Itunes 7 problems

Hello
I updated to the new itunes and now it will not work AT ALL! an error message comes up " Itunes cannot start because it detec ted an error in your audio configuration" Needless to say i did not change anything after i installed the new itunes.
HELP PLEASE!

I am also havin problems. I have quicktime pro and do not want to lose it by deleting it. What the hades did they change that causes all this grief?

Ive got the same problem, just got my iphone unlocked, and they told me to sync it to itunes to get it permently unlocked, well everytime i plug my iphone in it says; it wont work as it needs up dating to 10.6.3, which i have already updated, but still doesnt work, so how can i get my phone unlocked?

Itunes problem with windows Vista

ok i bought my touchsmart tx2 1025 with windows vista ultimate 64 bit and well i ve noticed that ..well since this is my third time i exchange this computer and i noticed there was a problem with the speakers when i was playing music that anytime during a song i would get this distorted sound like when u put a lot of volume in ipod headphones that it sounds like a crack. Well that happened in my computer even with low volumes.
However I played two times the same song on itunes and two times on windows media player.
Every single time on itunes the sound came as if the speakers were about to blow... like a crack..
Every single time on Windows media player it never sounded like that.
So i am pretty sure its an itunes problem. Does anyone know how to fix this.. i would rather use itunes than windows media player but i really hate the sound it makes sometimes because it shows about 2 to 3 times during one song.

It's possible that the song your playing does indeed have a little audio distortion in it, some media players are capable of filtering it out in a silent way, others play a beep, hence with one song I have, if i play it in windows media player it goes on and then for a split second theres a beep, iTunes doesent seem to do it, so instead of filtering out the missing data, it plays it.
This is more likley a problem with the song than iTunes

I had a large part of it backed up on DVD's but it does not want to recognise them either?
Any tips?

You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.

(iTunes) Problem with Windows installer package? I try to install the new version of iTunes but get an error "Problem with Windows installer package. A Program required for this install could not be run." Can anyone help shed some light for me as to how to correct this? I have tried to install the program through Chrome, Explorer and FireFox but have had no success. I have included a screenshot of the error. Hopefully it's visable. Thank you for any help.

Hi..
Delete the app then reinstall.
Hold the app icon down until all the apps jiggle then tap the x then tap Delete. Press the Home button once or twice to stop the jiggling.
Then go to the iTunes store and re download the app.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
That should download the most recent version including whatever update was available.
You won't be charged again.

Problems with importing CDs - is it an iTunes problem or a computer problem

I just purchased a new iMac in August, and have had problems importing audio CDs into my iTunes library. Sometimes the computer completely skips over certain songs when importing or the songs are imported but have parts skipped over, almost like the cd is skipping while it is importing. This is happening quite frequently, and it is happening with cds that I know aren't scratched, etc, so there is no reason that I can think of that these wouldn't be importing just fine. I'm wondering if this is an iTunes issue or a computer issue. I don't want to bring my computer in to get serviced if this is just merely an iTunes problem.

No, just the touch events.
I think it's because I have an Apple multitouch pad but it functions as a mouse so it's actually sending two notices. It doesn't do it on a touch screen device nor does it do it when everything is switched to mouse events, so I think it's just unique to Device Central and this particular type of mouse.

Timezone & itune problem in iOS6

I am having timezone & itune problem in iOS6 in ipad3.
I earlier posted that when opening itune it's showing only a white screen.
Then i got some reply's to chage year date to next year(2012) and then change it back.Then open itune
or logout and login of itune a/c.
But both ways did'nt work for me.But now atleast it showing(cannot connect to itune)
But i notice another problem that when i change my timezone to auto,it goes on serching and can't get fix on timezone as live in india(delhi).I don't think that should be a problem as i also have ipod which is working fine.
May be both of this problem are related?

I fought this problem for WEEKS with no success. iTunes on Windows 7 x64. I tried running it as Administrator. I tried every fix I could find here and on Youtube and nothing. Any time I was in iTunes and switched focus to another Window like Outlook or something it would pop this error message up again. I reinstalled iTunes from scratch. This did NOT fix it, but it gave me a clue. I figured it had to be my iTunes library which is stored on an external HD.
After poking around in the library for a while I thought it might be a file that had been set to Read Only so I did an "attrib -r e:\itunes /s" to clear all of them all. This wasn't the problem but it alerted me to a file it couldn't clear. The file was iT.tmp and it couln't clear that because the file was corrupt. I deleted it but that still didn't fix it.
I finally did a "chkdsk e:\itunes /f" and let it run through. It found the error in iT.tmp, fixed it and now iTunes works fine again.

ITunes problem Since upgrading to window10, my ITunes cannot see the My Cloud drive, also I keep getting an error when my WC control panel tries to scan the content.This drive has worked fine for almost a year and since upgrading to windows 10 my smart TV's and my other devises can't find the drive I have updated the firmware, done a factory reset. but still have massive problems.Anybody any Ideas

This is what I did, In windows credentials from the settings menu I added a windows credential using the IP address, and then the name of the pc with log in details. But during my messing about I also mounted the drive and deleted my C:drive Itunes folder. then re scanned my music once I could set the parameters to the right folder.Its working but I have to admit I am not sure which one solved the problem. WD still working on a reply.Hope you get it sorted.

Possible Itunes Problem

Now As You May Know there has been itunes problems that while browsing through the album art the memory usage on the task manger becomes higher and higher, now i dont have alot of album art, but as i speak it is using 300,825 K which is alot for playing music, i am not even got any album art on, is there a way i can reduce this because it gets annoying when it reaches 400,000 k, even with a quite powerful computer being 1Gb Ram, 2 * 3.00Ghz Intel Pentium 4 Processors it makes things become slow at 400,000 k as it eats my RAM, Anyway i can stop this build up of memory?

Hey Kate60891, what you need to do is first enable disk use on your iPod:
1) Click on iPod name in iTunes
2) Make sure you are under summary tab
3) Scroll down enable disk use, and hit apply.
4) Restore the iPod
5) Everything should work fine from their.
If it doesn't post back here and let me know what happened, or what step you got stuck at.
