I write this message because i can not syncro my iphone 5 with ios 7.0.2 on my mac wtih itunes 11.1.1

hola, yo tengo windows 8.1 iphone 5 y el mismo problema que tu empieza a sincronizar pero cuando llega al punto 5 o se cancela la sincronizacion, se cierra itunes o nunca pasa al punto 5. no se que hacer hay otros programas para sincronizar pero perderia la opcion de poder comprimirlas al agregarlas al iphone.

IPhone to PC syncro of iTunes downloads

I bought 2 music albums on my iPhone and, as usual, they have automatically been added to my iTunes on my PC. Unfortunately, it seems the downloading to my PC has been unsucessful, as some songs do not play properly on my PC. I have tried syncronizing my computer and my iPhone, but the PC files are still corrupted, whereas the iPhone ones play just fine. How can I force syncronization from my iPhone to my PC?

I can see that in my case Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is not listed in Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus Controller and I can see Iphone mentioned under Other devices..I followed the steps but a dialog ox appears saying .."Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it".
Please suggest how to resolve it.

Ipod doesn't get recognised in Itunes

Got me a new Ipod nano 8GB
I installed new version of itunes and updated all software on pc...
Now my Ipod automaticly makes itself a J: drive which used to be the one of my external drive...
In any case, my ipod appears in itunes but I can;t put music on it cus it gets thrown out with or error 1439 or something about map not being found
What can I do now? My idea was to un-install the ipod so when I connect it again in Itunes I can decide myself which drive it should use ?
Can I change the drive manually (how do I do that?) or doesn't that change the problem ?

I changed the drive today, hoping to resolve the problem with that but it's still the same... Ipod appears in Itunes and when I want to put music on the Ipod I get the popup screen that says: syncro.failed, can't find folder...
So if I understand correctly this means Itunes has problems with finding out where my Ipod is...I was able to put 1 song on the Ipod and by the 2nd it fialed and lost contact with the Ipod...I'm getting nuts over here !!

I have created an Exchange account on Mail. ( Address Book + iCal OK )
When I plug my iPhone I can't see this account on Itunes, so i can't use the syncro.

Well, just sounds like you have some hung up programs (happens from time to time just like a computer).
Do a reset/reboot.
A reset/reboot is:
Go to Home Screen
Press and Hold Home Button
Keep holding and press and hold Lock Button
Keep holding Both
You will see Slide to Turn Off (Don't let go to slide, just keep holding)
The phone will turn off (in time, but screen will look like it has some white lines)
Keep Holding
When you see the Apple Logo, you can let go.
Turning off via the Slide to Turn off while good and fine to turn off, is more like the Sleep Mode on a computer. Thus any locked up issues in memory remain when you turn back on. A reboot as described is like doing a real Turn off and Turn On on a computer.

Wenn ich mein ip5 an itunes anschließe, wird die Musik die ich auf dem I phone habe nicht einzeln aufgeführt, es steht jedeglich groß "mit Itunes syncro" das habe ich aber schon 3 mal gemacht, ohne erfolg. jemand nen anderen Tipp? Danke

IPhone 5s ne synchronise pas les photos sur iTunes

Bonjour à tous!
Je viens d' avoir un 5s (iOS 7.0.4) et je n'arrive pas à accéder à l'onglet "Photos" sur iTunes (OSX Mavericks) pour la synchronisation, les options et éléments de syncro n'apparailssent tout simplement pas, je reste coincé sur l'animation de chargement (cf photo jointe). L'appareil accède pourtant à tout les autres onglets (livres, apps, sons, films,...) sans problème. Mon iPhone 5 et mon iPad 4, tout deux tournant également sous 7.0.4 n'ont aucun problème à accéder à l'onglet Photos et synchronisent tout parfaitement bien.
Quelqu'un avant moi a-t-il déjà rencontré le même problème? Avez vous des solutions à me proposer (j'ai déjà essayé d'effacer le cache photo iPod, sans résultat)?

Ouais, c'est dingue. On doit utiliser la version antérieure de Pages. Pages 5 est la m(e)rde.

ITunes... To may bugs

I am tyred in having problems with mac world every day.
I was thinking tha mac could be different from Windows: it is more expensive and that's all!
About once per month my apple tv has nod be recognized from iTunes; I am not able to find a suitable software for ceating video files for apple tv: I have been trying a lot of converters but no one was able to create a file with chapters! The only one is Hand Brake but it does not manage HD (720P) files.
I have tested copressor (fcp 7) but it crashes with apple tv h.264!
Actually after the iTunes upgrade the file that yesterday was good is no more good because during syncro (befor apple tv was disappeared from my iTunes) iTunes is advising me tha the file format is not compatible with apple tv.
What can I do! Unfortunately I have only mac computers!
Please give some suggestion.

Apple consistently updates/improves software. It lets me know that updates are available, I would imagine it will do the same for you.

can anybody tell me how to syncro podcast between iphone and itunes? 6 years ago it was working simply great. what you had on itunes you pass it to iphone.
now this changed, and i dont understand how is working.. only some podcast are syncornised.. i will apreciate any help. please apple actuate change all this mess.

for what it's worth, i'm getting the same issue. driving me crazy.

it keeps syncing played podcasts ignoring the unplayed.
i've removed the podcast from the sync list, and readded it, with no improvement.
it used to work well, with this phone and a different machine's podcast library, but it fails to work now.

Look out for "japiohelp".
In short:
a) press Windows key + "R", enter "cmd", and press Ctrl+Shift+Enter (= runs as admin)
b) enter "netsh winsock reset" and pres enter
c) reboot the computer

Three movies I bought from iTunes this morning do not show up on the 1st Gen AppleTV.

I understand some file formats are not compatible with AppleTV (1st gen) but these films were purchased directly from iTunes. One would assume they are formatted properly to work on Apple equipment, yes? Previously purchased movies show up on the AppleTV just fine, so I'm not sure what's going with these three. They were from the $4.99 Sci Fi collection: Enemy Mine, Dune and Terminator 2. Oldies but goodies. The iMac, where the iTunes Library lives is used to stream the content to the AppleTV, and everything that is in my Library appears to be available for streaming, except these three films. Any advice?

I have now restored Factory Settings on the Apple TV. Looked promising until iTunes hangs everytime I tried to enter the podcast page of the sync options. And I get errors that my newest movies, created in Final Cut Pro X with the Share with 720p Apple Devices export settings are not compatible with Apple TV.

You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud.
In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.
Mac:
Enter the Apple ID you want to use for iCloud in Apple () menu > System Preferences > iCloud.

You will need to provide more details as we cannot see your computer screen. Does this happen every time you launch LabVIEW? What version of LabVIEW are you using? What version of Windows? Does LabVIEW crash? If so, what were you doing at the time it crashed?

this is what i get when i open it. it was working fine last night. i opened it and it said updating library, but then i played music without a problem. this morning i uninstalled quicktime cause i never use it. so i think that might have messed it up. so i uninstalled everything and reinstalled itunes 7.2 and now i get this.

iTunes uses QuickTime for audio and video playback. So it's best not to uninstall it if you want to use iTunes.
When that message you're getting cites that "Offset: 10004000", almost invariably it's caused by a broken QuickTime. So let's try swapping that out again, this time applying some additional explicit precautions.
head into your Add/Remove programs. uninstall QuickTime.
Next, we’ll manually remove any leftover program files and folders.
1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now?

How can a family of 6 share the same itunes library?

My family has a major problem on our hands. We are new to ipods and itunes. We have 1 itunes account. My sons are too young to have their own accounts. They are too young for a credit card, and can't have a paypal account until they're 18. We want to keep our music separate from each others. How do we do this with only one library? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

One thing not mentioned is that if you decide on the multiple user approach, you can have your music folder in Shared Documents so you only store the tracks once.
Each user is free to choose which of those tracks they want in their library.
