ITunes 8.1.1 TV Show listings

I recently converted DVDs to MP4 to play in itunes and eventually when I get an apple tv.
My Itunes library points to the folder on my Time Capsule harddrive.
Basically I dragged each season into itunes edited all the info changed it to TV Shows etc etc.
when I goto add them to my other computer; it shows up under movies and disorganized even though it has all the info except it says Music instead of TV Shows.
is there a reason why keeping it selected as TV Shows doesnt stay selected.
tv shows are in their own folder called tv shows and movies are in movies. etc.
I tried deleting them out my main computers library and readding and the same issue occurs.
I thought I remember there was a fairly practical fix but I have yet to run across it again.

I did a browse but couldn't find this other treats. Must be my english. Anyway seems that no workaround exist, so I'll send a file to Roy for him to chek it. All the files have the same problem and I've got thousands, so if I have to change the order for all them... my god¡¡

iTunes cannot convert protected WMA tracks. There may also be problems if it can't get full access permissions. What exactly are you trying to do when the error occurs?

TV Show Listings Last To First ?

When i view my tv shows in iTunes there like this
Episode 1
Episode 2
Episode 3
ect ect
But on my Appletv there listed like this
Episode 3
Episode 2
Episode 1
Why are they not listed like i have on iTunes as i have to scroll all the way down to watch the
start of the season of what ever show i have in appletv ?

Apple appear to have chosen to list TV shows in reverse order (by date for by date listings and by episode for by show listings), I assume they have done this to place the newest TV shows at the top of the list, as unlike itunes the tv can only show a handful of shows at once without scrolling.

Why are my audiobooks showing up in my iTunes but they are not showing up on my iPod nano?

So I downloaded an audiobook from an online source that is not from the iTunes store, but it is showing up in Books in the latest version of iTunes. I synced my iPod, and when I go into my Audiobooks in my iPod, it says that I don't have any. What is the problem? And how do I fix it?!?!

Have you double checked to make sure these Audiobooks are configured to sync to your iPod from under the iPod's Books configuration tab in iTunes?
To access this configuration tab, plug in your iPod and select it from under the Devices section in the left hand pane of iTunes to bring yourself to the iPod's Summary tab. Now locate the Books tab and select it. Here you can configure what and how audiobooks are synced to the device.
If you make any changes to this tab, make sure to hit the Apply button on in the lower right hand corner.

I have rented a movie in ITunes, however it does not show up in the movies on my ATV, but purchased movies do. What's up?

I have rented a movie through ITUNES, but it does not show up on my ATV movies menu as they have in the past in a category called rentals. In fact that category isn't shown. My purchased movies are showing up. What's up?

A number of people have reported similar issues recently, many appear to have found a discrepancy of some kind in their account settings and making changes to these settings or simply resetting them has resolved the matter.
Check your account details are correct, check that you are using the correct details for Location, Region and Time Zone. You may want to change these settings and then change them back to see if that helps.
You might also try logging out of and then back into your iTunes account (Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID’s > Sign Out) and restarting your router. (Some have reported that after doing this, they need to check for rentals even though it may report that there aren’t any, after which rentals once again appear in the ‘movies’ feature)
Rentals should appear under their own heading in the ‘Movies’ feature, you might also check at Settings > iTunes Store > Check For Rentals.

The podcasts that I have subscribed to via itunes have stopped downloading/syncing. I see new podcasts on the podcasts website but they are not listed on my list of itunes podcasts, nor do they show up when I sync to an iPod

yeah i plugged in my iphone to my computer and itunes does not even notice that i plugged it in.

Apple: Give me a way to stop TV downloads on iTunes, or I stop buying shows on my AppleTV. That simple. I'm tired of automatic downloads filling my hard drive every time I open iTunes on my laptop.

Tonight I had to go to iTunes to verify my payment info - even though I'd already done that two days ago - and before I can even access the iTunes Store, iTunes starts downloading 44 TV shows that I've purchased over the last few months on my AppleTV; before I could completely stop it, it had entirely filled up my hard drive - 180 GB. There's NO reason there isn't a way to stop auto-downloads of TV shows - every other type of media has the ability to stop auto-downloads, and given that I have an AppleTV (for now!), why in pasta's name would I want to load them onto my laptop?!

Don't panic. OS X 10.5.8 is the most popular PowerPC OS out there. People run it everyday without security breaches, including myself. It isn't Windows!

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.
In the Dialog box that comes up, choose Sound to AIFF, or one of the other sound options. This will create a file that you can drag into iTubes.

Itunes 11.1.3.8 shows a speaker icon in front of the seclection but it is not playing. the progress bar does not move. there are speakers attached to the system and all other programs do profuce an audio output.

Go to the Edit -> Preferences-> Playback
In The bottom section of the page click the drop down menu by Play Audio Using and select Windows Audio Session or something other than "Direct sound" or whatever it displays. Click Okay. This worked for me! I hope it works for you too!
