ITunes 11.0.4 doesn't sync iphoto events anymore

Since I've updated iTunes to 11.0.4, event's field on Photos tab is no longer available. Any reason ?

You may need to disable Photo syncing to the device and sync, removing existing sync content and settings. If that doesn't do the trick, the next step would be to remove the iPod Photo Cache from your iPhoto Library's contents. Both of these steps are detailed in the following article.

If you're still not seeing Events as an option under the Photos tab, you may need to repair your iPhoto Library.

Wait for an iOS update and send feedback to Apple. Many have reported that problem here - synced events and faces in arbitrary order, but there is no known solution. You cannot arrange the synced events, albums, and faces on your iOS devices in any way.

Sync iPhoto "Events" to Apple TV

Is it possible to sync iPhoto events to the Apple TV?
Allowing navigation through organized events from the Apple TV menu.

We can't. We are still stucked to create albums to sync our photos with Apple TV.

I have an original iphone. With the latest version of itunes, 10.5, it no longer syncs. The name of my device doesn't appear in itunes just a gneric iphone. I know its old and apple no longer provides updates to ios but taking away my ablilty to sync is hard to believe. Any suggestions

Did you do a backup of iOS before you changed iTunes?
I would do a reverse and go back to the old iTunes, then update your iPhone and then update iTunes.
Version 4.x of iOS has been out forever, update, update, update.....it is very important to maintain compatability in hardware & software devices/pcs'/Macs.

Itunes 11.1.4 doesn't sync app's after last update in Iphone 5S

I found a problem after last Itunes update
I can't sync app's anymore
everytime I tryed to sync app's in Iphone 5S I received a mesage needs to Authorize this computer
I had outhorized a lot
But, is curious, my Ipad Mini (first gen.) I can sync everything including App's with the same cable!
I guess this is a problem from new Itunes 11.1.4 because I didn't had problems like this before

ITunes detects iPhone, but doesn't sync

Hello everyone,
Excuse my bad english.
I've an issue with my iPhone 4S and iTunes (11.4)
iTunes detects the iPhone, it shows the usage-bar, but the "sync" button is unclickable.
I can see what's on my phone, re-arrange springboard icons and folders, etc, but when I want iTunes to sync my settings, nothing happens.
If I try to make a backup, it seems to work for a few seconds, but then it stops as if it has finished, without warning or error messages (and without backup )
I tried to re-install iTunes after deleting AppleMobileDevice.kext and AppleMobileDeviceSupport.pkg , but it didn't work.
Until the re-installation, the usage-bar showed only one category, "other". Now it shows all the categories it showed before the problem begun, but it doesn't reflect the real usage of the phone.
The other day I also updated to iOS 8.0.2 (without troubles), but the problem still exists!
Anyone can help? Thank you in advance!!

First step is to see if the problem is with the phone, the USB or the computer. For the USB make sure you are connecting to a port on the back of the computer, not to a hub and not to the keyboard. Try connecting to a different computer. If it works you have narrowed the problem. If it doesn't the problem is the phone or the cable, so try a different cable. If it works on a different computer try creating a new user on your computer, then see if you can connect when logged on as that user (you could do this first, of course).

HT1386 iTunes doesn't recognize iPhoto events

Recent events in iPhoto do not show up in iTunes, so I can't synch them to my iPhone.
(I don't have much space on my phone, so I only synch last 12 months of photos.)
The events from the last couple months don't show up at all.
But in "moments" a smattering of the photos from this period do....but only a smattering. Most are missing.
Any ideas?

Ios8 and syncing iPhoto Events

Prior to iOS8 the photo events synced from iPhoto were in alphabetical order (same as I have in iPhoto) on my phone. Now they are in some random order. Makes it difficult to to find an event by event title. I cannot find any settings for this. I tried removing all photos off from phone and re-sync but they again appear in a random order - different than before - but still random. And the event KEY PHOTO that shows in iPhoto also no longer appears as the same key photo for the event on the iPhone. Help!!

I Had the same issue when iOS 7 came out (iPhone 5), it seemed to be resolved in a minor update, but now I have the issue again with ios8 and the iPhone 6 plus.
All support for this issue tells you to go into iphoto and sort events by title. Now let's have an answer from someone who's not in kindergarten please ;-)

i would like to sync or grab some iPhoto between my iMac and macbook, the only thing i found is the share label in preference panel, but i can just see the lbums from my macbook but not grub them

Since we are at it, maybe you can help me here: with the above configuration I'm having troubles to keep the music I choose with the slideshows. Even if the iTunes libraires on the two Macs are identical, the slideshows do not keep the chosen music together with the slides.

iTunes only syncs photos one way: from your computer to your phone. If that is what you are trying to do, make sure you have selected to sync photos on the photos tab of your iTunes sync settings, including any folders containing the photos you want transferred to your phone, then sync.

Syncing photos from more than the last 20 iPhoto events?

How can I sync more than the last 20 iPhoto events with my iPhone?
When I select folders instead of events I can get more photos (ex: last 12 months) to my iPhone but at the same time I no longer have access to the "events" view which I use to organize my photos.
Is there a solution to sync/copy more than 20 events to my iPhone?

When I sync my iPhone with iTunes appears a messeage saying that is missing a file and it's impossible to sync the iPhoto photos.

Was trying to fix my iphoto albums when I synced with itunes, I got a message saying that the iphone cannot sync because a required file cannot be found. I have tried restoring to original firmware, I have also tried the trouble shooting advice about ticking off the photos sync, unplugging the phone, then deleting the ipod photo cache and then reconnecting with itunes and checking the photos sync button again, all to no avail. I still can't restore my photos on my iphone4. No help still?
