iTunes (10.5.2.11) locks up when trying to download from iTunes U site Madingley Lectures. The problem is repeatable on two different PCs running the same version of iTunes. I never previously had problems downloading presentations from this site. Any ideas?
Both PCs are running Windows 7 fully up to date with patches.

I successfully downloaded the latest edition by going to the Store area. It took around 10 minutes. iTunes behaved fine and indicated the progress of the download.
However when I try to download another lecture via the iTunes U option within iTunes, the software freezes.
There is no progress bar and I can't change focus within iTunes. The only option I have is to kill the process from the Task Manager.
The lockup occurs almost immediately after I click on the Get button.
In previous months the downloads worked fine.

Consistent 8007 error when trying to download from iTunes / App Store on my iMac.
Hi I get a consistent 8007 error when trying to download on my iMac. Yet can download and it works fine via Apple TV. I'm also having issues downloading on the App Store. I've checked the date and time, firewall and everything else seems to be fine. I can't uninstall iTunes as am running OSX 10.8.4 and am not tech confident enough to run this via terminal. Help!
I tried switching off Apple tv and when reconnected after 30 sec. Or so, it continued downloading

I downloaded an album I purhcased a few days ago but one of the album's songs did not download. I received an error message, #499, for which I can get no explanation or interpretation of what error #499 even is (other than generic terms). All my efforts to re-start the download have failed. I've tried several times to download the file to no avail, tried the cloud service to no avail, and re-started the computer to no avail.
My main intention is to, of course, get the download completed. My secondary intention is to, hopefully, bring to the attention of Apple - iTunes staff, the grossly inadequate, dare I say cryptic, error message descriptions iTunes displays.

I keep getting the message "error 8003", while trying to download a pre-purshased TV show from iTunes. What does it mean? What should I do?
Help!Have you tried exiting iTunes and restarting? The times I've seen this error this has worked. After restarting iTunes the program asks me to sign into my account and then the downloads begin.

Safari often locks up when trying to load from a certain site
Certain pages in my county government website cause safari to lock up. I pretty much have this problem only on the county website and only on certain pages. Happens regardless of pop-up blocker status or cookie acceptance. Any suggestions?
Ok.... in that case, boot from your install disc. Run Disk Utility in case there are errors on the startup disk that need repairing.
Insert your install disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
(In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first from the installer menu)
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. *Make sure there is always 10% to 15% free disk space* -

Trying to download from iTunes and when I clicked on the Sync button, it indicates that it is waiting to sync. Then it comes back saying sync failed. What is the problem ?

are you using windows or mac?
what version of itunes are you using?
have you EVER been able to successfully sync with itunes?
what iOS version are you running on your phone?

Able to install the .ipa signed with distribution certificate using iTunes on MacBook Pro. where as the when tried to install using iTune on PC is causing a problem
The sound input going to the mic is not going to pipe through the speakers like that. It doesn't do it because it would cause a feedback loop on itself. The mic input will take sound and output it to a program or to another pathway (like a VoIP or Facetime call, etc.) but it won't behave like a Karaoke machine if that's what you're thinking.

EXPERIENCED THIS DURING FALL OF 2012 AND HAD NO SATISFACTION AND AFTER A PERIOD OF 4-6 WEEKS TRIED AGAIN AND ALL WAS CORRECTED SOMEHOW. LAST PURCHASE WAS DEC 28TH 2012. It means you do not have enough Space on your Device and need to create More Space on Your Device by Deleting some items off your device. -
