ITunes 64-bit Download Missing

Hello, I'm an IT admin and trying to download iTunes 64-bit for a client from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
I found this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2721637
Wherein it says "Down at the bottom left (scroll down if necessary?), you should see:
64-bit editions of Windows Vista or Windows 7 require the iTunes 64-bit installer
... click the *64-bit installer* text to go to a downloads page for the latest version of the 64-bit installer."
Unfortunately the 64-bit download is not an option on my screen!
Yes, my Javascript is enabled.  Yes, I've disabled Norton AV.
I've tried this in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, same thing.
I've tried this on a different Windows 7 computer in Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome, same thing.
Here's a snapshot of the lower left of my screen...
Clicking "Get iTunes for Windows" just changes it to "Get iTunes for Macintosh"
I get no dropdown or other menu with options to download 64 bit versions.
The link is calling "javascript:applyPlatformspacificCode('win');initializeOtherDownload();" so I'm guessing that's where the problem is.
I'm guessing either someone at Apple changed something in that page's code recently, or a recent automatic Windows security update has knocked out the Javascript's functionality.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Reading this thread, i realize my response doesn't make a lot of sense.  Sorry 'bout that. I've been deesperately searching for help to get my iTunes running again and i've tried many different things. No such luck so far.

  • How do I get the itunes 64 bit download?

I already have itunes installed on my computer but I haven't been able to get my iphone to show up in itunes. So I think I'm missing this 64 bit download for windows you need. But I can't seem to find where to download it. On the itunes download page it says "itunes for Windows 64-bit" but it doesn't give you the option to download it. I've uninstalled itunes and reinstalled it but still no luck. My iphone just shows up as a camera and that's it. Does anyone have a link as to where I can download this??
    Thanks a lot

Are you running 64 bit Windows??

I've been getting timed out for 2 days now, what finally worked for me was not plugging the phone into the computer and just doing the update through my wifi, worked perfectly, took less than 15 minutes

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for performance issues or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Trying to download iTunes 64-bit version on my new Windows 7 PC. Getting the error 'could not locate "%APPDATA%". How do I get past this error? The software doesn't install. Appreciate if someone in the forum can help.

The backup and restore from the iCloud was a little unnerving since the restore erased all information from the iPod.  The iCloud backup and restore took a long time, but worked.  I was very grateful.
Trying again to backup to iTunes locally proved to be the same challenging problem.  The same backup to corrupt file was the message.  The status bar showing backup seemed to move faster to start, but then slowed to a creep toward the end before the error.
When trying to restore a backup in iTunes, the "Restore" button is grayed out since it is looking for a local copy.  Any restore would need to be from the iCloud which already worked but isn't the final solution.
Your suggestions were good, I am just in the same boat.  Any thoughts about doing the following?
    1) creating a cloud backup
    2) resetting the iPod to factory defaults
    3) removing all traces of iTunes from my computer and
    4) installing iTunes and setting up iPod from scratch.
This is the next thing on my list.

  • What version of itunes do i download that works with win 8 64 bit?

win 8 64 bit, what version of itunes can i download and install?

If you use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer the regular download page at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download may serve up the 32-bit iTunes installer. Use the 64-bit version of IE, or visit http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1615 instead.

  • Downloading iTunes 32 bit on a 64 bit machine

    Hello
I need the iTunes 10.5 32bit installer for my another machine that cannot access the internet.
But I'm on a 64bit machine and when I'm in iTunes download page it detects that then force me to download the 64bit installer and there's no option to choose for a 32bit installer
Is there anyone got the link to download the 32bit version of iTunes 10.5?
Thanks in advance for all the helps and replies

    Here's how I downloaded the 32-bit installer from a 64-bit machine:
Download and install Google Chrome from here, if you aren't using it already.
Run Chrome, and install the User-Agent Switcher extension from here.
Click the user-agent switcher icon on the toolbar, and select Firefox -> Windows Firefox 4
Visit the iTunes download page at: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You should now be offered the 32-bit download for Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

  • Where can I get a 32-bit Itunes? The download page keeps linking to a 64-bit version.

The Apple download pages keeps linking me to a 64-bit download. Not a 32-bit.

Itunes for windows 32 bit is 10.3.1 Go to apple downloads and type in itunes 10.3.1. Should give you a link.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

  • I rented a short film on iTunes but didn't have enough space for the HD version I paid for. I was unable to download it in SD for whatever reason and cannot seem to download my purchase on my desktop iTunes. Am I missing something?

I rented a short film on iTunes but didn't have enough space for the HD version I paid for. I was unable to download it in OR convert it to SD for whatever reason and cannot seem to download my purchase on my desktop iTunes. Am I missing something?

When you purchase an HD movie or show, in most cases the SD copy can be downloaded from your purchases area in iTunes. On the main iTunes Store page, go to Purchases under the Quick Links and then select Movies or TV shows as appropraite. Click the "Not On This Computer" button. Uncheck the "Download HD when available" box and you should then see the SD copies of the movies/shows and be able to download them.
Note that with digital copies from a Blu-Ray or DVD, if it comes with an HD copy, you normally cannot get the SD copy as well and have to purchase it separately if you want it.
    Regards.

If fore some reason you have failed to maintain a  backup copy of your computer, not good, then  you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
