ITunes 10.5.0.142 - Which one is the correct music folder?

Hi Apple,
You are driving me nuts with iTunes. Everytime I update my iTunes my music looses the link to the actual music files. Now again for the 10th time with iTunes 10.5.
My internal harddisk is way too small for all my music, movies, podcasts etc. so I have to have everything on an external harddisk. In iTunes I point my library to this harddisk.
Everytime I update iTunes you apparently are coming up with a new structure so I keep loosing the reference and you also seems to force iTunes to only look on the C drive. Please STOP! It's a really big hassle and I waste so many hours on reorganising my music librrary. I already spent hours on playlists, ratings, musci covers etc. so don't make it worse than it is and please let me not loose all that work on my precious music.
So please once and for all explain to me how to not to loose my reference to my external harddisk and also explain to me in which folder you would now like my music to be in?

\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\ or
\My Music\iTunes\iTunes Music\Music or
somewhere else??
Please also explain to me the correct content of the other folders? Where should my music covers be, iTunes Music Library.xml, iTunes Library.itl, iTunes Library Extras.itdb etc etc.

Deleting on one device does not affect another device.
You can delete the App's on the iPhone and nothing will happen to the ones on the iPad.

2. Settings->Cellular->"Use Cellular Data For" will show the data usage for each App since the last statistics reset
3. Settings->General->Background App Refresh Will show which Apps are allowed to get data in the background
4. It restricts it to Wifi. If the App requires internet access and Data is turned off, it will have to wait until the device is connected to a wifi network.
5. Nope, You just use up battery since the BT radio will continuously look for nearby BT devices.
6. The Personal Hotspot uses your cellular internet connection from your phone or other cellular device; whether you consider that secure or not I cannot say. It also depends on what you are doing while connected to the Hotel's wifi. I would not do online banking while on vacation though.

I just got a new computer. I loaded itunes and it found the wrong music folder. I have tried to drag and drop all of the music into the folder it found, but it somehow did not work. I cannot find all of my old playlists and a lot of the music i had. What do i do?

OS 10.1MR - 10.1.0.4160 or .4181. Which one is the correct one?

Hi - yesterday I received the update notification that a new OS version *.4160 is available from my carrier (Optus Australia).
I downloaded and installed but but aside from the white calendar (which I hate) and the Unread shortcut in the hub, I didn't see any changes.
Today, I got again an update notification - that 10.1.0.4181 is available.
Why do I receive so shortly two updates? And what has changed from *.4160 to *.4181?
Right now, I don't see the need to upgrade the Q10 as the update seems more focussed on the Z10.
Any thoughts? Comments?

Both of these versions are the correct updates for Optus Australia. The latest version is 10.1.0.4181. There could of been minor fixes or customizations options, each network service provider has their own unique BlackBerry device software.

Itunes 8.0.1 won't install to the correct destination folder

After installing Itunes to the hard drive (I've tried this on both my laptop's hard drive as well as an external hard drive), the destination folder points to the CD Rom drive and won't let you change it.
Help?! I've tried installing three different times, both from the upgrade as well as from the direct website.

I've done that, and it still won't save to teh correct file. It disregards where I want the file saved, and saves it to the E drive, which is my cd rom drive. Then, of course, it won't save to the CD rom drive, becuase there's no memory there.

Without providing details on exactly what you did it is hard to provide an answer. It's like me saying, "This chocolate cake I made tastes wrong," but not providing the recipe for review. Maybe it was the garlic in that particular recipe.
If iTunes is successfully using a previous library which you rename to iTunes Library.itl then that is now the current library.
Have you restarted your computer and then tried emptying the trash?

You can access the repeat options if you right-click on the shuffle icon or if menus are enabled you can use
Controls > Repeat > Off | All | One.
Once the control is visible you can click it to switch between states as before. If the control is turned to off it disappears on the next track change. In contrast the shuffle control remains visible whenever it is appropriate. Hopefully the next release will fix this.
The bottom one should do it.

Adobe Cloud has 2 different Muse programs.... how do I know which one is the newer better version?

So I am new to Muse, and my Adobe Cloud has 2 different programs from Muse... how do I know which one is the newer better version?
One Must program (Muse CC 2014.2) has a black background when working on it... it looks like other Adobe programs such as Photoshop.
The other one is light color (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on functions.....
One of the difference I notice is that the light color Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black background Muse seems to have an empty library
So... why are there 2 different Muse programs in my Adobe Cloud?

The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

By your question, I am wondering if you are playing your music from the iTunes app rather than the Music app?
In the Music App, you can go to any of the options at the bottom and click on a song to play and it will then continue to play the songs in that category. You can also select "Shuffle" to shuffle them.
As for your Photos, did you have them backed up anywhere?

I followed all of the instructions to move the .dll's to the desktop, I removed iTunes via the control panel, and now I can't get past the Service 'Apple Mobile Divice failed to start. Verify that you have sufficent privilidges to start systems services. I now have no iTunes on my laptop, can't reinstall iTunes, and I am pulling my hair out because I can not figure out how to send an e-mail to Apple because I bought my iPad just over a year ago. PLEASE HELP!!!

Only you can make that determination. All things being equal the 2.5 GHz model is slower.
