ITunes 4010 error with Match, never completes

I've been trying for days to get iTunes Match to work, and it always gives me a 4010 error. I don't know what that is. It never completes.

That didn't work. Further, I see a new $24.99 charge every day, though it always gets resolved before the transaction is completed so I really only have a single charge that occurred, but a new pending charge every day. Something is clearly wrong.
Any ideas? I have around 10,000 tracks, most of which I wold expect to be in iTunes. At one point around 7000 were in a "waiting" status, but I kept receiving the error. The other ~3000 were in an "error" status.
Now everything is in "waiting" with the 4010 error happening quite quickly once I manually update iTunes Match.

I get the 4010 error but I get it at the beginning of step 2. After looking at these discussion boards, I think I will just request a refund. Remember when Steve Jobs said about iCloud, "It just works." Well, this JUST DOESN'T WORK for me. I have no desire to spend hours troubleshooting a product that should work. In a year or two when it does hopefully work, I will try again. For some things I will spend hours trying to fix it. Not for this product. It either works great or it is worthless or as Jobs would say "****". It's funny as I love Apple and was a convert from the time I bought iPad2 and now have several Apple products, which are fantastic. But not this one - at least for me.

caused by itunes connecting to iphone 3G (good ole locked at 4.2.2 one)
it does this once or twice, before it grabs device and mounts it into itunes. i don't know if this is just itunes getting impatient with a device that's slow by comparison to newer models it was expecting.
on plus side, the new update seems to have fixed the other error that's spam console every minute endlessly for entire duration a device was plugged in

I tried something else. I created a new account on my computer, launched itunes, and plugged in the iPhone 4. The summary screen came up. I subscribed to a podcast, clicked on the iPhone (not crashed) and synched podcasts. Synch completed ok. Other iPhone content is not affected.
So something is wrong with my account on this computer? Where are account stuff stored for an iPhone or iTunes? Or is it something else?

Match never completes?

Hi - subscribed to Match and get to the page where it says "start" and it begins gathering info, etc . . . then just keeps switching back to start. Never gets completed, never get to a place that says "done". Any ideas?

You mentioned that you have only completed step 1 once. Did you complete that match process?
Try holding shift key whilst turning off match. Close iTunes and reboot your computer. Launch iTunes and sign back into iTunes Store, then add match. You will be asked to add the computer. Do so and let match complete process. Make sure that you do not let computer go to sleep as this may interrupt the match process.
Before going through the above procedure, it may be worth try a reboot of you Internet router.

Itunes states "ipod detected but could not be identified properly" when I plug in my new nano. tried uninstalling/reinstalling itunes 6 times - get pop-up "itunes helper error" with abort, retry, ignore options. retry doesn't work

I am trying to connect my new nano to my iTunes account. I keep getting msg "ipod detected but not identified properly. disconnect and reconnect. if problem persists uninstall/reinstall iTunes". I've uninstalled/ reinstalled iTunes 6 times but keep getting the same msg.
when installing iTunes I get a pop-up "iTunes helper error" check access. with options to abort, retry, ignore. retry doesn't work. ignore installs iTunes but it doesn't recognize my nano. abort shuts down the download.
how do I fix these problems??

Re. moving iTunes 11 library with Match to external drive

Hi
Firstly:
iMac 27" 3.06 GHz with 12GB RAM OSX10.8.2 and iTunes 11.01 (12)
I've read many of the threads regarding moving the iTunes library to an external drive. I want to do this as I have only got a 1TB drive in my iMac and therefore want to free-up some space on the internal drive.
I have iTunes Match enabled too which happily works between my other Apple products. So - at the moment, everything's working fine and I'm terrified of breaking anything!:))
Anyway - if someone could please help me with a step-by-step guide to moving my library so that iTunes (the program) would reside on my iMac, but the music/movies/books/apps etc live on the external drive which will then still work with Match, I would be so grateful........
Lastly, would there be any issues with doing this - ie would there be any indexing/searching issues or any other things I should be aware of that would stop me doing this?
I look forward to hearing from anyone who may be able to help.

ITunes 8003 error with Windows XP too

On Windows XP Pro I just downloaded 11 of 12 tracks. For the twelfth a 8003 error occured, with the message that the download was stopped because the network was interrupted. But the network is fine! I tried signing out/signing on and checking for purchases, but unfortunately the same result occurs.
Same than Kaderic on Mac...
What can I do ?

I think this is the site iTunes which was in trouble.
I suppose they have corrected the problem on this file since yesterday.

I have an Aussie Itunes account and I have now moved to the USA. I want to change my country so I can download apps for work but it tells me I have to cancel my match account. It is not due to expire till Jan 2015. I dont want to wait that long and would like to find a way not to lose my apps and and music from home as I have banking apps and things on my phone. Anyone have any advise??

ITunes Sync Error with iPhone

While sync'ing my iPhone 4S (iOS 7.0.4) with iTunes (11.1.4.62) running on Windows 7, it gets to Step 3 of 6, and pop up an error that reads "Unable to load SyncUICoreLocalized.dll". Tried repairing, and uninstalling/re-installing both iTunes and iCloud.
Any help would be great.

Ever since I installed the latest iTunes update, I've had a variety of problems. My iPhone actually lost all sound. I couldn't hear calls coming in, couldn't make calls going out, no reminders, text notifications, etc. So, I got my replacement phone yesterday only to find that iTunes no longer recognized my attached phone. I had to get tech support to help before I could back up my old phone and transfer data to my replacement. An essential driver had been corrupted. That got fixed, but then I couldn't sync. After nearly 6 hours, tech support still hadn't solved the problem - not for lack of trying. Anyway, I tried to sync again this morning and got the "Resource not found: Unable to load SyncUICoreLocalized.dll" message." I then happened to check in this forum and followed the lead from the post above.
I have an iPhone 4S and Windows 8 and use Outlook 2013. Here's what worked for me.
Close iTunes
Close Outlook
Open Control Panel/Programs
Right click on "Apple Mobile Device Support"
Select "Repair"
Wait a few moments ("Repair" doesn't show any indications of status, so I just wanted to be sure it was done.)
Open iTunes
Resync (I selected to replace my phone Contacts/Calendar from my Outlook, but that may not be necessary.)
Instead of Sync hanging for hours like it did yesterday, Sync took less than 10 seconds total. I didn't even have to reboot. YAY!

ITunes & Paypal error, I have never used paypal

When I recently used my phone to try and purchase an application update from iTunes, I received an error about paypal billing is not supported, please log into iTunes through a computer and update your billing information. I have never used Paypal, and when I log into a computer, my billing is to my credit card as it has been. Any idea how to fix this, and am I the only one that has experience this problem?

You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.
You can restore from a backup if you have one from BEFORE you set the restrictions passcode.

DB Adapter Completes but domain.log gives error and process never completes

I have a DB adapter that calls a PL/SQL package. The package performs some updates and brings back a return code of success or failure. This package performs a commit.
The package seems to do all the right things but when I try and view it in the BPEL console it never finishes. When I view the domai.log I get the following error.

I can't install iTunes, because error with apple mobile divice

Itunes communication error with device

Didn't happen for a while until sometime about 2weeks ago and before 8.1, my iTunes just updated recently will not except my iPod and says cannot not read the contents and there's something wrong communicating to it and the OS is not installed correctly and ask me to restore, I am not doing not since idk yet how to backup to iCloud since iOS 8 internally without iTunes backing up. and another msg saying to reinstall iTunes to install the os on the device.
Other than I can still access my stuff through third party software and access my photo's and it does charge even thou my cord is old and needs to be replaced since my cord is really wear and tearing clod to the middle. (the outside cord tearing down to see the inside like all apple cords do since they are so weak from the protection on each ends)
I just updated about an hr ago from 8.0.0 to 8.1 and still does the same.
this whole time while on 8.0.0 safari less crashed than it did so many times when i got a new one (7.1.2) from china to replace my old one on 7.0.0 due to my flash not working.
But even if my cord needs to be replace, my cord still connected and charge but the new iTunes asking me to restore the firmware even thou an hr ago i just updated to 8.1? any ideas?

ITunes Match never works!

I purchase iTunes Match four days ago. I only have 12k songs in my library. Match never completes step one. Errors 4002 and 4010 continuously appear. None of the solutions posted online have worked. What is the solution?

This looks like an Apple infrastructure loading issue. Would suggest creating a new empty library, configuring iTunes Match and importing 1000 Songs at a time - allowing iTunes Match to complete its cycle for each batch.
Of course this should not be necessary but many others have suffered similar errors - there are no indications of preferred routes from Apple direct.

4010 error

Ok, so I found my own fix for this.
For the Albums that appeared to only upload some songs with others greyed out on ITunes match with a persistent 'waiting' I used a different ripping software. Windows media player. Then I imported the same songs using iTunes to select the mp3 folder hosting the ripped files. They uploaded upon instigating the update iTunes Match. Afterwards I just deleted the still 'waiting' iTunes ripped files.
Hope this helps some with the 4010 error with uploading some files.
