ITunes 7.5 can't find ITunes folder

I just got a new computer with Vista. Old computer was XP. I updated iTunes to latest version on each machine. I then followed the Support pages instructions for transfering my music and library to the new computer. Instead of using CD's or DVD's, I went with the method where you use the iPod hard drive to duplicate your stuff. I then successfully moved the iTunes folder containing duplicates of my iPod's music to my new computer's My Music directory as instructed. I also authorized the new computer.
iTunes on the new computer doesn't see the iTunes folder in the My Music directory.
Can anyone help?

I'm all set, I just lost my cool. I am not an "advanced" itunes/ipod user, but lately I've had to figure some stuff out.
My girl friend and I share the ibook. We both have our own accounts to itunes, both have our own ipods, both have our own log ins on the ibook. We ran out of HD space. So, lately I've had to figure out how to keep our music both seperate and shared at the same time (we like 75% of the same music).
I'm now getting into the "nitty gritty" aspect of itunes trying to manage all this music.
Thanks for your help in these forums, this is why I LOVE the Mac. I don't pretend that it's a perfect computer system, but it is great that I don't have to call India for a question.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

IPod Updater can't find bundle folder Binary-5

I seem to be having trouble even restoring my factory settings on my 60g ipod. I of course have been having the sync problem as well, NOTHING has transferred and now, when I run the updater I log the following message in the console, "iPod Updater can't find bundle folder Binary-5" I have no idea what this means. Also, when running disk utility I get the following: "Checking HFS Plus volume.
Invalid B-tree node size
Invalid B-tree node size
The volume needs to be repaired.
Volume check failed.
Error: The underlying task reported failure on exit (-9972)
1 volume checked
0 HFS volumes verified
1 volume failed verification"
Suffice it to say my ipod no longer appears in Itunes 5.0.1 nor on my desktop but I can see it in System Profiler and (greyed out) in Disk Utility. Also I'm unable to run Software Update by the normal means, I have to do so with a "sudo" command in terminal in order to install anything. Is this a possible permissions issue as well? Does anyone have any ideas that can point me in the right direction for correction?

Ok! Simple.
Plug in your iPod to your new computer.
Go to Files and click "Transfer purchases from iPod"
Now, this is the simplest way to put your purchased music on another computer.
You will be asked to authorize the new computer to have the iPod's content.
Authorize it. You have a total of five computers that you can authorize.
However, if not all your music has been purchased from an iTunes store, like CD's, you can download (among many other programs of this kind) iPodRip. Once you have downloaded it, plug in your iPod and within one minute, it will transfer all the iPod's content, music as well as videos and playlists..., back to the computer.
To put everything back to iTunes, click on the Recover Songs icon. A box will appear asking you if you want to load everything back to iTunes and/or Hard Drive. Check both options (or at least iTunes).
Wait for a while, the time for your music to load back, and voilà! Your iTunes will be just like the one you had.
Try that and tell me if it helped!

Can not find "Work Folder" in windows server standard edition

Guys, I have a testing lab and all is working with the exception of the fact that I can not find "work Folder" to install it. I'm using windows server 2012 standard evaluation copy edition. Normally work folder should be under >file
and storage service>file and iSCSI services. However, it is not there. Can someone help please

From the overview, Work Folder is not supported in Windows Server 2012 (only Windows Server 2012 R2).

After opening idvd program, I immediately get the message 'Can't find theme folder'. Instructs to search for theme folder or reinstall idvd. Can this reinstall be done from the Mac Leopard dvd? Custom install with out reinstalling ALL programs?

Try double clicking your HD icon, then click on your HD Volume (under devices in the left side bar), then click on Library you should be able to find StartUpItems there.

Did you log out of one account and into the other or just used Fast user switching?
Is the permissions set to anyone?
When you move data to teh Shared folder is it copied or just moved?
If copied then it's not a folder both can access, just a way station like a USB thumb drive that things are coped too and off of likely.
You can run this #5 on each user account to reset the user permissions once they are taken back out of the Shared folder

There is no access to your photos in the iCloud website. PhotoStream is purely a conduit for transferring photos added to or taken on one device onto all the others: photos are held there for only 30 days. It's not a gallery and there are no display facilities.

Logic can't find DAE folder

Hi, I was having trouble using Digidesign MBox on
my Mac G5 runnning Tiger and Logic Pro 7
It wasn't finding it in Setup Assistant
So I trashed all my Digidesign files (I used to but won't use
Pro Tools anymore on this Mac)
When I start Logic now, it says

open up "Audio MIDI Setup" (Applications/Utilities) and select this driver
for CoreAudio output.
Actually, don't do that.
For now, leave the output assignments in AudioMIDISetup to 'built-in' and just assign the MBox as the I/O in Logic. (Audio Hardware prefs)
Even though CoreAudio drivers are multi-client, using the same I/O for multiple apps can be problematic, especilly with DigiCoreAudio.
You will want to make sure it is working OK with Logic first.
When you assign Logic to DigiCoreAudio, the DigiCoreAudio manager app will start. Check that DigiCoreAudio Manager and Logic's CoreAudio driver settings are set to the same buffer size. (you'll have problems if they are not)

DAE: Can't find DAE folder in System folder

Every time I open Logic 8 the following message appears

What does it mean?

It means exactly what it says: Logic cannot find the DAE folder in your system Folder. Since you don't know what DAE is, I assume you are not using Digidesign hardware or - plugins, but you probably have DAE enabled in Logic. Go here to check & disable:

Imported photo's from computer, via Itunes, to iphone, now itunes can't find the folder with original pictures from Iphone or doesn't recognize it.

i just bought a new Iphone 5s, and decided to download Itunes and sync my Iphone with my laptop. Everyting went well until i decided to try out some things and i imported pictures via Itunes from laptop to Iphone. this is how i did it: Itunes - iphone - pictures - pictures synchronized from 'option choose map' - I chose another map - after, i 'ticked' box 'all maps'. Then i hit the button 'synchronize'. I forgot to look how the orignal map was called and this was the one Itunes syncronised autmatically with, that one also contaned all the original pictures on my Iphone. So, after putting some new photo's on my Iphone, i wanted to change the settings back to normal so my Itunes and Iphone could sync iphone pictures again. But I can't find the old map back or Itunes doesn't recognize the map. I already tried to use the map 'Ipod Photo Cache' but it shows only empty folders. I also tried computer - iphone - Internal storage or DCIM or 860OKMZO; No idea what that means but i thought that the last two folders can contain pictures. However, i get an error if select these ones a map in Itunes. How do I get back to the old settings again?
I hope I described the problem well; English is not my native language so i'm sure this might contain grammar mistakes.

When i connected the iphone to my laptop, i found the location of the pictures on the iphone; the a map called '860OKMZO' (i've mentioned this map earlier, this folder is located inside the folder DCIM). But if i try to open it with Itunes, this error comes up: 'foldername is invalid'. I figured that Itunes could have saved the synchronised pictures in another map somewhere else but i've found nothing...

I am Finding it hard when it comes to tranfering music from My Laptop to itune and from itune to iphone.
here are my issue, please let me know what am I doing wrong.
1. Lets say I have 'A' folder that I want in my itune, I go to file and then select Add folder to library. I get all the content from that folder to itune but it's all mixed up with my old content, its hard to find the folder that I just tranfred as a Folder name 'A'.
2. When I want to transfer music files to my Playlist, I select the songs I want and drag them to playlist, but some of the files get copy 3 times, why??
3. I just made playlist on my iphone, but when I connect iphone to itune, still that playlist name doesn't come up on itune in iphone section, why??
Why itune is so complicated??
why can't you just copy the folder you want to itune and from there straight to iphone where ever you want, simple thing but never works straight away.
when you syns one folder it might remove other folder that you still want and some time just remove entire music, so stupid.
all my collegue have same issue, cant get things you want staright away.
in my opinion itune is out of tune when it comes to simlicity, Apple should design this basic thing in such way that even person with basic computer knowledge can do it quiet easily, just like on windows phone. simple copy - paste and done.
please let me know what shall I do.
