ITunes 11.3 Wi-fi Sync Problems

Hi, since I upgraded iTunes to the last version (11.3) I couldn't synchronize my iPad anymore using Wi-Fi.
I have an iPad 2, iOS 7.1.2 and my MacBook Pro has OSX 10.9.4.
I tried everything, checked all the settings of the Wi-Fi synchronization, rebooted my router and my computer but nothing worked.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

    Hello Laura,
Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to sync your music to your iPhone.
I recommend trying to resync.  You can resync content to the iPhone by unchecking "Sync Music" and then clicking "Apply" and then checking "Sync Music" and then clicking "Apply" again:

  • Itunes 11.1.3.8 sync problems with iphone 5 - help?

I have an iPhone 5 and I am using itunes 11.1.3.8.
I noticed that a few CDs I recently imported were not syncing onto my iphone.  After a few tries at syncing, I noticed that under the 'On this iPhone' section the songs from these CDs were listed but were faded and had grey dotted circles next to them.  A few more syncs later and now pretty much all my music content has disappeared from my iPhone.  Every single song that I had before is still in my music folder on the iphone, but if you try to play any they just fade and come up with a red download circle and a stop button and the player skips through load of songs until it get to one that is still saved on my iphone.  I had about 1100 songs before and although all of them are still in my music folder, the only ones still working are about 40 that are in a playlist I created and a few videos and songs that I never had on my iphone before because they were unticked in my itunes library but have suddenly synced onto my iphone.  I had about 3gb free space before, when I sync it lists correctly how much should be there, but then it does a very quick sync and goes to having 7.5gb free.  Incidentally, even though only 40 of the 1100 songs are working, in settings it says there are about 840 songs on my iphone.  Even though the music has been the only real thing affected, the data on one of my apps has completely disappeared.
I have scoured the internet and nothing seems to help.  I have tried to deselect all my music so it is all removed from my iphone but when I sync it just goes back to the same thing.  I can't restore it to a previous backup because the only backups remaining are ones after this occurred.  I have tried Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.  I have tried reinstalling itunes.  I have deleted itunes and reinstalled it again.  I have signed out of my itunes store account.  I have tried manually selecting songs but it wont allow me.  I have tried unselecting the tick box saying 'only sync songs ticked'.  I have deleted all my temporary files on my computer and cleaned out the registry.  I have turned my computer off and on.
I have a feeling it may be somethign dodgy with itunes 11.1.3.8.  I only downloaded this update within the last two weeks.  It synced once before and synced earlier on today without these problems occuring apart from the recent CD imports syncing.  The only difference today is that I added a £15 gift voucher to my itunes account and bought a song.  When I bought the song, I did so through a cashback website.  When I clicked through from the cashback website, itunes wa already open, and it seemed to refresh when I did this.  Incidentally, this song is one of the few still in my iphone and working.
Can anyone help me with this?
    Thanks

Thanks, I read the info, but it does not mention the IOS version.
Are you using yourself this combo of software?
Background: In The Netherlands I am getting the info on an Apple User group that there would be no iTunes Sync possiblity anymore with the intro of IOS7, which I cannot imagine, or at least don't hope so. They say that IOS7 does not have those sync possibilities anymore, so I would be forced to use iCloud.

  • Itunes 11.2.2.3 sync problems iphone4

    Hi,
Your assistance will be appreciated here.
OK, I'm looking at a Macbook (2.1 with 1gb sdram) running 10.6.8 with itunes 11.2.2.3 trying to sync with an iPhone 4 (not an 'S') with iOS 7.1.2 uptodate.
Since the iTunes 11.2.2.3 update a couple of days ago, my first sync since, with iPhone 4 to change track resulted in most music not being removed from iPhone 4.
Checking other discussion topics here, I have rebooted both Mac and iPhone; in iTunes I have un-ticked 'sync' and manually removed all tracks from iPhone and
manually moved a few albums to iPhone and applied changes.
Still, the previous tracks remain on the iPhone and the new manually added tracks have successfully transferred.  Strangely, the previous tracks on the iPhone are NOT showing in iTunes on my Macbook.
So it seems I can add but not subtract...?
I was contemplating removing iTunes and reinstalling but before I go down that path, any helpful suggestions out there?
    Thanks
    Quids

I was with apple the whole day and we did a lot of trouble shoooting but nothing worked.
This is the link I stumble on and it solved my problem
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6227039
Delete the syncservices folder from application support folder in the users library folder
    How to go there
Finder > Go > Press Option file on Go > Library pops out on Go drop down > Library > Application Support > Sync Services.
Pull Sync Services to your Desktop. Restart Computer then iTunes. After that plug in ipad with card and see if device is recognised under iTunes File list. Make sure the iMac is recognised under General settings.
This worked for me after lot of strugle to find a solution. Hope it works for all of you. Good Luck!

  • Itunes 5 and 5.1 sync problem

I downloaded iTunes 5, but didn't sync my pod once I heard about all of the problems that people were having, so I waited for ver 5.1 and synced my pod though I get a message saying that not all the songs on iTunes can be copied over to my pod because the software is outdated? any ideas?

Then you need to download the latest version of the iPod software updater, install it and run it. Connect the iPod when told, and choose update to update the iPod to version 2.3. Then try again.

  • ITunes 11.1.3.8 sync problem problem

So I updated my itunes yesterday, but ever since I did that, when I sync my phone it gets a really weird name instead of my actual one (which is Marcos's iPhone) My iPhone is an iPhone 4 and its updated to the latest software..
Then, when I actually go into the phone screen, it changes to this:
Also, when I insert songs into my phone now, despite them being totally fine and playable on my itunes iphone page, on my actual iphone they dont and are stuck with a stop button forever there, like for Paper Planes
Does anyone know a solution to this? I'm really lost on what to do

This is a pretty common problem that Apple refuses to admit they have. This is how I finally got my 4s up and syncing.
After days of getting frustrated I finally found a solution: Don't use itunes to sync music. After going through pages of possible solutions (restores, syncing albums one at a time, removing all music, deactivating accounts, making a call while syncing and various other things) as well as trying to contact apple support (Which was a joke--They wanted to charge me $19.00 to get help for a problem with their software), I change my Google search terms to "how to sync music without itunes" and  I found a program called CopyTrans Manager for free. It only took me a few minutes to add the new tracks to my iphone. It automatically organizes it the same way itunes would and you have the option to make your own playlists. Best of all it synced the first try! Itunes is now dead to me. Now I just have to figure out what I'm going to do with all the free time I have since I'm not going to be spending hours banging my head at my computer ready to throw my phone out the window.

  • ITunes 10.1, Outlook 2010 Sync-Problem

    Dear Apple community,
My name is Thomas, I'm 27 years old, come from Austria and i am new here.
As it´s most, I came to this forum in search of a problem solution.
Unfortunately, I have not found this solution yet, so I opened this thread.
    Here is my problem:
I use a PC with Windows 7 Business, Outlook 2010 and iTunes 10.1.
Now I would like to synchronize my Outlook contacts using iTunes on my iPhone.
But in Outlook, I have several contact folders, as well as Private, professional, etc.
With Outlook 2007, I was able to synchronize the contacts folders i want with iTunes.
In Outlook 2010 the option to select the contact folders i want no longer appears in iTunes. I can only select the option to synchronize all contacts.
    So my question:
Are there any known problems when you synchronize multiple contact folders with Outlook 2010 and iTunes 10.1?
Is there a trick, that I can see my individual Outlook contact folders in iTunes again?
    Thank you for your help.
    Regards,
    Thomas

This was reported months ago, but Apple don't care enough to fix it.
If it was just Outlook 2010, I could understand the problem was with Microsoft, but I have experienced the same problem with Outlook 2007. I have even gone back to using iTunes 9.2.1.5, and still I can't sync my calendar with Outlook, which has rendered my iPod Touch useless since I have to use my old iPaq Pocket PC.
Had this bug been fixed, I would have bought an iPhone.

  • ITunes Match and iPod Classic sync problems

    Hi all,
I've recently signed up to iTunes Match and use iTunes on my Windows PC (at home) and MacBook Pro (at work). I also use an iPod Classic which I sync with the Windows PC.
I've had an issue which has happened a few times when I sync. I think the problem occurs when iTunes is open on both the PC and the Mac, but I'm not sure.
When I sync my iPod, it increments play count, and updates the recently played playlist as normal, but every now and then, I am asked to sign back into iTunes Match, and when I do that, all play counts from the ipod sync disappear. The Recently Played playlist also no longer has songs played on the iPod included. However, on the "last played" field, the correct date and time of when the song was played in populated.
The iPod is where I listen to music most often, and I would really like to keep the play counts up to date, but I can't figure out what is happening.
Has anyone seen this before? Any ideas if I can resolve this?
    Thanks.

The same thing happened to my iPod. It shows that it has no songs, but when i checked the iPod's memory, it was using the same amount of space as before (i had 52 gb of music, now it's just 52 gb of... nothing).

You should sync your ipod to your computer regularly.

Since hardware cannot be changed with software, perhaps you would be so kind as to post the exact wording of the message?

You may want to reset warnings on the device by right->clicking on it under Devices and choosing Reset Warnings.  Then resync the iPod to see if any alerts appear.

  • IPhone 4s Sync problems to iTunes on Win 7

I have my iPhone 4s and iTunes set up for WiFi syncing.
I plug the iPhone into power, have iTunes up on the same network.
But I never see the iPhone show up under Devices.

    Restarted iTunes. Restarted AppleMobileDeviceHelper.
    Finally connected.
