I have 100 plus songs in my itunes library (downloaded from store and cd's) that have lost the original file on my computer. They are still playing on my ipod. Is there a way I can transfer the songs fromn the ipod back into the library to restore the files?

I have tried everything I have read on the Internet about sync issues and restore etc and not there isn't a single song on my iPad or iPod touch. All of the songs are listed in my iTunes but are all greyed out, some have the cloud symbol next to them but lots don't and some say waiting.
Long and short is nothing will save to my devices at all.....HELP !!!!!!!?

To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
Delete the "songs" that do not play in your iTunes library and reimport them.

How to send a 100 plus page MS Word Report with Word and pdf. attachments?

I am not able to e-mail or have a 100 plus page report received and need your support. It contains a combination of MS Word and pdf files and attachments.
I am using MS Outlook 2007 and Google Chrome.
Please advise.

If your mail service allows all of that to be sent as attachments or however you are attempting that then it's possible the email server or servers receiving the email do not allow attachments that large.
You say you are sending "a combination of MS Word and pdf files and attachments". I've never sent anything like that. I have zipped various files into a zip file then attached that to an email for sending.
Googles mail appears to allow a total of 25 megabytes of attachments in a single email.
Yahoo mail appears to allow a total of 25 megabytes also.
Microsofts mail appears to allow a total of 20 megabytes of attachments in a single email.
Another option would be to upload everything to your onedrives public folder and provide a link for others to download all of it in the email you send out.
A single users onedrive supposedly can have up to 10 gigabytes loaded onto it. I suppose all of that could be used by the public folder but maybe not.

I know that with a Microsoft product graphics can be tagged before a PDF is made. I need to know how to do this with my programming.

The Acrobat SDK might be a starting point.
From there, perhaps a plug-in (built with C+).
Perhaps with a licensed release of a PDF Library (this could be $$).
The viable and cost effective alternative is use the tried and true.
Authoring in an appropriate authoring application with appropriate tag management.
Example: Adobe InDesign; Adobe FrameMaker or MS Word with PDFMaker (comes with install of Acrobat).
This way you place "Alternative Text" when mastering content in the authoring file.
Going the route and with some look-see (research) you may find programmatic approaches to placing the alt txt in the authoring file.
Note: as discussed in the Matterhorn Protocols there is no programmatic method that provides a fully accessible PDF (specifically, that is an ISO 14289-1, PDF/UA-1 compliant PDF).
Regardless, here you have a sub-forum for discussions on Acrobat usage.
Consequently discussions on/of 3rd party software is rather out of scope eh.

That would mean you've blown around $30k on iTunes. Are you sure? Are you really going to listen to 60,000 songs that the limit is not enough for you? Is that like the full discography of every artist you know? I already have a couple of hundred cds on iTunes Match and that includes stuff that maybe just maybe I'll listen to someday. Most of it I added for the **** of it.

ITunes Music Now 100% Plus

So I just saw on iTunes that everything is now the Plus format. Yet when I click upgrade, it doesn't show me anything. Will it be adding more stuff to upgrade soon, or will I have to repurchase all my non Plus songs and videos.

Confirm that the item you wish to upgrade is still listed in the iTunes Store. Some items, apparently for which Apple could not get Plus versions from the record companies, have been removed.
For those items that are in the Store, apparently sometimes, for various reasons (replacement of a track in the Store with another copy, slight changes in the release identification, etc.) the link between the track and your Purchase History can break, which will result in the track not appearing as eligible for iTunes Plus upgrade even though it exists as Plus in the Store.
Contact the iTunes Store Customer Service department using the form at the bottom of the Purchase Issues FAQ web page (there is no category specifically for this issue, so I'd suggest just picking one under the Purchases - problem area) and explain the problem to them. It may take a couple of email exchanges to get past the "form" email responses, but eventually they should work out a solution for you. You may need to provide the track name, artist and order number so they can confirm the original purchase.

Itunes 100 percent CPU

I am running Itunes and my CPU is running at 100% also when trying to go onto the iTunes Store it just says "accessing iTunes Store" and hangs there. There was an update available so I tried to update which resulted in getting an error when installing saying that MSVCR80.dll was missing. I then uninstalled itunes following all the steps removing :
Itunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
I downloaded the latest version of Itunes and installed it. I still have the same problem. I then tried using command prompt and netsh winsock reset. Restarting the computer but this hasn't helped either. I then tried Autoruns from Microsoft Website to see if there was any other programs using Winsock, but the only one that is showing is Bonjour.
Please can anyone help? I'm running out of ideas
I am running itunes on Windows XP SP3. I've only just started to get this problem and I haven't installed anything new for a while (not counting itunes-which I only updated to try and fix the problem)

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if CPU problem is fixed now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

I have an iPod 4G, but I can't update to iOS 5. When I click on 'update' in iTunes it says 'The iPod server cannot be contacted' I have tried everything, even re-installing iTunes. Plus I cant update on the iPod alone. How can I update to iOS 5?

I have checked my connections, they're fine. My apps won't update because it require iOS 5, it's currently 4.3.5. Also, I cannot update using my iPod only. What to do to update iPod?

ITunes 100% completely broken

So, I get home from class today and turn on iTunes (v.7.1.1). the program stays open for about 30 seconds and then quits unexpectedly. It asks me to reopen or send a report. I reopen. Nothing happens. It asks me to try again or send a report. I tell it to try again. Nothing happens. It asks me to reopen or send a report. I send a report.
I try to open iTunes again and get the exact same result. It stays open for 30 seconds and quite for no good reason. I restart my computer. Same deal when I open iTunes after restarting. I delete iTunes, and redownload it from apple.com. Same thing happens. I delete it again, redownload it and restart my computer. Same thing happens. I use Appzapper to completely get rid of all iTunes related files, everything. I completely reinstall iTunes after redownloading it AGAIN from apple.com. SAME. THING. HAPPENS. Only now, since I deleted all the iTunes files all my settings are gone. So during my 30 second window, I redo all my settings. I quit iTunes myself before it quits automatically. I reopen iTunes. SAME **** THING HAPPENS YET AGAIN.
So I have no freaking clue what is going on, or what could have caused this, as I never messed with anything, I didn't add any new files to the library or anything like that. I just opened it, like I had down just yesterday, and now the problem doesn't seem to want to go away.
Anyone? Anyone got any ideas on this on?

Have you tried 'Repairing Permissions', it is an option in Disc Utility.
It might help with a damaged application.

You probably opened a blank catalog, not the catalog with your 100 photos.
in Lightroom, go to File->Open Recent and see if your catalog is listed there, if so then select it and it will open

That *****... there is a reason why the iPhone (and all iDevices) are designed to by synced with a computer on a regular basis.
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, the music can be redownloaded via iCloud.
Go to your purchase history in iTunes and simply download the missing songs one by one.
