I have iphone5 v7.1.1.
Itunes on Win 8.1 has stopped detecting my device. The problem started when I updated iTunes to 11.1.5. The problem still persists at 11.2
My computer is able to detect this device. Please help.

Note that iStatPro has not been updated in quite awhile and may not be reading the guts of a totally new system correctly. IIRC, the Late 2011 MBPs were beginning to tax iStatPro already, as they had newer sensors the older code was completely unaware of.
For strictly measuring temps on the guts of these newer Macs, maybe use Marcel Bresink's free Temperature Monitor? Last updated in March 2012. In my Late 2011 15" MBP, it picks up all 18 sensors...

Firefox update 10 won't open and the previous version 3.6 won't load any pages. I have done everything this site said to do. HELP?

The last version of Firefox that I had was the one before 3.6. I stopped upgrading due to it always messing up and not working right for me... whether it be due to vista, or just errors on your part. My husband decided to upgrade firefox to the newest one two days ago because the version I had was just "too slow!" Ever since he did that, I cannot get firefox to open. No matter how many times I uninstall it and delete everything mozilla on my computer then reinstall after restarting my computer, it just refuses to open. Every time i try it says that firefox has stopped working. It cant even check for solutions. I then try to click on the icon and I get something that says: firefox.exe - Bad Image C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.vc80.crt_1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b_8.0.50727.6195_none_d09154e044272b9a\MSVCP80.dll is either not designed to run n windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.
I have tried installing it over and over again several times, same message shows up. So i had clicked on the link to go download the previous version of firefox... what sucks is that the only version on the site is 3.6.27. I have never upgraded to this. So the second i installed that version, i now am able to open up firefox... BUT it is unable to connect. I have internet... a pretty bad ass connection. So my internet is not the problem. I then looked up how to fix that issue and did all 5 things listed under the Firefox cant load pages but other browsers can link. Still nada! I am now stuck using IE and going insane. If i can get help with a ton of details on what to do or how to fix this issue... either version... i would greatly appreciate it. I am going nuts having to put up with IE because my husband decided to update Firefox to a version that sucks with vista!

How do I downgrade from iTunes 9.2 to the previous version?

Since I upgraded to iTunes 9.2, when I connect my iPod to my computer, my iPod mounts and is recognized by iTunes but it does not sync. It simply locks up iTunes. Based on what I've read in these forums, people are having lots of trouble with iTunes 9.2. So I would like to uninstall 9 and then go back and install the previous version. I'm worried about losing my library, settings, etc.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

I lost all my passwords from the previous version of Firefox when I upgraded to Firefox 4. I have all the files. Is there any way to import them into Firefox 4?

Typically, when I have upgraded a program, all of the bookmarks, passwords, etc. have transferred to the newest version but, for some reason that did not happen with Firefox 4. I still have all my preferences files as they were moved to the trash. Is there any way I can import them back into the new version of Firefox as it is very frustrating to have lost them.

If you used the option to delete settings, or whatever it is worded when uninstalling, Firefox will remove all your important data information from profiles for all installed versions of Firefox, and you will then need luck and a file recovery utility to try to restore the information.
You mentioned files being moved to Trash, I was hoping you may still have the required original files. I use Windows XP, and I realise Macs use different locations for files, but I think the files have the same names.

Note the last article discusses problems when bookmarks are lost, and some of the possible reasons and solutions. Obviously I do not know what has actually happened in your case, and whether or not you used the delete option I initially mentioned.

I use the SCC mediaserver in my work, and the crop function has stopped working on Firefox, although it works on Internet Explorer, and I'm wondering if a recent upgrade caused that problem.

I am a newspaper copy editor and use Firefox to work from home. I use the SCC mediaserver to crop photos and place them in the JazBox system, which includes Adobe InCopy and InDesign. For some reason, the crop function is not working on the SCC when I go on it in Firefox, although it's working in Internet Explorer, which is much slower. I believe that Hotmail is POP3 but uses non-standard ports. You may have a problem with the account, specifically the password, and may have to contact the provider (good luck with that).
