Hi,
Maintain the following settings
1. RZ10 parameters:
login/system_client = <default client>
icm/host_name_full=<hostname>.<domain_name>.com
icm/server_port_o= PROT=HTTP,PORT=8000
2. maintain the fqdn on the server host file as well as your machine.
3. in your IE, set the proxy settings to bypass this address.
4. SPRO settings
maintain logical system and assign logical system to your client
5. TWPURLSVR
go to sm30 --> table twpurlsvr and create new entry for your logical system
web server = fqdn:<port_number> of server as maintained in rz10 and hostfile
protocol = http
bsp server = fqdn:<port_number> of server as maintained in rz10 and hostfile
protocol = http
6. activate sicf services
Go to SICF and activate the following nodes:
/sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb
/sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc
/sap/bc/bsp/sap/system
/sap/public
/sap/public/bsp
If it is dev, you can activate all nodes.
7. finally go to smicm . --> goto -- services and ensure that http service is running, note the port number.
make sure this same port number you have maintained in SM30

How to use Web Filters methodology with Internal ITS with NW2004s

ITS 6.2 will no longer be supported going forward with the upcoming NW2004s. Only internal ITS will be supported with 2004s. However, since PAS APIs are not available with Internal ITS, Can any one give some clue on how we can use the Web Filters methodology for use with Internal ITS with 2004s.

A long time ago, but yesterday i have had time to try again to setup the MacMini server properly. But no luck.
sudo changeip -checkhostname
gives me:
Primary address          = 192.168.1.** (i don't know it's save enough to put this IP complete on the net)
Current HostName      = server.beeldenstorm.be
The DNS hostname is not available, please repair DNS and re-run this tool.
dirserv:success           = "success"
So their is something wrong. But how to repair the DNS?
MacMini server is working properly on our local network, but outside not. I have done the port forwarding.
Another problem is that i have read that for the server to work properly we have to use fix IP address.
So, that's what i am doing. But in that way their is no internet connection at all.
So, no updates and ... .
Lookup and Ping test, outside our local network:

Why is this so irritating and are there soo many problems on forums?
I know: because most of us are not network/server specialists.

ITS with large fonts

We are using ITS to display some R/3 transactions. One of the requirements is that it works correctly with both large and small fonts (as a user preference in Windows settings, not css).
With large fonts, often the strings are cut - so not all characters fit.
Is there a fix for this? We need it to either ignore the user settings (and just display the transaction identically in all browsers) or -better- adjust the widths so everything fits, even if that means having scroll bars.

We fixed the problem ourselves by modifying the styles. It's not a real fix since we are just using the same size regardless of the users' setting (ie we override it) but it's definitely better than having missing characters.

ITS with WEB AS6.40

Installed WEB AS6.40. So ITS should have been installed along with this ? Is there any steps to check if ITS is installed properly or not ? I guess if ITS is installed IACOR would have come by default which would have 2 RFC Destinations by default. By I am not seeing any RFC Destination for IACOR. Kindly help

If you installed WAS6.40, ITS is integrated (ie. no additional install). That said, there are limitations and I would suggest reading the SAP help files about intergrated vs. external ITS.

IACOR is used when installing ITS externally. It allows R/3 to "know" where all your ITS instances are when you are publishing services out to ITS. For example, you configure IACOR to know where your ITS instances (Wgate and Agate sides also) all "live". Then R/3 simple talks to IACOR when publishing and IACOR handles putting things in the right place, so to speak. In this way, you can add,move,change,etc the location of ITS instances without having to configure it in R/3. Make sense?

Nokia N8 - More than 7 Days its with care center w...

Nokia N8 is one of the worst handset I have ever had... I was the one who was promoting this device to everyone before launch and after launch but this Nokia people have screwed me.. with a week of purchase my handset was continuously resta...rting for a minimum 30-40 times in a day.. I took it to care center and they flashed it but nothing worked..
Later they told they need to send the handset to Delhi Head Office, which was sent on 27th And nothing happened till now, Its just revert is going on is shown from last 4 days..
I wont entertain this kind of service, I would move towards a legal action on this as I have a Job Sheet which says Target Deadline for handset is 25th of October and today is 2nd Nov..

You can't trust programs to give you an accurate indicator of what is too hot for the computer. It is more important what your ambient room temperature and humidity is and how that compares with specs:

The official temperature reading on the sensor that the software measures has no corresponding guide as to what is too hot and what is not. If your machine is experiencing any ill effects, I would run the hardware test which came with it as described here:

Printing Issue from ITS with a Reverse Proxy Configured

Hi experts,
We have an enterprise portal landscape which can be accessed from the internet. The URLs are mapped using apache server as a reverse proxy. Also, we have configured the reverse proxy settings for accessing R/3 systems.
When the users try to take the print out from the ITS Web GUI accessed through the enterprise portal, the page redirects itself to an only internally resolvable host name of the R/3 ITS.
Due to this issue, users are not able to take prints from internet.
I would like to know if there is any way by which i can change this to my externally resolvable reverse proxy host address, which in turn can be mapped internally to the original host name at the reverse proxy level.
Can any one help me out in this?

Expose module pool application to ITS with HTML Images

I am facing issue while exposing my module pool application to ITS.
I have splitting container and HTML images in Tab strip. When I expose same to ITS, Its not displaying any HTML image tab however its displaying rest of screen element. I have to show the screen in ITS as it is in module pool. help me to resolve if anyone faced same kind of issue.

SSO to SAP R3 thru ITS 6.20 with Logon tickets

Hi All,
I am trying to configure SSO to R3 thru ITS with the Logon Tickets.
I have configured R3 to accept the tickets using STRUSTSSO2.
Downloaded the verify.der file from Portal and imported to R3
And tried to test the System connection.
If I use SAP GUI for Windows,the logon ticket is passed and SSO happens
with out any problem.
But If I use SAP GUI for html,then ITS Logon screen appears and once I
enter the user id and password it logs in.
In ITS global.srvc file I have added the following parameter
~mysapcomusesso2cookie 1
I also have the following parameters in the global.srvc file
~login <space>
~password <space>
Do I need to configure any thing more in ITS.
Where am I going wrong.
I have read regarding Pluggable Authentication Service(PAS).Is this mandatory for SSO thru ITS
Please let me know
I am working on EP6 SP14

Hi,
IWithin System definition of R/3 System, you've to give the FQDN of ITS just same as Portal system. For example if your Portal system's FQDN is below:
http://portal.hedehode.com:50000/irj
then the ITS Server definition (parameter ITS Hostname) must be:
itsserver.hedehode.com:port
for portal to resolve itsserver.hedehode.com host, you may need to enter its IP address into hosts (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) file of portal system.
<ip> itsserver.hedehode.com

But when I run the ITS service for the report and choose file download option it displays a page saying "this page has been diaplayed due to technical reasons" with title "File properties". In addition it looks for Java runtime in the browser. After all this it opens a popup window for selecting path and file name.
This is not user friendly and many customers have rasied their concerns on it.
My question is that,
Q1: What is the need of this "File properties page"? Why ITS calls this while ABAP editor does not?
Q2: Is there any way we can suppress this so that it directly opens a popup window for selecting path and file name?
Please help me.

But they are still not processed invisible for the users.
Are there any additional parameters, which controls this behaviour(~webgui_updown_make_visible is not used!)?
How can i check, if i have really a.ex. the actual ws.jar-file or other related files of the patch?
We are using the standalone ITS with an own (modified) IAC with an own CI-design for the webpages. The intermediate screens are displayed with the "normal" SAPGUI-design because of the parameter ~generatedynpro. Without this it does not work, because the template SAPLSIT_0100 is missing!
Or do you have an example for such a intermediate template with the applet for an upload of a file?

Still having problem with downloading to excel two ITs

Three things I have to do are:
- to have leading zeros in excel - (wich I solved with DBF filetype - >> is there any other way ?) ,
- to append two internal tables one after another (to have them in one excel sheet), (did it calling two times FM )
- finally to download them in one excel sheet .
(Note, two internal tables are different ) .
I used WS_DOWNLOAD wich works fine with DBF filetype ,
BUT can not append two ITs with DBF filetype .
When using GUI_DOWNLOAD append works fine
BUT does not supports DBF filetype .
Which FM is best to acomplish these three things together using ONE FM ???

I allready tryied to use GUI_DOWNLOAD but it did not help
Gives me error Invalid type
