ITunes 11 - can't figure out how to authorise computer

I need to authorise my computer so I can get songs from my laptop (Windows) to my iPod touch (4th gen) but I can't figure out how. I have searched and evey answer is the same but doesn't work.

Latest iTunes, can't figure out how to select a movie to transfer to iPad

From older versions of iTunes I used to select the device>movies and select which movies/videos/playlists/etc from my library I wanted transferred, then sync.
Now going to movies only shows which movies are currently on the iPad; I can't see how to remove or add to that list.
I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow and planned to copy over a season of a TV show or a movie or two, but now I can't figure out how.
Need answer quickly if possible so I can sync overnight. Thanks

Transfer Manually
Step 1
Connect your iPad to your computer. If you have Wi-Fi synchronization enabled, your iPad will connect to your computer automatically, provided the computer and iPad are sharing the same Wi-Fi network. If you do not have Wi-Fi synchronization enabled, connect your iPad to your computer using the USB dock cable that came with the device.
Step 2
Launch the iTunes application on your computer and click your iPad under the Devices heading.

Click the “Summary” tab in the main panel of iTunes.

Click the check box labeled “Manually manage music and videos.”
Step 5
Click the “Apply” button.
Step 6
Navigate to the Movies or TV Shows section of your iTunes Library.

Drag and drop your videos onto your iPad under the Devices heading to transfer them.
Transfer Automatically
Step 1
Connect your iPad to your computer and launch the iTunes application if it does not launch automatically.
Step 2
Click your iPad under the Devices heading.
Step 3
Click the “Movies” tab to transfer movies onto your iPad. On the Movies screen, click the “Sync Movies” check box.
Click the “Automatically include” check box. Click the “All” pull-down menu and select the number of movies you want to transfer onto your iPad. If you want to select movies individually, leave the “Automatically include” check box unchecked and instead check the box next to each movie you want to transfer.
Click the “Apply” button to transfer your videos.
Step 4
Click the “TV Shows” tab to transfer TV shows onto your iPad. On the TV Shows screen, click the “Sync TV Shows” check box.
Click the “Automatically include” check box and select the number of episodes to include on the pull-down menu. Click the “Selected shows” pull-down menu and click the TV shows you want to include in your automatic transfer.
To select shows and episodes individually, leave the “Automatically include” check box unchecked. Scroll through the list of shows under the Shows heading and click the check box next to the show you want to transfer onto your iPad. Click the season containing the episode or episodes you want to transfer, then click the check box next to each episode you want to transfer.
Click the “Apply” button to transfer your selected videos to your iPad.

Edit > Preferences. Select the check box for Ringtones, this will add them to the listing in iTunes.

I am having trouble setting up icloud it keeps sending me back to install instructions and I'm just getting frustrated. So far I'm not liking the new itunes I can't figure out how to look at my duplicate music like I used to.

I can't sign on to icloud. It says I need an icloud account. I click the help option it send me back to the same page. I reinstall it nothing.

Connect your iPod to the computer with the provided cable.
Open up iTunes.
You should see your iPod in the Device list.
Click on it.
Choose what you want to sync to your iPod and then click Sync.

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

Can't figure out how to add songs to my iphone with itunes 11.

I can't figure out how to add songs from my itunes library to my iphone. I used to just drag the songs from the library to my phone, but now that won't work. It's probably something really simple that I'm missing, but it's frustrating me. Can anyone help? My phone is the iphone 4 if that matters.

Can't figure out how to turn the Sharing control back on in iTunes

Recently, I have begun using Limewire to download music. A few days ago a message came up on my computer that said something like "The Sharing Control on your iTunes playlist has been turned off".I can't figure out how to turn it back on, and I have done everything.Please, someone help!

Well, there could be one of two problems, your Itunes sharing could be turned off, or your limewire sharing could be turned off.
To fix it in iTunes:
Click Edit
Choose preferences
Click on the parental controls tab
Uncheck the box that says "Disable Shared Libraries"
To fix it in Limewire:
Find the options window
On the left side there should be an options for iTunes
Click on the arrow and one should allow you to automatically share with iTunes

Wow you're kind of a iTunes bully. Dude the reason I am asking for advice and help is I am completely computer ********. If I knew the answer I wouldn't be asking. Anyways. Question to anyone else.
If I have no music on my iTunes at all and no music on my computer, hard drive or any other version of storage yet there is a playlist on my iPhone. While my iPhone is plugged into my PC and my iTunes is up, is there a way to swap my playlist from my iPhone to my iTunes? Directly? Without downloading some new media source or backing up my old media source from my history. The reason everything was deleted (iTunes and media source) was due to the size of everything and space it was requiring. I am simply trying to get 233 songs from A to B.
I have tried magic but it is not working.

Can't figure out how to remove select music from my iPhone 4 with the new iTunes

My old PC with all my music on iTunes died, and I need to remove some music from my iPhone 4 to make room for the new OS update. I downloaded iTunes on a different computer and tried to sync the iPhone to it, to move all the music on my iPhone to iTunes so I could deselect what songs I wanted to remove to make the storage space. I can't figure out how to do this with the new (non-user-friendly) iTunes update. When I sync the phone, the only songs that show up are the ones I have purchased on iTunes, but non of the songs/albums that I transfered from CDs. I don't want to reset my phone to delete ALL my music, just select songs/albums. Can anyone please help me figure out the new iTunes to be able to do this? It is driving me nuts and I'm getting really mad at Apple for their constant updates making things less easy to use!

If you run into the "another installation" message even after the reboot of the PC (which is an excellent idea by HTP ProXy), reregistering your Windows Installer Service is worth a try.
First, launch a command prompt as an administrator. In your Start search, type cmd then right-click on the cmd that comes up and select "Run as administrator".
At the command prompt:
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /unregister and hit enter.
Type %windir%\system32\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Type %windir%\syswow64\msiexec.exe /regserver and hit enter.
Restart the PC and try another reinstalll.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to download the new 11.1 ver of iTunes. When I plug my iPhone or iPad, the computer tells me to download the latest version. I have been looking for almost 3 hours now. HELP
