HT1386 I downloaded Itunes 11 and now my Iphone 5 crashes everytime I try to sync it?
I downloaded Itunes 11 and now my Iphone 5 crashes everytime I try to sync it; I am using Windows 7. It has also wiped all my current music off my phone. I have searched google for this problem and I'm just reaching dead ends or solutions for Mac's. Is anyone having the same problems? I have turned the phone on and off, restarted my laptop, used different usb ports but nothing is working. Please help!
When I've uninstall iTunes and reinstall, I find all the same settings in iTunes like one my playlist! But I'm not sure at 100% of that, sorry! But I'm completely sure that your music must will reamain in iTunes and you don't have to reaload that in your library. Maybe wait another answer for safety

Everytime I open itunes I get a message saying itunes has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution
I have the same issue. An iTunes help page (iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues - Apple Support) suggested I hold down shift and control when clicking to open iTunes, which opens iTunes fine for me. That would mean the problem is in the third party plug-ins that work with iTunes. However, the help pages did not say what to do with the plug-ins once I knew that was the issue. The pages said to find the plug-ins and move them to the Desktop, which I did. That's where the help pages stopped, which is ridiculous. Does anyone know what to do from there?

I just installed 64 bit iTunes on my new Dell Latitude PC. Everytime I try to open it I get an error "iTunes has stopped working..."
I requested this be relocated from iTunes for Mac to iTunes for Windows. You'll get a faster response on the correct forum.

I have iPad 2, iPhone 5s, both with iOS 7.1.2. I use PC with Windows 7 and hard wire internet service and iTunes to update apple products; no wi-fi. I updated iTunes to v11.4 on 09/11/14. I ran Windows update on 09/10/14. I did not try to open iTunes on my PC until yesterday 09/16/14. I got the message: "iTunes has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I got the same message today. Does anyone know if this is a Windows problem and if a solution is coming or an iTunes problem? I can get iTunes on iPad and iPhone. All other programs PC are working correctly. I use Norton Internet Service on PC. I ran virus scans and repair/reinstall iTunes yesterday on PC.

iTunes64Setup.exe, even after multiple times of uninstalling and reinstalling with even a fresh download crashes with the message:
"iTunes has stopped working. A problem [unspecified] caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you IF a solution is available." I cannot get out of this loop and it renders my iPad HD useless. I tried calling the Apple Store but was referred by an automated system to this web site. I tried looking up the problem in the FAQ but it didn't help.
merylewHi there Nok Saensanoh,

I made the unfortunate mistake of upgrading my ipod touch to ios 6 and then had to update itunes. Lots and lots of issues with that, losing my library, not able to add what was already on my ipod to itunes, and I have no idea what version of itunes I had before but this new updated version works differntly... like I could make playlists with videos w/o having to do the dumb manipulation of changing a movie into a music video.... anyhow. Whar can I do to be able to play videos from itunes?
Let's try the following user tip with that one:
iTunes for Windows 10.7.0.21: "iTunes has stopped working" error messages when playing videos, video podcasts, movies and TV shows -
I'm using a Dell PC with windows 7. Apple Store cannot open completely. An error message states- iTunes has stopped working, close the program.
I have spoken to at least 3 Techs with no solutions found for this problem. Compatibility mode turned off. Newest Download from Apple site.See HT203206: iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.
