Hi, I have a white screen in itunes store when I connect to it... It's itunes 11.04 on OSX 10.6.8.
Any suggestions?

In iTunes prefs>Store - is the Store check box unchecked?
Did you repair pemissions with Disk Utility?

Yes I am looking in the app store. When I look in Itunes on my computer and look at purchased apps it is there. And when I go on my other device and look at apps purchased all apps are there.
The new ipad doesn't show any apps purchased when I click on apps purchased and when I search the app store it doesn't show it is purchased. Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If it does not resolve the issue, the device is permanently damaged and will require replacement.

restoring as new does just that. It will wipe your phone clean just as if you just bought it.
If you've been using your iPhone as recommended, you've been synching your contacts to your computer to a contact manager such as Outlook or Address Book, or you've been synching your contacts with a cloud service like MobileMe or Google. Your contacts should be safe in one of those locations.

I get a white screen when i enter the iTunes store. The toolbar on the left is OK. The top is OK. It doesn't crash or anything, and I am logged in when I do it.

If you're seeing a blank iTunes Store, you could try resetting Winsock. That's fixed the problem for some people.
Click on your Start menu, go to accessories, and click the Command Prompt icon. Once it opens, type in the following command...
netsh winsock reset
Press Enter and it should say something like "winsock reset successful:
Then reboot your computer and try the iTunes Store again.

Just let the battery drain until the screen shuts off. When you charge it back up it should boot up normally.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore va iTunes:

I am having the same problem so I followed your advice and signed out, restarted, and signed back in. It let me look at my account in the itunes store but when I try to leave my account and go to the actual itunes store, it is still just a blank white screen. There are home, music, movies, etc. tabs. Movies and tv shows both have a black screen but the rest are white. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi. I am using HDMI cables and when I go to watch anything I purchased on ITunes I get a solid white screen. I can view anything on YouTube just fine and could just look at movie trailers. While not an explanation of what is happening, I have had success restarting the device when this happens to me.

TS1538 my iphone is frozen on the "connect to itunes" screen when its connected to itunes and when its disconnected ... i dont know what to do.

i connected my iphone 4s to itunes to upgtrade it but it got stuck on the "connect to itunes" screen whether its connected to itunes or not ive tries restoring it but a message comes up that says phone is still in restoring mode but when i connect it to itines again it wont restore itll stop halfway and says iphone could not be restored and there is an error number 1604 . what should i do?

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
