Itunes 12.01.26 Crashes Synching Apps on NAS

Question

I am extremely disappointed that Apples has still not provided a fix to
iTunes crashing when it starts to synch apps following the release of iTunes 12
The crash happens every time I try to sync and just because my iTunes Library
iOS on a NAS Server
All worked fine until after iTunes 11.4
Shame on Apple for not getting round to fix this issue as there are an
enormous amount of discussion forms and people who have reported this to Apple
We run numerous Apple devices but following this issue and the debacle with
IOS 8.01 we are now considering getting rid of all our apple devises
We still have two iPhones that are updated to IOS 8.02 that are showing they
need to update to 8.01 !!
APPLE WE NEED AN ANSWER TO THE iTunes SYNCHING APPS ON A NAS SERVER LIBRUARY

There are several ways in which an add-on can cause iTunes to act erratically, such as those listed below:
- Loss of iTunes functionality, such as the Visualizer.
- Distortion or irregularity in the iTunes interface.
- Slow performance.
- iTunes won't open or quits unexpectedly.
- You see an alert while syncing stating "... cannot be synced. A duplicate file name was specified."
If you notice any of the above symptoms or other unusual behavior, you can disable any plug-ins not manufactured by Apple by opening iTunes in Safe Mode. This is done by holding down the Option and Command keys (on Mac OS X) or holding down the Shift and Control keys (on Windows) while opening iTunes. If performed correctly, you should see the following dialog before iTunes finishes starting up:
"iTunes is running in Safe Mode. Visual plug-ins you have installed have been temporarily disabled."
