to atleast ios 6, but it wont let me ugrade to ios 6 says it has no upgrades, that the current version is the newest!!! this is crap... how can something work and then now it doesnt work when its suppose to be improved??

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists. -
so recently i wanted to load my friends music onto my phone because my laptop broke and i had no other way to get my music. i loged out of my itunes so the music could load without any problems. i tryed to so an update on the softwear today and my phone says i need to conncect to itunes, but when i try the only option is to restore it! that would mean all my things on my phone GONE. please help i cant live without a phone for long but i dont want to have to restore it. pleaseee please tell me somone can help.
The problem is your friend's music does not belong to you. It is owned by your friend.
I'm afraid you cannot do what you are trying to do. Restoring the iPhone is what you would have to do.
In the future, put your music on the computer and transfer it to the iPhone, not the other way. -
I think I have a Harddisk prob
I got my zen sleek as a gift and have been trying to re-install the firmware about 20 times. Still I get "Firmware Problem", this last time my Sleek displayed "Harddisk Problem". I reset and now the hard dri've is making this strange sound like the heads are not touching the hard disk and they player gets stuck on the Creative or Zen Sleek screen. I don't know what to do but think I have a HD problem.

To restore to factory setting/new iPod:
- Go to Settings>general>Reset>Erase all content and setting and then setup as new
- Connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes

i am very upset with this. in september i got an android phone so my itunes account was untouched till today. I had a lot of music that i loved and i would like to be able to listen to it via itunes on my laptop. when i signed in, i went to purchased and it said nothing has been purchased! obviously apple has changed the setup but my friends who have had itunes this whole time dont have this problem. Please help get my music back. i dont think I'll continue using apple products if they are going to do something like this and waste my money

You are looking in the wrong place for your purchased items - it is a bit confusing. The Purchased option under the Library only shows items you have purchased on that device.
To find your entire set of Purchased items, click on the iTunes Store. Once you have the Store opened, click on the Music tab, and then click on Purchased under Quick Links on the right.
You will then see a screen that has several tabs - Music, Movies, Books, Apps, etc. Click on the Music Tab, then click on All Songs. On the top of the screen, click on All. You will then see a list of all your purchased songs. Any that are not currently downloaded to the computer you are on will have a little cloud next to them.
You can click on each cloud selectively to download music, or you can click on Download All at the bottom of the screen.
