ITunes 7.7.1 CRASH when connecting to computer with Windows Remote Desktop
I upgraded to 7.7.1.11 and now when I connect to my computer with Remote Desktop iTunes crashes. Is this a known problem? If so, where can I download a previous version of iTunes that doesn't have this bug?

are you still at iTunes 7.1.0.59? to check, go "help > about iTunes", and wait for the version number to scroll up from the bottom of the screen.
if you've got a 7.1.0.59, try upgrading to 7.1.1.5:
iTunes 7.1.1.5 installer
do you still get the crash when playing music with that in place?

It sounds very very much like the battery. You will need to have it replaced. If you put the failing one in yourself you will need to pay as your Warranty is now void.

Is it possible to connect to a Windows computer with Apple Remote Desktop?
Hey!
I just bought Apple's Remote Desktop program and I love it!
The only problem I have is that I can't just conncect to a Windows computer.
I need to do this!!
I saw in a screenshot in the Mac App Store that the Apple Employey had connected to a Windows computer so I thought it would work just fine.
Thanks!Should be, though I have no personal experience using it. VNC seems to be touchy with ARD, so if Vine doesn't work, you might want to try another version. Or just use Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac or a service such as LogMeIn; those would give you the same capabilities and probably be less fuss and bother.

Ipod crashes when connects to computer
My 20 GB Ipod has been acting funny the last couple of days showing me the battery sign with the exclamation mark, not allowing me to turn it on, I have managed to correct this by placing it on charge with the mains adapter. The Ipod now starts fine and plays all the songs with no errors but as soon as I connect it to the computer it crashes and freezers on the position it was left in, not even reaching the "do not disconnect screen". The computer only sees it as a un- recognizable USB device. I have to restart it to get it working again but as soon as I try and complete the connection with my PC again it crashes. There is also a new sound when I start the Ipod like 2 little faint beeps that have never been there before.
Please can somebody help as I use my Ipod as my hard drive plus over 2000 songs that are not backed up.
ThanksI still have no look with my pod, ive tried everything, it plays fine but will not connect to the computer and crashes, i am now able to get do not disconnect sign and the disk drive logo but it just freezers and stays on that screen. It also generates a Removable disk drive in My Computer but cannot access it.
Please can somebody help me out there

ITunes not D/Ling apps when connected to computer
So i buy the Plants Vs Zombies game on my iphone and i get the "Over 20 MB" error and it tells me to connect to a wifi or connect to my computer.
It also puts an icon on my phone saying loading.
I figure no big deal and i will jsut plug my phone in when i get home.
When i finally do connect to Itunes on my computer i goto the app store and look up plants and zombies and see thats it purchased. Clicking on my apps i see that i should be on my second screen "right next to the PvZ LOADING" icon.
Problem is that even though i sync and delete it and sync again, the installed version of the icon never shows up and the "LOADING" version of the icon remains.
It continually asks me to connect to a wifi network or to my computer ( even though it is )
Any suggestions would help
thanksI have had this happen before -- and resolved it by simply shutting down and restarting the phone. After restarting, the "loading..." icon should be gone (or you will be able to delete it), and then a subsequent sync with itunes should work normally.

ITunes 11.1.3 crashes when it starts on dell/windows 7 laptop
Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution?
Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 Debugger says this about the crash:
Unhandled exception at 0x088C0240 in iTunes.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation executing location 0x088C0240.
I have never had a previous version of iTunes crash on me like this before.
-StephenI uninstalled itues 11.1.3 and installed the v11.1.1 that my company's IT department was pushing.
It still crashes, but I get a different error.

I can't find a pull down at the Itunes store to authorize my new Dell XPS computer with Window 8... according to the support there is supposed to be one... Anybody run into this before?
There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them: -
Customizing single user connection via Windows remote desktop
Hi,
I would like to know if its possible to configure Windows Remote Desktop in a way that if a user is already logged on to a particular computer and another user tries logging in, an error message appears on the screen saying that a user is already
logged on.
I can limit the number of connections to 1 via:
Local Group Policy Editor > Admin Templates > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Connections
However, with this option, the error message that comes up on the screen is the following:
'This computer cant connect to the remote computer, try again or contact the network administrator'.
Is it possible to configure this in a way to let users know why they cant login so they don't think its an IT fault?
We are using Windows 7 on both the clients and the host.
Any advice would be much appreciated..
Thanks,
SeemaHi Milos,
No its not a server operating system.
The PC that we are connecting to is running Windows 7.
We are connecting to it using Windows Remote Desktop.
Thanks,
Seema
Hi Seema,
As Licensing agreement said, for Windows 7, you can only has one connection on this PC via RDP.
If another user wants to connect this PC via RDP, he will be notified you another user who has already logged in.

ITunes crashing when connecting to the store on Windows 8.1
Hello,
I had iTunes crashing when connecting to the iTunes Store with an Apple ID. I tried unsucessfully all the solutions posted on the many threads of people having the same issue. So I decided to reinstall Windows. A clean Windows 8.1 install from the Microsoft DVD. And guess what, it is still crashing! How can this even be possible?
The problem:
- iTunes crashes when connecting to the store with an Apple ID. It connects, briefly freezes, then crashes.
- I can access the store without an Apple ID without crashes. But it crashes as soon as I connect with an Apple ID.
The system:
- A clean, fully updated, Windows 8.1 Pro w/ WMC install from the Microsoft DVD.
- Applications I installed, along with iTunes: Adobe Reader, Google Chrome, Skype, Office 2013. Nothing else. No crapware. No nothing. These are fairly common applications that shouldn't conflict with iTunes.
- Antivirus is the built-in Windows Defender.
- Firewall is the built-in Windows Firewall.
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 on an Acer V3-571-6486
- I have not moved Apple's folder from Romaing and Local AppData of the old systems... So it's a clean iTunes profile.
- I can sucessfully sign-in to the iTunes Store with this account on another computer
- I have tried with multiple accounts on this computer, all crashing
There are tons of threads about this. I tried all the solutions posted, including:
- Adding "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support" to the PATH environment variable
- Copying QTMovieWin.dll from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes"
- Moving QTMovieWin.dll from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes"
- Updating the graphics card to the latest available driver from Intel's website (9.17.10.3517, 2014-10-04)
- Downgrade the graphics driver (9.17.10.3347, 2014-01-29)
- Use the graphic's driver from Acer's website.
- Use Microsoft's Basic VGA Driver
- Disable the Graphic's Adapter entirely
- Have tried to monitor the process with ProcMon, looking for a hint like a missing file or registry entry, but have not found anything helpful.
These solutions seem to have worked for almost everyone, but not me. The crash details in the Windows Application log are useless. Faulty module name is 'unknown'.
I am out of solutions. Is there anything left to do? Can anyone out Apple debug the dump file or something? Is there any way to contact Apple about this issue?
Many thanks.Hey zoyashahab,
Ok, so it sounds like there are two issues here we want to address, the first being the iTunes Store connection issue and the second being iTunes not recognizing your iOS devices.
First, I'd start with troubleshooting the recognition by following the steps in here:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1538
If after getting that running again, you still can't connect to the iTunes Store, then I'd go through the troubleshooting steps in here:
Can't connect to the iTunes Store

Tried updating my iPad wirelessly today. Process seemed to have gotten stuck and later wi fi crashed (in that order, I believe). Restarted iPad and got a picture of a wire leading to iTunes icon on the iPad screen. Nothing happens even when connected it to my Windows 8.1 PC, and iTunes doesn't seem to recognize the iPad.
Hello there, uromr.

ITunes 12.0.1 crashes when restoring iPad 3 iOS 8.1
Hi,
I updated our iPad 3 (err the new iPad) to iOS 8.1. In order to do so, I had to do the full restore process. We use W7P64.
iTunes now crashes all the time, so we have an iPad with black apps "waiting", and unstable iTunes 12.0.1, it crashes after about 1 minute. Great. Unstable iTunes, useless iPad.
Here's the error:
I've tried reinstalling iTunes, turning on "Prevent Devices from Syncing Automatically"
Any other suggestions appreciated. iTunes folder is on a network drive.Despite resetting iPad, uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes, Shift+Start iTunes and use a mapped drive for iTunes library, it still crashes when syncing. The only way to keep iTunes working, and remove the "Waiting" icons on 50+ apps, was to
Check "Prevent Devices from Syncing Automatically"
Uncheck "Sync over WiFi" when the device is connected in iTunes
I then deleted the "waiting" apps one by one, will reinstall from the iPad app store.
WP8.1 is just getting so much better, more quickly, than the iOS environment... -
ITunes 10.6.3 crashes when opening
My MacBook is running OS X v. 10.6.8, and iTunes 10.6.3 crashes when opening. This began happening when I was running the previous version of iTunes and 10.6.3 did not fix it for me. Suggestions? My iPhone is out in left field until this is fixed. Thank you in advance! Here is the crash report:

What happened to the love? You said," I enjoy using Apple products because of how easy they are to love."
Seriously, don't worry, somebody in the Apple Discussions Community will help you figure out what the problem is! I promise.
You see, one of the main reasons why Apple Products are easy to love is because of all of the kindhearted, kindred folks here who enjoy helping others. I try to help too, but I never get any points. My heart is in the right place though.
I don't actually have an iPhone myself BUT I know that sometimes when I connect with iTunes online, that there is a lag while the "Genius" is "analyzing my iTunes library". Perhaps that could have something to do with it?
Good luck -
Windows crash when connecting BB
I have 64-bit Vista SP1 with DTM 5.0.1 (sorry, don't have the exact build number handy - the machine is at home, and I'm at work). Everytime I connect my BB to the machine, it crashes with a BSOD. The machine was very, very stable for a long time, but all of a sudden it started this. Since it started this, it also occassionally crashes when I attach my iPod to the machine. This made me think it might be a USB issue, but I can't seem to find anything there.
I have tried removing all the USB drivers via Device Manager, then letting the machine re-find the USB ports, but that didn't fix anything.
I have not tried uninstalling DTM. I have another application that has an add-in to DTM, and I am afraid of breaking that and losing all those settings. That should probably be my next thing to try, but I'm scared
Anybody seen this or have ideas of what to try?I experience the same problem since this morning with my BB 9700 with my laptop running on Windows 7 Premium 32-bit.
Reinstalled desktop + rebooted the BB 9700 to no avail. Yet, it connects perfectly well with my other desktop compouter.
Help please.
