Itunes 10.5 entry point not found error
Just tried to update to 10.5
getting this error
"The procedure entry point AVCFAssetCreateWithByeStreamAndOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dl
Then when I click ok another window pops up that says
"iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 127)
I tried reinstalling, did not work.
Hmmm. Roy B has some advice on that one in the following post:

ITunes Helper.exe - Entry point not found error after upgrade
I just tried to install the latest iTunes software for Windows on two separate PCs running XP Pro SP3 and get the same error on both PCs at every windows startup: iTunes Helper.exe - Entry point not found. The procedure entry point sqlite3preparev2 could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll. Is this a known issue with a fix?

After installing the current version of iTunes, I get an AppleSyncNotifier.exe - Entry Point Not Found error. It says "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll." Kindly advice a process to get rid of this error, without losing my files on the iTunes.
Hi, I get the same error EVERY time iTunes updates.
I have to do the fix that is suggested in this topic (cut and paste the sqlite3.dll)
My Question:
Since this happens every time iTunes updates...... Do I have to remove SQlite3.dll from the "apple application support" folder....... so that the sqlite3.dll is only located in the "mobile device support" folder?????
It is getting really annoying to have to do the "cut and paste" fix every time iTunes updates.
Thank You,
Steve -
I was stupid enough to try to update my iTunes, I have troubles every single time i've tried to do this. In the past I've been able to fix it using the support forum, not this time. So now I'm getting Entry Point not found error:
The procedure entry point ADiAdID_AcquireMatchSlotIfNecessary could not be located in the dynamic link library iAdCore.dll
I've uninstalled, and reinstalled MULTIPLE times. Removed all apple related components, ran as administrator, repaier .net frame etc etc etc....
Still get this error when opening itunes. And after I close that error, I receive Error 7 - itunes was not installed correctly....please reinstall.
WHY is this ALWAYS such a pain? Andriod phone here I come...See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
Try the repair tip in the third box first.

I just installed Itunes 10.5 and restarted the computer. Now when I try to open Itunes is says Entry point not found. The procedure entry point AVCFAssetCreateWithByteStreamAndOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundation.dll. I have tried to reinstall and repair Itunes 3 times and I still get the same prompt when I try to open up Itunes. Can anyone help me fix this please?
Thank you in advance.I hope this is of some help to you as I found it when trying to solve my own problems with 10.5
"Taken at face value, you've got a damaged Apple Application Support program file, balda. (iTunes needs a properly functioning Apple Application Support in order to work correctly.
On a 32-bit Windows 7 system, I'd try the following set of instructions:"

When I open iTunes, I get a message saying under iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found, it says, The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQLite3.dll. And I'm not talking about the AppleSyncNotifier.exe. Along with that, I get the message saying, "iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall i Tunes." Error 7 (Windows Error 127). That's why I'm unable to open iTunes. I sure hope to see a solution to those problems soon.
I know I've mentioned this before, but I've now given a little more info to make my explanation more clear.Try this one from Article TS3074

THe error box says procedure entry point not found....then a string of code that "could not be located in the SoftwareUpdateFiles.dll".
I'm try to update my software so I can sync my iPhone with my current iTunes library.
any help greatly appreciated.Let's first try a repair install of your Apple Software Update.
In your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select Apple Software Update, click "Change" and then click "Repair".
Does the repair go through okay? If so, try another iTunes update. Does it install properly this time? -

Help! Another "Entry Point Not Found" Error
Hello,
I purchased iPhone 4 earlier this week and went to synch it last night. Apple Updates updated and crashed several times, now iTunes won't even start. I already had it set up for my iPod, my iPad, and a prior iPhone, so just plugged my new iPhone in and went to town. iTunes did update all my apps before I used Apple Update. I was trying to get the OS updates for both my iPhone and iPad, but now it doesn't work. I tried downloading iTunes again and running the fix and it didn't work. I am runing Windows 7 64-bit.
Here is my error message:
iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point
kCMByteStreamNotification_AvailableLengthChanged could not be
located in the dynamic link library CoreMedia.dll
Then a second dialog box pops up that says:
iTunes
Itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows error 127)
Please help!
Thanks, SeanHi vladdy007,
Please upgrade your OS to Win XP SP3. This would fix the problem. The minimum spec for running AI CS6 is Win XP SP3.
Thanks and Regards,

Hello,
I just tried opening Itunes for the first time in a month or so and it said I needed to download an update with 11.5 (it seems) and quicktime. After running the update I get the following error message.
iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point
?videoTracks@QTMovie@@QBE?AV?$Vector@V?$RefPtr@VQTTrack@@@***@@$0A@VCrashOnOverf low@2@@***@@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support\WebKit.dll.
Then the next pop up is
iTunes
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows error 127)
I have tried to remove itunes and followed a couple other things I have found on these boards with no different outcomes.I'm having the same problem. I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times now and still have the same issue. Were you able to figure it out?

Applephotostreams.exe entry point not found error
In the last several weeks I've been receiving the following error message upon startup of my Windows 7 PC:
applephotostreams.exe entry point not found
I've tried searching for similar error messages on the web and in this forum without finding a solution. I'm also receiving a similar error message for ubd.exe on startup as well. Any suggestions for repairing this problem would be appreciated.A quick search on Google suggests this problem is associated with FlyakiteMacosX plug in.
Do you have that installed on your computer?
If so, have a look at this web page . -
Gwdca.exe - Entry Point Not Found Error With Hot Patch 4
We've upgraded a few of our GroupWise 8 clients from 8.0.3 Hot Patch 3 to 8.0.3 Hot Patch 4 to address the critical security vulnerability in HP3. We receive the following error message (attached) every few minutes which seems to be related to the archving process.
Receiving gwdca.exe - entry point not found
The procedure entry point DAGetLinkedObjectParent could not be located in the dnyamic link library sccda.dll
When the error appears, it seems to correlate to the "Updating Archive Quickfinder Indexes" appearing in the bottom left corner of the GW client. Backreving the client to 8.0.3 HP 3 resolves the problem. We have tried running GW Check on the mailbox as well as forcing a reindex of the archive without any success. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks
