ITunes 10.6.1 not available?

Why when I tried to download iTunes 10.6.1. from your web, get iTunes 10.6.0.40? Is there any reason why version 10.6.1 is not available?

Could you walk us through what happens when you try to download the 10.6.1.7 version, please?

1 - See this backup tip.
2 & 3 - If you are refering to device backups see your other thread. If you want multiple snaphots of the iTunes library then the tool in 1. above can be used for that too. Create multiple backup pairs with different destinations and operate them in rotation.

ITunes music store is not available in your region

I live in Jersey, Channel Islands and I am trying to create a music store account.
However, I am getting an error message after I submit my details: "The iTunes Music Store is not available in your region"
My ID shows the country as UK.
Can anyone help?

Sorry, but there is no iTunes Music Store for the Channel Islands. Though the Channel Islands are nominally under the auspices of the UK, legally they're separate entities, so the UK licenses for the iTunes Music Store don't apply and the record companies will prevent Apple from allowing you to purchase. Unless you have a legal residence in the UK (or some other country) and have a credit card with a billing address in that country, then you're out of luck, at least for now.

How can I paste album artwork onto iTunes album that is not available on iTunes. I have tried Command c the v and dragging but it doesn't work.

I have just purchase a new imac and want to insert album artwork onto itunes. This is not available on itunes store. I have tried the command button with c then v and this doesnt work. i have also tried dragging the picture but that doesnt work. Any advice please?

If you downloaded the artwork from the Internet. It'll be in your downloads folder. Open the folder, and "drag" the image from the folder to the Artwork box in the Info pane as shown:

How can I get Made In Chelsea from itunes when it is not available on my countries store?

I want to buy and download the Made in Chelsea seasons. But on Itunes Australia, where I am, its not available. It is however available on the British Itunes but of course its in pounds. It there any way to get Made in Chelsea off Itunes? Or will I have to nuy dvds from overseas (something i really dont want to do because of the cost)? Any other solutions?

Your only option is to have an iTS account for that country - you would need a local CC and local address to create an account for the country.

ITunes radio station is not available after two or three songs played

Why after create an station in itunes radio, after two or three songs played the messages is "station is not available"

First of all very disappointed in apple cust service for the price of there equipment should be more available created a station for the Reggie vision band plays 2 songs and then says station not available . everytime I have to delete the station reinstall the station 2 get 2 more songs ???? is anyone else having these sorts of problems ?? The problem with that is your credit or debit card credentials must be associated with the same country where you reside.
"Although you can browse the iTunes Store in any country without being signed in, you can only purchase content from the iTunes Store for your own country. This is enforced via the billing address associated with your credit card or other payment method that you use with the iTunes Store, rather than your actual geographic location."

Itunes music store still not available in AUSTRALIA

I was so excited to watch the October 12 video stream and was sitting on the edge of my seat when I saw the ipod video revealed before my eyes, i was so excited I logged on and bought one straight away forgettign why I originally started watchign the video stream. i started watching originally to see if Steve Jobbs would announce music store available in Australia. Act I, Act II, Act III, one more thing and the finale and encore came and went. I was so shocked that after all this time Australia still does not have access to purchase music and now video and TV programs. Would somebody care to comment. I have written 5 letters to Apple and of course there has never been a response from the company. I am sure I am not he only one there must be more voices who would like to comment...

I read sometime back that they were in negotiations with the music labels for an iTunes Music Store in Australia but some labels as you may know are now insisting music downloads be more costly than 99 cents to which Steve Jobs has replied that they are getting greedy.
Apple has been trying to reject a price increase and as they will have to renew existing agreements soon with labels for countries in which there is already an iTunes Music Store that will likely also be an issue in future to be resolved. I don't think there will be an iTunes Music Store launch for Australia till negotiations with music labels are completed.

How do I disable iTunes apple radio? My autistic so is fixated on the album covers and get violent when we won't let him have it or see us with it. If you cannot disable it now, then when will this be available.

I did find a way to disable the iTunes radio. Go to settings and click on the iTunes & App Store. Then click on the your apple ID and sign out. This will obviously prevent you from purchasing anything through the apple store. So you can sign in again when you need to make a purchase.

When I try to purchase iTunes Match, it says not available in the U.S.

Is there a solution to this as I know it IS available!

ITunes 'Video Size' option not available.

My earlier version of iTunes was getting cranky and stopped working earlier today. I took it off the box and reloaded the new version. It works fine except for this one thing noted above. My videos always fill the window now, no matter their original size was. With some older vids, this can be quite annoying as they get too blurred. When I check the the 'Video Size' option, it's greyed out and unavailable. I can't get the option when I'm watching the video either.
BTW, I'm not having this problem in QuickTime.

This is an old thread, but in the latest iTunes, edition 10.4, I found myself unable to use the keyboard shortcuts to change the size of the video from iTunes.
I dug around and found no way to get that feature to work.
What does work, though not as easily (I do prefer shortcut keys), is to right click in the video window to show the options (you do have to do it several times should the first request not change the size as much as you like). Otherwise, you can just click and stretch or shrink using the bottom right corner tool in Snow Leopard or any corner in Lion.

How do I get album artwork into itunes when it is not available from itunes

Previously I could drag an image into the corner of itunes where album artwork is displayed, but it doesn't seem to work in this version of itunes.

(Right-click)->Get Info on the album, and there'll be an artwork window at the lower right corner
of the info (or maybe summary?) tab.

ITunes Radio Star Menu not available

When I am in iTunes Radio on my iPhone, my Star menu is greyed out. It was working before but now it's grey. I can't figure out why. Anyone have ideas??? Thanks!!!

I was having this same issue listening to the iTunes Top 100 stations. (2 different ones) Then, I tried a different non-specific station, Classic Rock Radio, and now I can use both of those options. So, I guess it depends on which station you are listiening to.

Scream 4 has been out for a while now and is availble on the US iTunes store but is not available on the UK store. Any help?

That would be up to whoever holds the distribution rights for that movie for the UK. You'd have to contact them and ask.

Want to access iTunes music store but not in a 'valid' country

Hi, I'd really appreciate any help anyone can offer. I want to be able to buy music and videos for my new iPod and I have registered online. When I go to buy something with my credit card from the iTunes store, apparently you have to have an address for your credit card and a list of country's excluding Australia comes up. The problem is there is only about a dozen countries on the list and mine is not one of them so I can't pay by credit card. What can I do???

I really wish I was informed when I bought my ipod, that Itunes music store is not available in NZ and we don’t know when or IF it is going to be. Am feeling totally ripped off as one of the reasons I bought my ipod on Sunday was so I could download Audio books off itunes for when I am travelling. Now I go online and find out that I cant even download a measly single let alone a audio book.
Was feeling so excited about having my ipod and now just feel ripped off and extremely disappointed with Apple and the Apple salespeople. You are told how great itunes is and how you can download video, songs, books etc (when you are buying your Ipod) then once you have paid you $579+ (just for the ipod, let alone another $300 on accessories and warranty) you find out you can't download anything from itunes. Am pretty disgusted really! I researched my purchase, was going to go for a CREATIVE merely so could access NZ download sites, but was talked out of it by the sales person who showed me itunes and how great it is and I do think the IPOD itself is fantastic but wish I had of bought that CREATIVE so at least then I could have downloaded songs; books etc immediately. Bad Form from Apple, particularly given the amount of money I just spent :(((
