Itunes 10" ping not available worldwide

i just downloaded and installed itunes 10 over my old installation
of itunes 9, it is ok but i think 'ping' is not available worldwide..

Hi, it's as usual - czech republic is the forbidden and/or forgotten land. The problem of unavailable Ping for me is however a bit more serious; it's my job to develop apps for various social sites. Ping might be weak on features, but as usual with Apple products - it's about the brand and marketing. In other words, Ping might play an important role to me soon; so I'm asking here - _*could any of you lucky guys who have the Ping access tell me if there is such thing as custom 3rd party apps on Ping? TY!*_

Why I can't rent a movies in iTunes I'm using ipad2 and if I view movies in iTunes it's not available in migrating store

If you live in a country where the feature is not available, you will not be able to rent movies. Not all iTunez content is available worldwide.
You can see what is available where you live here.

  • Error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available" and saving to wrong Drive

I am trying to upgrade iTunes to 10.7 on my PC but I keep getting the error message "iTunes Helper Resources not available". Diagnostics take me a support page which talks about not being able to see the device in iTunes - but I can see the device without problems.
I thought I would try reinstalling iTunes from the webpage and it downloaded to my PC fine but when I went to setup, it showed me it is saving to a DVD drive - not my Hard drive. It also won't let me change the location for the file. I have no idea how that's happened as I obviously don't use the DVD drive as a USB (although the PC see's it as one) and I've never chosen it as the location for iTunes in the 7-8 years that I've been using it.
I then thought I'd try uninstalling it and reinstalling it (to the correct drive) but again, it comes up that the DVD drive is invalid and won't uninstall iTunes.
So I'm stuck and haven't been able to find anything helpful on the support pages or in iTunes Help.
    Please someone help ...
    Thanks.

Try the following user tip. (Probably, the section on clearing the installation database might be best given that you've currently got a drive on the problematic letter at the moment.)

How do I download previously purchased albums from iTunes when the album has either disappeared from my computer or the tunes are not playable?  The albums show as purchased on the iTunes store, but not available to download to my authorized device.  I also have albums that appear in my library, but are not able to be added to my iPod from my computer

When you download something from the iCloud, it is a brand new licensed copy. Your iCloud account just contains a notation that you have this app. It isn't storing an actual copy of the app from your Mac.

  • Sign-In msg:  iTunes is temporarily not available. Please try again later.

I cannot sign into iTunes with my PC since downloading update.  The store loads, but I cannot sign in.  The message says: Itunes is temporarily not available.  Please try again later.   I have windows 7 pro, 64 bit, an authorized computer, and downloaded the latest iTunes update.  Been at least four days now....
So far, Apple support has responded once and had me uninstall everything, literally everything, pertaining to Apple, including QuickTime.  Then, reinstall iTunes.  They did not mention reinstalling QuickTime, but I now have done that too since nothing improved otherwise.  Still cannot sign into my account for the store.  Am waiting for the latest Apple support response, but would appreciate hearing from anyone who has this problem and found a way out of it.
Someone suggested that I try to authorize my computer even though it is already authorized because that worked for them, but that did not work for me--Still cannot sign into my account in order to complete the so-called authorization.
I wonder what is next after I can finally sign on--iPhone, iPad, iPods recognition and/or synch problems...?  I cringe.

is this related to collab suite. if ys pls post in collab suite forum. this is reports forum

  • What is wrong with itunes. it says itunes store is not available. try back later.

itunes store is not available. try back later. Everytime I try to purchase something this message appears. What is wrong with itunes?

iTunes in Windows is difficult to uninstall.
I found this for you in an older thread (read carefully before you start):

    Resolution
Note that the following procedure involves a registry edit. Back up your registry prior to proceeding.
    (1) Do a complete uninstall of iTunes and related software components as per the instructions in the following document (but do not attempt to reinstall iTunes just yet):
Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923
    (2) Launch Regedit as an administrator. In your Start Search field, type regedit. Right-click on the Regedit entry that comes up and select "Run as administrator" as per the following screenshot:
    (3) In the left-hand pane of Regedit, click the triangle next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to expand its contents.
    (4) Expand the contents of SOFTWARE
    (5) Expand the contents of Microsoft
    (6) Expand the contents of Windows
    (7) Expand the contents of CurrentVersion
    (8) Expand the contents of Installer
    (9) Expand the contents of UserData
    (10) Expand the contents of S-1-5-18
    (11) Right-click on Components and select "Permissions" as per the following screenshot:
    (12) In the "Permissions for Components" screen that comes up, click the Advanced button:
    (13) In the "Advanced Security Settings for Components" screen that comes up, click the "Owner" tab.
    (14) In the "Owner" tab, check the "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects tickbox, select "Administrators" and click Apply:
(14a) If (after clicking Apply) you receive a "Registry Editor could not set owner on the key currently selected, or some of its subkeys" message, click OK:
    (15) Click OK in the "Advanced Security Settings for Components" screen.
    (16) Click OK in the "Permissions for Components" screen.
    (17) Quit out of Regedit.
    (18) Try installing iTunes using the latest version of the iTunes installer downloaded from the Apple website:

  • I am getting constantly the message: itunes store is not available. try again later

Both in my Apple TV (Latest 1080 version) and my Macbook Pro I am getting constanlty the message "itunes store is not available. try again later"
I have checked my network and it is working while this is happening so it should not be a problem related to my internet connection.
I have also used without problem my three apple tv so it cannot be a firewall.
This is happening randomly but more frequently.
All software versions have been updated and problem persists

I tried today turning OFF the Dolby Digital feature in the apple tv. testing......

  • Itunes music store not available in your country yet.

I just did a clean reinstall of OS 10.3.5, and when I try to access the music store I get
"itunes music store not available in your country yet.
You will be able to browse and listen to previews but wont be able to purchase music. To browse music store, select a country below."
So I select United States and nothing happens.
I am in the US and have an itunes account.
    The itunes version is 4.2.
Also, what is the highest itunes version I can use with 10.3.5?
I am held down to this OS version because of some other software on my mac that won't work with anything higher than 10.3.5.
    thanks
    roger c.

First, the iTunes Store has required iTunes 6 at minimum for quite a while now. So you're going to have to upgrade from iTunes 4.2. If you want to run iTunes 7, you'll need to get to Mac OS X 10.3.9. Otherwise you can download iTunes 6.0.5 here, but you won't be able to purchase movies or (I believe) videos unless you have iTunes 7. There's also no guarantee how long iTunes 6 will work.
Second, you've posted in the iTunes for Windows forum. Normally you'll get the quickest and most accurate responses if you post in the iTunes for Mac forum.
    Regards.

  • Valid installation itunes pkg, is not available from network resource, what ca I do?

I have been tryng unsuccessfully to install Itunes.  I keep getting the msg. that a valid installation pkg. is not available from its network resourse.  I have windows vista.  Sometimes it says missing .dll files.  What can I do to correct this?  My Itunes worked perfectly until I was asked to upgrade it 2 weeks ago.  Now nothing works with anything else.

See TS3704: "The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" alert appears when removing Apple software in Windows.

  • Games in iTunes Apps Store not available in South Africa?

    Hi.
Does anyone know why the Games category for the iPhone and relevant games are not available in the iTunes Apps Store in South Africa?
I obviously live in SA and would like to download some games for the iPhone 3G.
    A.

    Either the answer is:
    1) The developers of said applications (if you are referring to the iPhone and iPod Touch apps) excluded south Africa
    2) Its an error in the iTunes store.
Unfortunately there is no way of knowing without emailing Apple directly since they aren't going to be able to comment here.

  • The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition was released on iTunes today. Not available in the store anywhere

Has anyone been able to download it or happen to know what the problem is?

I was able to download it last night. But I experienced multiple itunes crashes. I was about 5 minutes into the download when I got an error saying itunes experienced a problem and stopped the download. I resumed the download, and about a minute later itunes shut down automatically. When I reopened iTunes and resumed the download, the same exact problems happened again.
After resuming the download for a third time (around 11pm) I went to bed and when I checked on the download it had some time during the night and stopped the movie download with about 3 minutes remaining. I resumed for the fourth time and the movie portion finally completely downloaded. However the iTunes extras did not download more than a few megabytes of info. Every time I try to resume downloading the iTunes extras of the movie it crashes. So I am thinking maybe the extras has something to do with the crashes.
I have never experienced a problem like this before, and I download a lot of movies from iTunes. This is the first one, and coincidently I upgraded to itunes 11.1 a few hours earlier.
On a personal note, I am really not a fan of the any of the iTunes extras for any of the movies. They just take up valuable hard drive space and I just end up deleting them anyway. It would be nice if we could just opt out of even downloading them in the first place.

  • Itunes purchased songs not available on my PC.

I purchased some music from Itunes and downloaded it to my comp.....the album and songs show in my itunes library, but it won't play them and gives me the message the"original file can't be found". It also does not show the icloud icon beside the songs. When I go to my purchases in itunes it does not give the option to re down load the songs. The crazy thing is that the songs are on my iphone. Help please! How do I get the songs back on my PC?

Delete them from the iTunes library on your computer and redownload them by opening the iTunes Store > Purchased (in the Quick Links section on the right) > sign in > Music

  • Why iTunes is not available worldwide

I lately bought an iPod but my contry (Israel) is not listed in the iTunes stores.
Why Apple doesn't let me use my international credit card or PayPal account to use the store and download music?

    Avi,
The way music business is set up, different entities hold the rights to sell music in different countries. In order for Apple to open a Music Store in any particular country, it has to negotiate the rights to sell music with the rights-holders in that country.
For more detail, have a look at:
    http://discussions.info.apple.com/webx?50@@.689db764.689d6b39
As for when Apple might open an iTMS in Israel, we're all just regular folk in these Discussions and don't have any knowledge of what Apple's plans for the future may or may not be.
If it's any consolation, Australia was just recently added to the list of countries with a Music Store.
But who will be next and when that will be, we don't know.
