ITSM View Changes after Creating Follow On / From Template Transaction

Hi,
When i try to create new service request from template, I get my standard view of service request instead of my custom view, with different mandatory fields. and this prevents me raising the service request from template as I haven't kept few fields as mandatory, and creates lots of problem.
Can you please help me on this

*This specially happens when working in Nopepad/TextPad ...in the Schema declaration (At the top 2-3 Lines) of "config.xml" file some Spaces or Special Characters OR a Line Break occurs gets included...*

New Virtual hard disk wizard hangs after creating new vhd from huper-v manager on windows 7

New Virtual hard disk wizard hangs after creating new vhd from huper-v manager on windows 7 workstation.
Windows 2008r2 hosts the hyper-v server. I can create VMs and VHD's when connecting to the server locally with the hyper-v manager.
The issue arises when I try to connect to the hyper-v server from my workstation which runs windows 7.
I have installed The Windows6.1-KB958830-x64-RefreshPkg.msu that was suggested for windows 7 sp1.
I can connect to the hyper-v server, create vm's but I cannot create vhd's the gui just hangs with no errors in event log or on screen.
The files are there on the hyper-v hard drive but i suspect they are just created by windows as they are written and are not valid.

I've had just the same solution. Both did Hang Fixed size and flexible.
Two parts were taken:
1 - KB939820 for Windows 2003 server based domain controllers
2 - disable using IPv6 on your NIC
Result - both types of VHD's are created normaly.

Error in creating the Domain from template in WLS 10.3.2

Hi All,
I am using WLS 10.3.2 and I need to create a domain from the template of my existing domain.
I followed these steps while creating my existing domain:
I chose these 2 while creating my existing domain
** WebLogic Portal - 10.3.2.0*
** Weblogic Portal Collaboration Repository - 10.3.2.0 [wlportal_10.3]*
after Test JDBC Data Sources step where all my tests fail and in the next step
Run Database Scripts: here I am running the Scripts by clicking on Run Scripts button and I get the message Database Load Successful!
everything goes fine and my domain works fine.
Now I am trying to create the domain template based on this domain which I created.
After this step I am trying to create a new domain from the newly created template. I follow the steps given and at the end
Creating Domain: Here it shows the progress and once it reaches 100% it displays the info in a popup window saying CFGFWK-60600: Before booting this domain, it is necessary to run the SQL file located at C:\bea\user_projects\domains\base_domain\security\SQLAuthenticator.sql in order to initialize a domain security admin user in the database.
I assume this message is because while creating the domain from template I did not get the step Run Database Scripts and that is why I get that msg at the end.
So I executed the create_db.cmd file wich is in domain home now I get the msg

Create bid invit. from template in two different ways has different consequ

Hi everybody
"Create bid invit. from template in two different ways has different consequuences"
When I create a bid invitation from a previous template, from the template search results (Icon_create SAPLBBP_BID_INV 1010) my bid is published but then stay in the model search and the status is wating for approval. But no workflow started in BBP_PD.
If I use the same template for creating a new bid from the detail using the create bid invitation button, the bid invitation is created correctly.
I have configured the two events for the BUS2200 object and both of them have an initial condition.
It seems that the two actions trigger different events or something like that
Does anybody why it is occurring this and how I could link the workflow without approval for this case.

i want to create task (Create related incident from template ) to allow them to Select new form
It should use the custom form also when creating incident based on a template. There must be something wrong with your implementation. Can you provide some screenshots of what it is you are doing so that there is no confusion in that regard?

BUG: Advanced Actions duplicated when creating NEW PROJECTS FROM TEMPLATE using Adobe Captivate 8.

Need: CREATE NEW PROJECTS FROM TEMPLATE using Adobe Captivate 8.
Problem: NEW PROJECT (.cptx) duplicates the Advanced Actions originally configured within TEMPLATE FILE (.cpt.).
For example: Template file (.cptl) advanced action "_initializeModule" gets duplicated as "_initializeModule1", "_initializeModule2", "_initializeModule3" within NEW PROJECT. FYI, the original "_initializeModule" advanced action still appears.
MAJOR BUG, what the heck is going on?!?!!! Planning to deploy this template file to use for multiple courses with multiple users, this WILL cause epic confusion across the board.

Similar problem, think they are working on it as well: when dragging a shared action from an external library to a slide or object event, and that action is using a parameter that was already created for another shared action, there will be a new parameter created which really screws up the shared action contrary to this problem. Tip: for the moment do not drag shared actions from an external library immediately to an event, but drag them first to the Library: Reuse Shared Actions in other Projects - Captivate 7 vs. 8 - Captivate blog

We had also faced same problem in our organization 2 years back. Then I have change the screenlayout of ME52N as follows.
SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing - > Purchase Requistion -> Define screeen layout at document level -> Create new entry ME52N by coping ME52. Then goto qty & price field, tick the Qty field as display.
Due to this changes in PR Qty in ME52N will not be possible. If any change in PR QTY before creation of PO has to be done then user has to delete that line item in ME52N & create new line item in same PR.
This development is successful at our end.

Folder view changes after saving file

After a while, whenever I choose a starting folder in a save dialog, where the folder view is Columns, the folder view changes to that view in Finder as well, but I want it to stay in List view, while brows in the save dialog in Columns view.
How can I make sure, that whichever folder I choose from the save dialog, it's view never changed from List to Columns view, (regardless wether I choose Column view, or it opened already in that view) without changing each and every folder preference individually?

Every time you resave a JPEG, information is lost. How much depends upon the degree of compression - more compression, more loss, smaller file.
A one off save is probably insignifincant. The fact that the file size changes is unsurprising. PSE probably does its compression a bit differently from the camera.

Sale Order Status Change after delivery of materials from projects

have ETO sccenario which consists of all modules such as SD,PS.PP etc. Materials will be procured from external vendors & manufactured inhouse through project systems. After delivery of materials from project systems, billing & invoicing will be done at sales level.
On delivery of materials from projects, sale order status remain open. Request you to look into the matter & suggest about status change of sale order after delivery / billing.

In sale order, WBSE is assigned. Delivery of materials are through cns0. then subsequently picking / packing / billing will happen at sales level. Billing is of delivery related. Please suggest to fix the issue.

Error in creating invoice list from VF21 transaction

i am craetin a sales order fro VA01 transaction and for the perticular sales order number I am generating the billing document number.when I take this number and try to create a invoice list from vf21 transaction,it gives an error message as no invoice list can be created.and the processing status of the document becomes invalid.
what can be the reasons?plz sugges....

Can not create new page from template

I have been working on a new site for the last couple of
weeks and have created several pages using a basic template.
All of the child pages of this template still update when
changes are made to it, however I can no long create new children
from this template.
Any ideas as to what the problem might be.

my guess is that you are opening the .dwt template file and
doing a "Save
As". That page is not a "child" page of the template.

from list in right, pick This Template
make sure x is in box to Update if template changes

Create new page from template

I created a page, and saved it as a template. I want to
create a new page from the template (creating more pages for the
same website). When I select file > new > page from template,
the list contains <no sites>.
How do I get the page and / or template I already created to
be in a "site" so it shows up on the list. Couldn't find this in
the help file.

So where is the correct location?
I created the folder for this site when I first created the
html page. This is the folder I mentioned. This site folder was
created inside the Documents folder, I believe by default.
As I mentioned, on the first try, I just let it save the
template to this same site folder, which is what it suggested by
default, and it has been there ever since.
I only created my own "templates" folder as an experiment
after your first suggestion. I have now renamed it "Templates"
(upper case T) and the template is still not found with File >
New> Page from Template.
Sorry I am not sure if I understand exactly what you mean by
"A folder in the root of the "local site folder"". Is this the same
as or different from the site folder I created and saved the html,
css, and image files to? (which is in Documents) If different,
where can I find it?
I searched my system for ALL folders named Templates, and
found none that I believe could be associated with DW. Is this in
appdata or hidden location?

After creating a form from an existing document, viewing it in Adobe Reader for Android only shows the form fields, and not the document behind it.

Using an existing PDF file to create an editable form that I can update on my tablet as I go, but when I open the file on my tablet (using Adobe Reader for Android), it only shows the blue editable fields that I've created, but not the actual form that's supposed to be behind it. However, it views properly on my PC. Am I not saving it out correctly?

Photoshop cs4 color changes after I save it from psd to jpg

I have used cs2 for years and just got cs4 and I always work on my pictures in raw then save them as psd then open them in photoshop and work on them and save as jpg for printing.
I can't seem to be able to do how I used to.
I open the picturte in raw and fix the color until it looks good, then open it in photoshop and it still looks good and I save it as jpg then the whole thing goes down hill here I view it in Windows live gallery and the color is all off, its way over concentrated and looks red and jsut way different then it did in photoshop and thats how it prints too.
Any idea what it can be?
Why soon as I save it as jpg the image looks so different.
Please help, I'm working on clients pictures and don't seem to be able to save them so they are right.

okay I see that this is getting little more complicated.
So now I see it isn't anything with windows.
I do edit the picture in raw and it looks good and save it as psd then when I open it in photoshop it looks right and if I select view-proof colors then it comes out with that crazy color as it will look after I save it.
So going from raw where i edit it looks good then after I save it even if I save it there as jpg and open on photoshop it alway changes when it is checked on proof color.
Is anyone on here that know whay this is happening? how do I make the pictures stay the same after I edit them in raw?
