ITunes 10.5.2 not loading files from computer

Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem. Ever since I upgraded iTunes to 10.5.2 I haven't been able to load new music files from my computer. I choose the files from Add To Library as usual but nothing gets loaded to iTunes. Any fixes or suggestions out there?

I got it to work now ...
-Unistall the current iTunes on your computer.
- go to http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1427
-Go all the way down the page and download the iTunes through the given link
----------Download for iTunes 10.4.1 for Windows  (64 - bit) here:  iTunes 10.4.1 for Windows 64-bit.
-Once downloaded if a message window pops up with a message "the file itunes library.itl cannot be read"
Just go to My documents-> Music folder -> iTunes folder -> delete library.itl if existing or add it if it doesn't exist.
it worked for me so I believe that it should

    2. Today I setup a Computer B, since Computer A is being retired. On Computer B I went to Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced and changed the iTunes Media folder location to be the folder on the external HD from step 1 and checked 'Keep iTunes Media folder organized'.     I was hoping that these steps would automagically make the contents in the folder appear in iTunes on Computer B, but no such luck.
    I am hoping I am missing some easy step.

    Make sure that the structure of the iTunes library on your external drive looks like this:
    Ideally, the iTunes folder should be in the root of the external drive - however, the key factors are that:
    the iTunes folder includes the iTunes database - the iTunes Library.itl file that you should have copied from computer A.
    the iTunes Media folder is contained within this iTunes folder
    all your music, movies, podcasts, audiobooks, etc. are contained within the iTunes Media folder.

    Assuming your external drive conforms to these principles, connect it to computer B, hold down the SHIFT key while you start iTunes; when you see this prompt:
    click on Choose Library... then navigate to the iTunes folder on your external drive, select the iTunes Library.itl file, and click Open.

  • Itunes locks up when syncing .pdf files from computer to ipad

    When transfering .pdf files from PC to iPad, sync locks up.

    After you open the Apps tab in iTunes, select Adobe Reader from the list of apps on the bottom list. On the right, you will be allowed to "add" files. Just drag and drop files onto that box and then hit sync. The next time you fire up Adobe Reader on your iPad, the files would be there for you.

  • Can not copy files from computer to external hard drive

    Have tried to copy thru drag and drop and also by edit copy files to folder ... I even tried copy of the files and paste but get the same error message which is in a little box that says Error copying file or folder Cannot copy file: and a OK button.
    How can I get the folder to copy?

    Please assist I am on a Windows 7 64 bit machine I have VS 2010 and have been fighting with this new program that I was brought on to help with - Issue is that I am unable to get rid of this issue. There is so many solutions but none have worked. If someone can give me some help with what has worked for you.

    This is a SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition of SSRS.
    I am getting this error when navigating to http://servername/Reports. The reports site was working fine, until I installed a SQL 2014 Developer instance (including SSRS) on the same server.
    I can still get to the http://servername/ReportServer site.
    Neither of these are using Sharepoint.
    Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    "The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference." is generally caused by the loaded assembly's version is different than the expected version application refers to.
    In this case, it should be caused by:
    While starting Report Manager, the backend process ReportingServiceService need to load assemblies it refers to
    ReportingServiceService reads the compilation/assemblies element from web.config(under Report Manager virtual patch)
    If the compilation/assemblies is not existing, ReportingServiceService loads all assemblies from Bin folder. It can be verified from call stack System.Web.Configuration.CompilationSection.LoadAllAssembliesFromAppDomainBinDirectory(). ReportingServiceService
    uses System.Reflection.Assembly.Load with the assemblies' name only to load assemblies.
    The Assembly.Load tries to load from the specify assembly by name from GAC at first. If it is found from GAC, it won't be loaded from Bin folder any more.
    Since Reporting Service SharePoint Integration mode is installed, a same assembly of 'Microsoft.ReportingServices.SharePoint.ObjectModel' with different version might be installed to the GAC. That causes the error "The located assembly's manifest definition
    does not match the assembly reference."

  • What do i do when Itunes says "Itunes could not load data from sync services  reconnect or try again later

    Hi, just recently when I attemted synced my ipod touch 5th generation, i got a message saying
    "Itunes could not load data from sync services  reconnect or try again later
    I am running the latest version on itunes (not quiet sure which specific one)
    I am running ios 6.1   my ipod is not jail broken
    don't know what to do
    I then cleard the message and my ipod showed up and began to sync
    however it is staying at the backing up stage for 12 hours
    Not sure what to do help!

    Yes plugin is written using C++ and that plugin is connecting with MyApp. Previously the plugin was working fine while the connection WCF service was in .net version 3.5 but on change of .net version to v4.5 is throwing the exception. This wcf service developed on C#.

    Please try below methods:
    1.remove all references ending with .FAKES (including the Microsoft.QualityTools.Testing.Fakes.dll reference).
    2.removed the FAKES folder
    3.Cleaned solution
    4.Then readded all references back in.

    I keep getting the above message.  I tried many many many things ( roll back drivers, uninstall, BIOS etc) before I finally decided to reset my HP to factory settings and start over again...and I STILL am receiving this message!!!  from what I can tell it is from ATI Catalyst Install Manager.. Please help!
    This all started because I was trying to update the MediaSmart TV tuner and then ALL sorts of things went wrong such as Windows installer stopped working and I could not uninstall programs that were suddenly giving me problems such as itunes and quicktime, ATI etc.
    Thanks so much for any info that you can provide that wil help me.   As I said, I have completely started all over again, from factory settings, and I still have this message,
    Also, I cannot uninstall Nortons that comes factory loaded from the factory.  When I try to uninstall, I receive a message that says the there is another installer running, but I do not have an installer running,

    Please press Ctrl + Shift + ESC Keys on the Keyboard at a time, it opens Task manager Window.
    Click Processes tab above.
    Select the check box at the bottom 'Show Processes from all users'.
    Find 'MSIEXEC.EXE' in Image Name Column, select it, and click End Process.
    Uninstall Norton from Programs abnd Features.
    1) uninstall Graphics Drivers
    2) uninstall all versions of .NET Framework and restart
    .NET Framework Cleanup Tool:

    Click Yes to run the Installation Cleanup Utility.
    Read the Microsoft Software License Agreement for Unreleased Microsoft Software, and then click Yes.

    I have a web site developed with vs 2010 (32-bit) and crystal report 13 (for sv 2010). It's working well i when crystal report installed in gac. I need to this app on a server WITHOUT crystal report installed. so I copied all required crystal assemblies into the bin folder and publish it. I always get following error message

    Stick with x86 or x64, not Any CPU.
    Don't include log4net manually

  • HT4623 I updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 7.0.2 and iBooks will not load anything from the Store and Safari keeps crashing

    I updated my iPhone 5S to iOS 7.0.2 and iBooks will not load anything from the Store- I cannot search or even view my purchases.
    Also Safari keeps crashing. I have shut down the phone and restarted it twice and that hasn't helped. Any ideas?

    This was all working yesterday, but this morning, I cannot run in the dev fabric, or even setting the website project as a startup project directly, I get the following error:

    Note that the dev machine is x64 Win7.
    I have not tried deploying this to staging since the issue started as I'm a bit nervous of touching the staging/live environment until this is solved.
    Removing the PlatformTarget element from the project file has no effect
    Removing the msshrtmi.dll file from the bin directory of the website project ends up with 
    'Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.WindowsFabric.Common, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified'
    I have used Git to revert to the last working build to no effect (But I don't have the obj/bin folders in GIT), but it has atleast reset the project files etc.
    If I return msshrtmi.dll to the bin folder and switch the model and website projects to x64 there is no change
    If I switch both to x86 then I get an error Could not load file or assembly 'BekoModel2011' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format.
    which is the model project - presumably because to run on my x64 machine I need the 64bit version?
    I really need to be able to debug and then publish some changes ASAP.

    Is it true that you're using IIS to host the application? Could you check whether the process is x64 or x86 one via task manager or config in IIS manager?

    I started getting this error message for the first time today. When I look in the event log I see it every time anyone tries to sync to a mobile device to the exchange server. I've also had this problem trying to connect using
    Outlook. I believe it is an IIS issue but I'm not absolutely sure so I'm posting this in the Exchange forum as well.

    I have tried most, if not all, of the different post's suggestions to no avail.
    The steps I have taken are as follows...
    1. Repaired .Net 4 (Both the client and extended)
    2. Uninstalled and reinstalled .Net Framework 4.0.
    3. Verified that the dll exists.
    4. Checked the applicationHost.config file. It contains the follow statement...

    7. Went to inetpub\history to use an applicationHost.config file from yesterday but it only has history from 9PM tonight. It probably had what I needed before I started changing it tonight.
    I still receive the same error message.
    Like I said everything was working yesterday. In fact I didn't hear or see any issue until after 1PM today.

    Please confirm whether users can access their mailboxes from Outlook Web Access or not. We can do the following changes to have a try:
    1. In IIS > Application Pools, change the .NET Framework Version to v2.0 and restart IIS service.
    2. If it doesn’t work, explore the Default Web site.
    3. Renamed the web.config file to web.config.old
    4. Reset IIS using iisreset command to have a try.
