ITunes 7.0.1 OR iPod Nano 2G has actually scrambled my music files

Recently I loaded several albums onto my new iPod nano. Upon playing some of the music I cam to find that two of my albums were altered; and not just in itunes. The actual files themselves have become a pastiche of samples from other .mp3/.m4a files. In some instances only a few 1-3 second bursts of a different song have tainted a file, but one album is completely eradicated. The prior files are now completely scrambled. I haven't been able to find someone with this precise issue and I'm wondering if anyone can advise me?

I've got the same issue... I keep different iPods for different used (music, podcasts, etc), and my 4gb Nano is used solely for podcasts. When I "upgraded" to the new iTunes, I was dissapointed to see that my managing options are just a few predetermined selections from Apple (i.e. "the 10 most recent", etc...).
I like the new iTunes, but I may need to downgrade as well...
Hey Apple, how 'bout a little help here?
