Itunes 10.6 isn't working with Windows 7

Every since I updated my Itunes to 10.6 as it requested me to, but Itunes won't work. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, deleted temp files, even created a new user account. Noting works. Now I will admit that the new account allowed me to install Itunes and it works in that account, but that isn't where I am using my Itunes. What's up with Itunes and Windows 7? It was working prior. Very perplexed.

HP w2408h monitor isn't working with Windows 8.1???

I've been using my HP w2408h monitor as a second screen for my computer. When I bought the new computer, I just connected the HDMI cable to the main monitor and it worked perfectly (with Windows 8.0 Pro).
Yesterday, I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro and the monitor no longer works / isn't recognized in the device manager. I've tried to find drivers, but all I can find is drivers for 8.0. I've read that the 8.0 drivers should still work for 8.1, but they don't. I've tried reboots, reconnecting the HDMI cable, etc. - to no avail. Can anyone help?

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I saw your post regarding the problem with Google Chrome not working after you did an update. Are you having any problems if you use a different browser? I would recommend that you uninstall Chrome and reinstall it.

DVI connection to Lenovo 6622-HB1 isn't working with Windows 7. Any suggestions please?

I have a W510 in a 4338 Mini Dock Plus Series 3 running Windows 7. Previously I had a T60 in its docking station (2504) connected to a Lenovo 6622 (1680 by 1050) connected using the DVI connection which worked fine under WinXP, but the external monitor does NOT work any more with W510/Win 7. It DOES work with an analog connection but I would prefer to use the DVI.
The external DVI connection works at startup but once Windows 7 completes its initialization it becomes undetected.
Can anyone advise whether this is a recognised problem and whether a fix is available? Thanks

on the dock 3 plus there are two dvi ports, which one did you use?

ITunes 9.1 does not work with Windows 7 64-bit

I just updated my itunes to 9.1. Now it will not start or falsely tells me someone else is already using it. That's not true. No one else is using it. When I reboot and start fresh iTunes will work. But when I close it and try to get back onto it, nothing happens or I get the error message that someone else is using it. My prior version worked fine on Windows 7 64-bit.

I'm having issues also. I have a Gateway desk top and it has Windows 7 64-bit and iTunes 9 will not install. Keeps saying it could not access my network location. I can't seem to get any resolution from Gateway or Apple for this problem. Even my Adobe Reader 9 doesn't work and I've only had this computer fot 2 WEEKS! Oh! Let's not forget Adobe Flash Player won't download either.

ITunes 7.4.1 not working with Windows Vista

Ive just installed iTunes 7.4.1, but I am unable to start program at all.
Can anyone help?

Ive tried removing and reinstalling iTunes serveral times, but it doesnt help. When I try to open iTunes. Vista gives the msg that it cant open due to 'some program' and is searching for a way to solve the problem. Vista is unable to come up with a solution, but will tell you futurely . Pretty useless!
I am suspecting either the last Windows update, the iTunes update or Microsoft office 2007 - prolly Outlook, but I am not sure at all.

Google Chrome isn't working with Windows 8.1

I just upgraded to Windows 8.1 and then was prompted to load new drivers from the HP assistant. After several restarts, now when I try and use Google Chrome, I get a blank screen. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks.

Toshiba DVBT-Stick PX1211E isn't working with Windows 7

Hey,
i bought a Toshiba PX1211E DVBT-Stick for my Laptop. My system is Windows 7. I downloaded and installed the newest drivers, but the dvbt isnt working.
Can you tell my what drivers i need and how i correctly install it? That would be very nice!

What drivers did you chose and where did you find these drivers???
On the Toshiba European driver page I could find only Savy TV (driver) for Win2k, Win XP and Win Vista
There is nothing about Win 7
However, you should check what OS are supported this should be mentioned on the package on in the manual
Otherwise you could try the Vista software

Does iTunes work with Windows 8?

Does anyone know iTunes work with Windows 8? I know 10.7 was just realeased and I wondered if it added Windows 8 support or will I have to wait for iTunes 11?
Windows 8 is not beta anymore, it is RTM although I know a public release isn't until October.
I just want to know if people have it working or not.

I just installed iTunes 10.7 on windows 8.
I can confirm the issues with iTunes on the windows 8 release preview still exist.
Meaning that iTunes does work, but some devices cannot be connected nor synced. This seems to be a driver issue.
For all I know what does work: iPad 1, iPad 2, New iPad, iPhone 4S.
What does not work: iPhone 4.
These I know for sure myself, other devices may or may not work, but I didn't try them myself.

New computer wqith Windows 7 - Does iTunes work with Windows 7

I downloaded iTunes 9 and tried to upload my 1st CD and it never got passed a few seconds of upload before it froze up. I tried another CD and the same thing happened. So I uninstalled 9 and tried iTunes 8 because I was more familiar with that. The first CD uploaded the 1st song and then froze up. The song played quite well but I couldn't get passed the 1st song. Does iTunes work with Windows 7? TY in advance.

No it runs just fine on Win 7 64 bit so your problem isn't that.
Download a fresh copy of iTunes and use this : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 to make sure you get all of the old install.
Make sure you run disk clean up when your done so that there are no temp files around when you try with the fresh install.
Now, making sure your using the admin account and that you've disabled any security software, try again with the new download

ITunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows - Fix??

I had issue after issue with the latest iTunes update (12.1.1) not working on my windows 7. It simply would not lunch when clicking on the shortcut to open.
After a fair bit of searching I found this alternative version which seemed to do the trick and now it works:
iTunes 12.1.1.4 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - iTunes64Setup.exe(2015-02-18)

The "for older video cards" installer - which, like most prior "64 bit" versions of iTunes, is actually a 32 bit application with a 64 bit installer - may be a useful fallback if the full 64 bit version does not install or run correctly. Although 12.1.1.4 is a major improvement over 12.1.0.71, there are clearly still some lurking incompatibilities with some 64 bit Windows systems/components. It is, however, a little misleading to say that "iTunes 12.1.1 does NOT work with Windows" - in many cases it works fine without switching to the alternative version. I have the full 64-bit version of 12.1.1.4 running on three systems - two Windows 7 and one Windows 8.1 - no issues with either installation or operation on any of them.

Will itunes 11 work with windows xp, I have ended up with this neqw version and it doesn't work , I can look at my library ,but not play and since synching my ipod it is now empty. Apple support is useless, they treat me like I'm on a Mac not a PC .

ITunes does not work with Windows VISTA

If you are planning on installing Windows VISTA than do not expect your iTunes to work. It will mark all our downloads as being unauthorized to play on the Windows VISTA computer. If you try to download some new songs you will get an error. I am working with version 7.0.2 - the newest version at this time. So, beware - do not expect iTunes to work with Windows VISTA.

Okay. I got it working again by setting it up as a new phone instead of just syncing. Then I backed up. All is good today.

Why won't itunes work with windows 8.1? i tunes can not locate my music.

Why won't windows 8.1 let itunes locate my music? I deleted and downloaded, still won't do it. But like majic after I installed windows 8.1 my computer had a XBOX music player appear, that found my 3200 songs and it was able to play the entire library no problem. Any ideas on how i get itunes to start working with windows 8.1?

To resolve this issue you may need to uninstall iTunes and all of it's components, and reinstall the latest version as explained in this article:

What version of itunes works with windows 7 64 bit? Must I use a beta version of cloud? I generally don't want to use beta versions of software.

It should work (many, many people have it working fine) though Windows7 was officially released only 2 days ago and iTunes has not had an update since then.
