Itunes 11, is difficult, what can i do
it is unusable and even more un personable than the last one, can I change anything at all and stop the cloud showing up because it is so annoying, and in the last one i had my backgroung set as black, everything in grid view with small icons and it all organised with descriptions and album names from Cds which did not appear (and dare i say, youtube ripped files) in the 'gracenote database' can I remove the cloud feature as it is also messing up my TV shows library, by putting the options to download them from the cloud, but I have stored all of them which are currently not on series pass to my external hardrive in order to save space... what can I do, I hate the cloud feature!
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Model iPod 2 Touch, 8G, It stoped working less than a month after it was purchased but I never sent it back for repairs or warranty to Apple.. Is there still a way to repair it on my own. - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer

Tried several times to unload all old files. Keep getting tthe same message "unable to uninstall iTunes update files:. What can I do?

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) downloaded from the Apple Website:

What happened to them? They can't just disappear? Have you changed computers or re-loaded the OS since the last time you synced? Do you have a backup of your computer from when they were present in iTunes? Were they ever present in iTunes?

help suppose to redirect you to apple knowledge base and "something" blocks you secure connection as well as connection to apple server over your browser window. Two things usually do stuff like that. Security on your computer. Or very good network firewall. I find security on your computer more likely, since when you press help browser is not even opening for you.

I found this article while researching iTunes quitting unexpectedly on Windows 7 and feel it will help to resolve the issue here.

It starts with troubleshooting 3rd party plug ins, then moves on to account troubleshooting if needed.
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any inference with plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down the Shift and Control keys while opening iTunes. If performed correctly, you should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
After clicking Continue, determine whether the issue you were experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you see the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the Create a New User Account section below. If you do not experience the same issue, consult iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-insfor steps on how to remove third-party plug-ins.

What can I do to see items that I have purchased but upgraded to iTunes Plus? They are not showing in my iCloud as purchased, but I still can see the original protected versions from old backups. The original was downloaded with my iMac but the computers hard drive has burned out and needs to be replaced.

Thank you.Thanks for the reply although I'm not too happy to hear it. What's awesome about the cloud is no longer having to keep up with any physical media. The promise of that is realized with everything else (my work, music, books) besides movies and TV.
I wonder how Google Play will handle movies/tv that becomes unavailable? Google Play does allow you to download media in some circumstances (on Android and iOS) but is generally intended for streaming. Maybe relying on a physical copy as I do with iTunes should make me more comfortable with it and not less.

Updated to 10.6.7 but no app store. Deleted and reinstall itunes, still nothing. What can I do?
I have a Mac Book Pro and recently updated to 10.6.7. I had an issue with my app store loading so I deleted and reinstalled using itunes, thinking reinstalling itunes would help, but nothing, no app store that is.
