ITunes 11.3.1 stops working when opened in 'Podcasts' view

After the latest update installed in last few days on Windows 7, iTunes often crashes on startup, at about the time it is accessing iTunes store (fine before the update). It does not happen if iTunes is opened in 'Music' view, but changing then to the 'Podcasts' view and clicking the podcast 'refresh' button causes crash again. It is worse on some user accounts than others.
Have tried:
- Complete reinstallation of iTunes
- Deleting preferences files in the Local and Roaming directories.
- Copying a QT dll to the iTunes program files directory (as mentioned on another thread)
- The other suggestions in this link iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
Any ideas?

Start iTunes is Safe Mode.

I too had the problem with Podcasts, so was delighted to see an update which addressed it. However, like all of you, after the update to 11.3, clicking on Refresh (Podcasts) caused iTunes to stop working. I then started iTunes in Safe Mode but saw no message about entering Safe Mode (as mentioned in the article). Despite this, Refresh Podcasts then worked. That was yesterday. This morning, I have started my iTunes in normal mode and had no issues.
I suggest you read the article, as there are important points about showing hidden files and what to do if the problem persists. In my case, the problem did not persist. Note also, that the article mentions third-party plug-ins as the cause of the problem. As far as I am aware, I did not have any third-party plug-ins, so the title of the article is somewhat misleading.

When syncing, check the Movies/TV Shows Tab in the iPhone menu, and make sure ALL movies are synced (or select the ones you want to sync)

Why Ctrl+Tab stops working when opening a flash embedded page?

This a huge pet peeve I have. Everytime I watch a video in youtube.com or megavideo.com, I can't just Ctrl+Tab to change tabs. I'll have to clic in some portion of the page without video to get it to work, but even that, isn't always the case.

Why iTunes stops working when I try to view any video / movie trailer from my library or iTunes Store?

Since i have the 10.6 / 10.7 / 11 iTune's version when i try to see my movies, from my library, or movie trailers from iTunes Store, the program stops working... I don't have idea about this problem, what happened?

I was using Windows 8 and recently updated to Windows 8.1 (Single Language). I never install iTunes during Windows 8. I tried to install the version latest version iTunes 11.1.2 today on my Windows 8.1, after installed, every time I open iTunes, it will stop working and I need to close it or debug it. I also tried install older version of iTunes 11.0.x but also same problem. I restarted PC also no help.

NOTE: AppData folder is invisible. You must allow to view hidden folder under folder option.

Acrobat 8.1.2 Stops Working When Opening a Drop-Down Dialog Box

Whenever I try to open a drop-down dialog box in Acrobat the application stops working and Vista requests that the application be closed and that I will be notified of a solution when one is available. I've experienced the problem for six months. I must now solve this problem.
I've already tried repairing the Acrobat installation without any improvement. What should I do next?

Thanks, seems to solve some of the problem, perhaps I need to uncheck more in this dialogue box... May be 'a' correct answer but not the complete solution. Anyway if all I need to do is uncheck a choice in a dialogue box then it must be a bug or driver incompatability as there seems to be no reason why I shouldn't be able to use 2D graphics acceleration.
Works if you highlight several PDFs in File Manager and then right click and 'Open with Adobe Acrobat', the error still occurs if I drag these files into an open instance of Acrobat beyond two files. Also seems to be more of a problem if one of the files is a 'colour document ' or 'greyscale document' scanned by Acrobat itself.

i saw that the ati video driver is the cause of crashing when accessing the store, but i haven't seen this problem reported here. i have a nano 3rd gen & touch 3rd gen & this happens with both.
could anyone please help me?

I've seen similar symptoms produced in the past when a podcast file is damaged, but it's much rarer to see that cause of trouble nowadays.

RoboHelp 9 Stops Working when Opening Projects

Hi,
I'm having a massive problem with RoboHelp 9.0.2. It "stops working" whenever I try to open, convert, or create a new project. It fails 100% of the time - with the sample projects, our projects, and new projects. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit on a Dell Lattitude E6400 with 2.66GHz processor and 4GB memory.
RoboHelp 8.0.2 ran fine on this system.
At first, I thought Win7 SP1 might be the culprit, as I was the only one in the dept. who had upgraded. But when the entire department upgraded to SP1 a week later, nobody suffered the same problem.
I've tried the ususal techniques such deleting the CPB file, moving projects to the "My RoboHelp projects" folder, etc. I tried to use RH9 in Windows Diagnostic Startup mode - same result.
The Visual Studio Just-in-Time Debugger gave this error, "An unhandled win32.exception occurred in RoboHTML.exe [6596]"
Does anyone have any suggestions? Or, what additional information can I provide?

Does RH always crash with the unhandled exception or does it just freeze and you have to kill it using task manager? I'm thinking if it only freezes, maybe your dialog boxes fell off the screen and you can use the following process to get them back.
1. Perform an action that will freeze RH, like File > Open or Insert > Image.
2. Press Alt, then spacebar, then M.
3. Press any arrow key.
4. Waggle the mouse. The missing dialog box should snap to the cursor.
5. Click to drop the dialog box where you want it.

Why does iTunes Store stop working when I try to view a certain category?

When I go to the iTunes store, I try to browse through the different apps. For example, I will click on "Entertainment" then on "Top Free Apps" then it will show a blank screen then my computer will say iTunes is not responding and shuts off. What can I do to fix this issue?

Adobe reader has stopped working when opening tracker [vista & reader x]

Hello all,
I'm a developer and im constantly uninstalling and reinstalling reader x and acrobat pro x, but i typically have both installed. Recently, i uninstalled both reader x and acrobat x via Add/Remove Programs in windows Vista, and then later reinstalled them both, and now when i click the adobe tracker icon in my systray, it says adobe reader has stopped working. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling and then rebooting, but that doesn't seem to help. Event viewer says:

This is strange. Can you try a couple of things:
1. Try launching Tracker in Acrobat. In Acrobat X, you will find it in Comment pane->Review->Track Reviews
2. Launch Reader in non-sandbox mode. For this, launch Reader and uncheck the option 'Enable Protected Mode at startup' in Reader Preferences->General. Close and re-launch Reader. Now launch Tracker.
Does it still crash in both the cases?

LabWindows/CVI 2013 SP2 stops working when I try to open a file using the project file menu.

I have windows 7 on my system and sometime late last year I starrted getting a Windows dialog telling me that LabWindows/CVI has stopped working when I try to open a file from the project file menu. I also get an error when I run a project debug mode and use a selectFilePopup in the code. The error says, "The program has suspended execution at address 0x75D5025E. No source line information is available." I've tried removing and reinstalling CVI to no avail. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your response. I've attached screnshots showing the version details for kernal32.dll and ntdll.dll. I also looked at the updates to see which might have been installed when the problem started. Unfortunately there are 15-20 updates every month. I didn't take note of when the error started to occur. At first it only affected my ability to open files from within the project (i.e. file->open->Source, etc). Then I went back to modify a project that had a SelectFilePopup and found that that wouldn't work either.

ITunes stops working when I plug in my iPod touch!

My itunes will work fine when my ipod touch isn't plugged in. When i do plug my ipoD in iTunes will immediatly pop up with "iTunes has stopped working" when I look at the error report it says something about APPCRASH.. I really don't want to sell my iPod.. And when I try to upgrade my iTunes it says something about the signature being wrong..? Please help
