ITunes 64 Bits executa apenas a versão de 32 bits no Windows 7

Olá gente,
Tenho um Windows 7 Professional com AMD Turion II e 8GB de RAM, o meu Windows é 64 Bits, porém quando baixo o iTunes, por mais que ele seja 64 bits, o iTunes é instalado na pasta Arquivos de Programas (x86) ao invés da pasta padrão de 64 bits e para confirmar, a execução do mesmo exibe iTunes.exe (*32), o que eu acredito que ainda esteja usando o de 32 Bits
Há alguma forma de resolver isso?

Try using the Software Update on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update. One thing to keep in mind if you are trying it on the computer is to make sure that you are not pressing any keys down when checking for updates as that may bring up a pop up window to find the update file.

ITunes fails to install automatically on Win 7 64-bit computer

iTune always fails to install automatically, and advises me to select to only download the updates, and then to install them manually. Well, there are five files that download: 1) AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi, 2)iTunes64.msi, 3)QuickTime.msi, 4) QuickTimeInstallerAdmin.exe, and 5)SetupAdmin.exe.
There are no further instructions as to which to install or in what sequence. So, I selected the iTunes64.msi, and after several "...verify that you have access to that directory" dialogue boxes, it installed -- (I do have version 10 now). But my iTunes doesn't say whether it is the 64-bit or 32-bit version that has been installed. How can I determine if I have installed the 64- or 32- bit version? And what do I do with the other files that were downloaded? Help, please!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.
Please note:
Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

iTunes 9.0.x is certainly compatible with Win7 64 bit since I use that exact setup on 3 different PCs. Two suggestions for your installation problems:
1)Download a new copy of the 64 bit installer from Apple then, instead of just running the itunes installer right click on it and try 'run as adminstrator'. In my experience that clears up a world of problems with program installation in Win7 and Vista. This is necessary even if you're already logged in as an administrator.
2) Try the previous version of iTunes (9.0.3). You can get a copy at http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php?old_itunes=54 again right click on the file and "run as administrator"

The prior uninstall included the establishment of administrator rights to files and folders left in the Apple folder after running the uninstaller, and successfully removing ALL visible and hidden Apple files and folders.

On Oracle Metalink site, there are many documents which says that Oracle 32 bit software works on 32 bits OS and 64 bits software works on 64 bits OS. Official support is only in those combination....
So there is no good way to help you in your case-XE is 32 bit application with hard codded compiled libraries which most of them would not work on 64 bit OS.

You already have Shockwave Flash 10.2 r152 installed for Firefox on the PC you used to post here, see your ''More system details...'' next to your posting.
There are no 64-bit builds of Firefox made, only 32-bit currently. There are some 3rd party builds floating around out there, but Mozilla doesn't allow them to be named Firefox - they would be called Namoroka for 3.6 versions. Mozilla does have a Minefield 64-bit build for 4.0-pre versions, but it won't be available as Firefox until probably Firefox 5 is released.
If your situation is with a different PC than what you used to post here: 
1.Download the Flash setup file from here:

Fallout75, good catch on the eXo plugin. To remove it, in the Finder click "Go" on the menu bar and pull down to "Go to Folder" and then type ~/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins
When that Finder window opens, you should see an "eXo" subdirectory. Just delete that "eXo" folder and iTunes should start without the error.

Try dragging the window away from its location, resizing it, then maximizing it. There's been a bug since iTunes 11 that doesn't always size the window correctly if set to run maximized automatically (which I've notice most particularly on dual-screen systems).

ITunes 64x (9.0.2.25) download is 32-bit!

st downloaded the Windows x64 build 9.0.2.25 for my 64-bit Vista OS. The installer and iTunes application are both 32-bit! The processes show as 32-bit in the task manager. Vista even defaulted to the /Program Files (x86)/ installation directory.
Is the application actually supposed to be 64-bit, or is it "64-bit compatible"?

Ah, I see. I assumed "64-bit" meant the entire application is compiled in 64-bit mode. If it were named "64-bit compatible", I would not have been surprised.

Cant use iphone in itunes becuse it says i need to install 64 bit. But i already have 64 bit and ive reinstalled it 4 times.
How do i solve it?

Solved it by opening the setup file in winrar and reparing "mobilesupport" (or something like that)

How to enable NX bit/eXecute Disable on Arch?

I have a CPU that supports NX bit / eXecute Disable extension, how can i enable it on arch? do i have to recompile the kernel (i have 2.6.23-ARCH) to use HIGHMEM64 or is there another way?

I recently switched to Arch64 and NX bit is still not enabled. Why?
I have a 64 bit CPU, NX bit is enabled in BIOS, I can't find HIGHMEM64 in /proc/config.gz, there is also no line in the logs stating that NX is enabled.
