ITune US Account with foreign CC?

(Sorry, I couldn't find a more appropriate section for my question).
Hi everyone,
I have a US iTunes account. I'm currently working overseas and would like to change my payment credit card to a local one - Saudi Arabia.
If I change my credit card to the Saudi credit card, will that change my account from a US to a Saudi store account?
If yes, what will happen to the apps I've already purchased/downloaded that are exclusive to the US iTunes store?
Thanks a lot for your help,
David

Hi David,
May I ask why you want to use a local CC instead? Well I mean I am in the same situation. I opened my iTS account in England with a UK CC and then moved over to Cameroon for work. I still maintain my UK CC and do my purchases on the iTS normally. I do have a CC issued here in Cameroon but for starters, they have no dedicated iTS. I would advice to simply maintain your US card (you could maintain a card with a relatively small balance as this may be easier to manage) and do your purchases normally as every time you open the iTS, it'll automatically take you to the US store. Plus I do not get charged extra as if this was an overseas transaction.

  • Can I use my iTunes Store account with more than one PC ?

    Hi all,
Am I able to use my iTunes Store account with more than one PC ?
I use my account on my PC - but I would like to download the latest version of iTunes onto my Mum's laptop, log in to my own iTunes Store account and rent a movie for her to download onto the laptop.
Is this possible and would I still be able to use my account on my PC at the same time?
    Many thanks,
    Steve.

    Good question.
I don't think you can--if I'm incorrect, someone will tell me--but it seems to me to be easier to simply open an iTunes account for your mom. Then get her a gift card, load it into iTunes for her, and rent a movie that way. Not elegant at all...but workable.

  • I recently forgot the password for my iTunes UK account with 100 pounds of credit. I called apple and said no one could help me if I did not know the security questions. Really?

I recently forgot the password for my iTunes UK account with 100 pounds of credit. I called apple and said no one could help me if I did not know the security questions. Really? This company that pretty much can do anything is not able to tell me what the password is?
Any help i appreciated!!!! what doe aApple do with all the unclaimed money from lost or forgotten accounts?
    Jeffrey

For a forgotten password: go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com; click' See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'.
For forgotten security questions log in at http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Password and Security' in the sidebar. There should be a link in the Security Questions section to send the answers to an email you have specified. Failing this, go to https://getsupport.apple.com click 'See all products and services', then 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID', then 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'.

  • How many different Apple TVs can I share one iTunes Store account with?

I currently have one AppleTV at my home, and one at my mothers home. We both share the same iTunes Store account, therefore we share the movies that each other purchase. I am interested in getting my father and my aunt and Apple TV as well, I want them to also be able to use my iTunes Store account. That way, if say my father and I both want to watch the same movie, we can split the cost.
I also currently own an iPhone, and an iPad. I'm going to be getting my mother and father iPads as well. I want them to be able to use my iTunes Store account on those devices as well, and be able to stream movies on them.
I know it says that your iTunes Store account can only be associated with 10 devices, but I'm wondering where Apple TVs fit into that stance. It's probably a stupid question, but I was just curious if the fact that it is iCloud changes anything.
Essentially, I'm wondering if four Apple TVs, three iPads, one iPhone, and my one desktop computer can all stream my iCloud movie content, simultaneously. I doubt there will ever be more than two or three going simultaneously, but I just want to know the limitations before I buy these gifts for my family members and run into an unpleasant surprise.
    Thank you for your time,
    Charles

as many as you can other computers with itunes accessing the shared ituned lib
likely the limitation is the network bandwidth more then number of connected devices

  • Changing iTunes Store accounts with Automatic Downloads

I use my Mac Mini at home as my media server/HTPC, and contains my iTunes library.  I want to copy all my music to my MacBook Air for work, as my internet at work is too slow for iTunes Match to work effectively.  Therefore, I was going to set Automatic Downloads for music on both Macs so that they would stay in sync.
However, I have both an Australian iTunes store account and an old UK one, which I still use to download BBC TV programmes from.  According to the Apple KB though:
"Once a device or computer is associated with your Apple ID, you cannot associate that device or computer with another Apple ID for 90 days."
Does this mean that I can't change the store from AU to UK for 90 days?  Or is the Apple ID you use in the store different to the device's Apple ID?

I'm having this problem too (except with from Japan to US)! Did you ever get a solution? I don' want to create a new account because I want to keep all of my purchases.

  • Merge iTunes Store Account with MobileMe Account?

If I try to change my UID to my MobileMe account ID in the iTunes Store, I get a message saying I can't, and that I need to re-sign-in using my MobileMe account ID. However, when I do this, none of the permissions or authorizations are attached to the new account and I need to authorize my purchases using the old account info.
Is there any way to merge my old iTunes Store account into my MobileMe account?

  • Can I create an iTunes Store account with a MasterCard debit card?

I know I can create an iTubes Store or Mac App Store account wihout entering billing info from this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2534.
But what if I want to use an existing Apple ID with iTunes Store or Mac App Store like this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2589.
The article says, and I've confirmed it by checking, that credit card billing info is required.
Can a MasterCard or Visa debit card be used instead?
I know debit cards have been sort of removed from illegible payment methods for the iTunes Store. But I'm only using the debit card for account creation. Will it work?
Just answer my question. Don't ask me to try myself.

There have been a number of posts recently about debit cards being declined, and they are not listed on this page as a valid payment method, so I don't think that they are still accepted.

  • So I have a Itunes Australian account with match and want a USA account

    Hi All,
I have an Aussie Itunes account and I have now moved to the USA. I want to change my country so I can download apps for work but it tells me I have to cancel my match account. It is not due to expire till Jan 2015. I dont want to wait that long and would like to find a way not to lose my apps and and music from home as I have banking apps and things on my phone. Anyone have any advise??

How to Change Country with iTunes Match
FYI, you will need to repurchase some apps from the US store. You will no longer be able to update apps on your iOS devices from the US store.

  • New to itunes - starting account with no credit card

I've just downloaded itunes as the place I want to get my music from is currently not available in Canada, but itunes wont let me even add anything to a wishlist without attaching a credit card to the account.
I never intended to use a credit card (nor do I have one, and have no plans to get one again), I was going to buy an itunes card to make my music purchases but this little roadblock in my account setting up proccess has made me weary.
I don't want to buy an itunes card (non refundable) until I know for sure I can use it on this account without attaching a credit card. If I add an itunes card in that step will it accept that or still beg for a credit card?
I'm not comfortable with ANY site requiring credit cards to start an account.
I don't want apps or games - I don't want anything like that - I only with to buy music to play on my Zune.
I'm sorry if this is a repeated question, I couldn't find an answer anywhere.
Hopefully someone can help me out.
    Thanks.

  • HT2731 i live in Cambodia. can i set up an itunes store account with my information in my country? such as my address, phone number, ...?

why need me to key in phone number in USA? I live in Cambodia.

FYI, you've posted to the iTunes Match forum, which your question really isn't related to.
But, the answer to your question is no. To set up an account in a regional iTunes Store the person must have a credit card drawn on a local bank and an address in the local country to create the account. The Terms of Service of the stores also prevent someone from living in one country and using another store.

  • Asset account with foreign currecy fluctuations

    hi gurus
any body can you please provide the solution to this issue
how will we add foreign currency fluctuation losses to the asset APC value
i)what is the impact of that before dep run
ii)if we added foreign currency losses after dep run what are the implication would involve
    thank you

NOrmally the Vendor or the Foreign Currency loan will be revalued and not the Fixed asset. There is no funcltionality to post the currency fluctuation to the asset.
Depreciation run condiders the base method mentioned in the depreciation key. Hence the APC value at the depreciation run will be considered, whether increased or reduced.

  • Set up itunes account with two different credit cards

Is it possible to set up an existing iTunes Store Account with two different credit cards?
I am currently registered with a personal card but wish to make one purchase for work (Lion OS) using a company credit card.
many other sites let you choose what card to pay from, multiple addresses, etc. but I don't see any options from apple site.
for this purchase I am considering:
    1. going into the "edit payment information".
    2. editing all the info related to the company card and address.
    3. completing the purchase and download
    4. going back to the payment info and putting back my original personal informaton.
there must be an easier way -- or is this the only apple offering.
    any advice appeciated. TIA.

    the_0ne wrote:
but this discussion is clearly for people that have multiple accounts because they have multiple credit cards.
    This is incorrect.
It is very clearly for people with a single iTunes account and they want to use multiple credit cards for purchases on that single iTunes account.
If I had one iTunes account with multiple credit cards registered (which again, is what this discussion is in reference to),
Huh? You just wrote it was NOT that.
I bought Lion through my company, which means I logged into the App Store with my company's credentials, of which I have my company credit card registered.
You mean your company paid for it. You are simply the one who did the purchasing using company funds.
I now have a new iMac of which I want to install Lion.  Apple allows you to install this same install multiple times on your own personal machines.  I had to remember which account I bought Lion on so that I logged into the App Store correctly.  If I would have logged into my new iMac with my personal account, I would have then bought Lion again, of which I didn't want to do.
But you did not purchase Lion with your personal account. It was purchased on your business account.
If you want Lion on your persona/home computers, you will need to purchase it.
I also wanted to install iPhoto.  I bought iPhoto on my personal account.  I had to then log out of the app store from my company account and log back in using my personal account to install iPhoto or I would have just bought iPhoto with my company's credit card, of which I would have been in a good amount of trouble.
Imagine if I bought 3 or 4 apps a week and these apps were scattered across my business account and my personal account.  Each time I wanted to install these apps on one of my multiple machines in my  house, I would have to remember which account I bought the app on. or go to my purchases or which there could possibly be dozens of apps in each account.
I would hope that your company requires you to track purchases you have made with their money.
And I would think that you would want to keep track of all business purchases so you can get reimbursed (for the purchases you made on their behalf). If/when you leave the company, they can get company owned software that you purchased with their funds.

  • Switching iphone user accounts with itunes

Both my parent got iphones. My mom set up her account on her computer using my dad's email and info. So my Dad cannot set up his account on his computer. How do I go about removing one account, creating a new one for my mom, and then setting up my dad's account on his computer?
They are both running a pc with windows Vista

    Hi,
They can use the the iTunes Store account on all four of the devices. If you want to change it for one computer and iPhone, just sign-in to the iTunes Store and sync the iPhone.
iTunes syncs the Store account thats currently signed-in. This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311 provides more detailed information.
This article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731 will walk you through creating a new iTunes Store account with a credit card.
