I have connected an Airport Express to an existing wireless network of multiple windows (2000 and XP) computers via a Linksys router. The base station is properly recognized (solid green LED, unit correctly identified in admin utility, and I was able to update the firmware to v.6.3 wirelessly) and I have it configured as a wireless client. I want to use it solely to stream music from iTunes to a remote stereo. When I open iTunes, there is no pop-up window offering an option to enable remote speakers. When I installed the airport software, it tried to install iTunes, but the installation aborted because I have a more current version. Rj in WI is correct. I just started using iTunes about a month ago after my wife got an IPod. It took me about an hour of frustration and reading the instruction before I saw in the bottom right of the window "my computer". You click on that and then you can change it to the Airport network. Unfortunately It appears you can only send to only one place. I have two Aiport Expresses and I can only send it to one of the Express devices, or the computer, but not to two or all three places at one time.

Can you enter text into "info" pop-up window for TV Shows?

It's not a big deal, but I was just wondering if there is a way (a script perhaps) of entering text into the little "info" pop-up window for TV Shows in iTunes? (You know the one...it pops-up when you click on the little "i" in the description box on the TV Shows main playlist)
The show files I made myself have blank info windows of course and it would be nice to be able to enter a decent length description of the episode (the character limit in the "Description" box is so short).
Like I said, it's not a big deal, but it would be nice to be able to enter info in there...so if anybody knows how...please let me know.

How can I add more chosen websites for quick access in the remaining empty fields in "file"-"new tab"? ing empty fields

I can´t add preferred, chosen, most visited or bookmarked websites to the 28,15 or 6fields in"file" - "new tab". I have a PC with Windows Vista and have been using Firefox with additional Google toolbar as my preferred or default browser for several years. I have downloaded several updates. I suspect that my version is now 4 or 5. Originally the Google for Firefox new tab feature showing chosen favourite or preferred websites for quick one click access worked fine but I seem to have lost the abiiity or forgotten how to add new such favourites for quick access. The "edit" button there on the bottom left can only delete valuable chosen sites, which then seem to the be lost forever. This edit button is very dangerous! The "bookmarks" and "most visited" tabs listed show a wild coincidental mixture of sites I once visited sometime but have nothing to do with my real favourites or chosen or most visited sites. So I don´t use these bookmark or "most visited" features.

Most visited would not be your bookmarks, but your tab history.
You can check that out via Ctrl+Shift+H then search on ":" (colon without the quotes). Sort on the "Visits Count" (descending) and you will see that they agree.

As far as the prices, the difference is likely the laptop version is the SD version and the iPad one is available in HD. That's the only reason you'll see a price difference. It has nothing to do with the device with movies/movie rentals. Apps yes, these no.

How can I shut off all of the pop-up windows for all the Firefox and Thunderbird updates?
Apparently now Mozilla creates new versions of their browser and email apps every two weeks instead of just creating updates... I'm tired of all of the pop-up requests for these constant installation requests and all the problems that the new version installations create... I just want to use the software and be left alone.
I can't find a way to make Firefox and Thunderbird stop with the pop-up requests for new installations... is there a way to do this or has Mozilla just got it rigged so one can't just use the software without re-installing a new version every two weeks and running in to new plugin issues and missing features every time?

How to Suppress the POP UP window for Print out Device

I have One ALV Grid report and in this report I want to SUBMIT another report which, when executes gives the POP UP window for Printer Device and sends the output to that device. if we give LOCL, sends output to Spool.
So I want to Suppress that POP UP Window and by default that POP UP window should take 'LOCL' as Printer Device.

On the submit command is a spool parameters option.
The addition WITHOUT SPOOL DYNPRO suppresses the print dialog box that is displayed as standard when you use the addition TO SAP-SPOOL.
The addition SPOOL PARAMETERS is used to transfer the print parameters in a pri_params structure that belongs to the data type PRI_PARAMS from the ABAP Dictionary.
PRI_PARAMS-PDEST specificies the output device.

Why doesn't pop-up window for serial number open?

My mother has bought the Lightroom 5 CD and is installing it but for some reason when she clicks ther installed Lr icon as told in your instruction, the serial number is not requested. The whole window with the empty boxes for serial number does not appear. I'm not sure what she has done earlier but she is saying she hasn't been able to give any serial number to her Mac (she has had earlier version in other MAc but is facing major problems with this new Mac and Lightroom, she has had trial version in this Mac). So, could the problem be that she has removed some Adobe Acrobat reader, Java, Adobe ActiveX or something and that's why the pop up window for serial number does not appear or has she managed to activate something which is blocking something or if she has already put serial number somewhere could that be blocking the process? How to change the serial number? Does Lightroom require some other sw like cloud or sth?

Sorry, but I have already tried this too and verified that the web addresses are listed as Allow, rather than Block. After restart there was no difference, I still get the disappearing pop-up windows.

Have you heard of any issues like this occurring based on the number of tabs that are open in Firefox?
Just a thought, even though I have not heard of this as an issue before. I keep about 80 tabs open regularly, because of research that I am always conducting (I am a blogger, a writer/author, a technophile-especially Green Tech.,), email, work, etc.?
I do have a check in the box for Firefox to let me know if the number of open tabs is causing slow down or other issues.

Tell us some version numbers please, of your Mac OS versions and iTunes versions on both computers (two eMacs yes?).

Me too - running iTunes 10.5.3 on Windows 7. Will allow me to sign in to iTunes, download app updates and then if I either close iTunes or try to sign out of my iTunes account it all freezes. So frustrating, because my understanding is that iTunes saves the library file when exiting. So, everytime I update apps I lose all the downloads.

to to apple menu -> software update or system preference -> Software update
( you may try to use an old package on new system )
