ITunes 7 and downloaded video?
Before upgrading I had downloaded 2 episodes of a tv show from the itunes store which played beautifully. When I went to buy the latest episode, it prompted me to upgrade, and reluctantly I agreed.
I downloaded the show I wanted on the new version, and it is completely unwatchable. It's like watching a streaming video clip on dialup. I can't go 30 seconds after opening itunes before the image begins to freeze up. Thinking that maybe the new version was using up more resources than the old one, I replayed the other two episodes I had downloaded the exact same way. They continued to play beautifully!
I paid to download this stupid show, and now I can't watch it? Does this have anything to do with the new version of itunes? Is it really my computer, considering that the other files played, and continue to play, completely fine? Was there a problem in the download? And most importantly: is there any way I can fix this? I'm left with precious few other options when it comes to watching, so I need to continue to download and I don't want to be throwing my money away.

Delete the broken links in iTunes then look at your purchased list to redownload.
If this happened because you were deleting files from the iTunes folder in Finder, don't. You have to let iTunes do all the deleting and moving or you will end up with broken links. -
My HDD crashed and it contained all of the music from which iTunes and iMatch pulled files from. Is there a way to recover the music from iTunes Match and download it back to my new HDD?
My computer HDD did not crash only my external drive with the music files. I have not had to reinstall iTunes software. The iTunes libarary is still complete and shows the complete list of music. I have also ran Update iTunes Match and all of the music is on the cloud.
I cannot play the music from iTunes that is on the cloud, however the music I purchased from iTunes did download and it will plan from my computer.
The matched or uploaded music is what will not download and I can't find a command that allows me to download from Match.
Sorry if I'm not being very clear, however I do really appreciate your help and suggestions. -
Hello, someone stole my sons IPhone today in his gym class. I have the "find my iphone app" on my phone BUT he is not a listed device. I went into his itunes account and downloaded the "find my iphone app" app under his account. When I try to log into "find my iphone" under his name on my device I get an error msg involving icloud......he is MUCH better at this stuff then I am BUT he is in school and now I need to figure out how to use the "find my iphone app". PLEASE HELP
It doesn't matter whick account you use to download the app.
You have to sign into the app (or iCloud.com from a web browser on your computer) with his Apple ID & password.
Find My iPhone will only work if it was enabled in the iCloud settings on the device and it was powered on with a connection to the internet -
i havent upgraded my iphone 4 to ios 4.3. Now when i try to back up in itunes, it doesnt recognise my iphone, but sees it as a camera, not giving me the links i need to back up. I have removed itunes completely and downloaded it new.

I am in Australia and wish to purchase a movie in the USA itunes store and download it to my windows 7 PC. Can any one help?
You can only buy content from your own country's store, to buy from the US store you will need to be in the US with a US billing address on your account. You can try requesting that the film be added to the Australian store, but unless the film studio/rights-holder agrees to it then Apple won't be able to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

i have the solution to the problem.first make an icloud email with the U.S or U.K store then go to setting and open app store and itunes store option......log out of the email adress u r signed in and then sign in using the icloud email u have created.when u r signed in then go to app store and download any app.they will review your account.choose the U.S store or U.K store then they'll use ur visa card but u have to choose none option and enter any address of U.S and telephone no.and i hope you'll be able to use itunes store.

I have a big problem, I don't know what I touched but when I open up my iTunes I can't see all the icons. The only icons showing are "podcast, iTunes U and Downloads" so in other words I can't find the movies, music etc. Which means I can't buy/rent!

So, I recently downloaded iTunes 7 and never really used the video features because I had an older 3rd Gen iPod. I got an iPod video for Christmas and have been trying to get the video feature working on iTunes. I had some videos in my library, and they worked fine in my older version of iTunes.
However, I have discovered that the new version does not play ANY videos at all.
It won't let me import videos on my computer (and I have made sure they are the correct size and format) and it simply will not play any videos I have in my library (some that I purchased from the iTunes store) and it will not load any videos onto my iPod video. Interesting, eh?
Is anyone else having this problem?
I tried to download an older version of iTunes, but it would not install. I re-installed the new version and the same problem happened. I've been pouring over the support sites trying to find out what is going on but haven't found anything helpful. I even tried to uninstall itunes so I could re-install an older version, but it still wouldn't install.
I'm at my wit's end! Any help?Someone I tried to help earlier encountered this problem. Let me know if the following link helps. They managed to figure out themselves what they needed to do. (Just mentioned that cos I don't like takin' credit for sumthin I didn't do)

ITunes freezes when downloading video
I have twice purchased TV episodes through iTunes. I was changed each time but no download took place. Each time, iTunes froze as the download was to start and had to be force quit. Selecting "check for purchases" in the advanced menue of iTunes causes the same freeze. I emailed tech support 5 days ago but have not received a reply.
My iTunes freezes lately no matter what kind of content I am downloading after purchase (audio or video). The progress bar starts up, and withing about 2 or 3 seconds, freezes. I've tried trashing my iTunes preferences, and have run the disk utility, but nothing I've done has corrected the problem.
Has anyone come up with a solution?

ITunes crashes when downloading video. HELP!!!!
I have a pc and itunes 6. I want to download video podcasts, but every time I try to download one, iTunes will freeze and the Windows error come up. It worked before I installed service pack 2, but now it doesn't. Can someone halp me please?!
If Zevoneer's suggestion didn't work you can try just
clearing your whole library by pressing Ctrl+A & Del,
then adding it again by going File>Add folder to
library and add the folders you want.
If that still doesn't work (it doesn't let you clear
the library), uninstall then reinstall iTunes. That
should clear the library.
Well, looks like the simplest solution was the correct one. I tried to delete my library but it crashed when it got to the problem line item. So I ended up reinstalling iTunes and the line item was successfully deleted. (Now I get to recompile my library of 7400 songs and 200 videos. I'll get back with ya'll next month!)

I purchased a box set of books on iTunes, and downloaded them. The title shows up in the "purchased" section, but when I try to send it to my iPod nano, I get an error message telling me it cannot be moved because it cannot be found. I can't find a screen anywhere offering the option to re-download either. I've paid for the books, but cannot access them! Every time I upgrade iTunes, it gets more confusing and harder to use.
Also I now can`t access any of my itunes library and am concerned that if I remove it from my computer I will lose everything as I have no option of accessing and therefore backing anything up. Any ideas?
