ITunes 8.2.1 won't reload, keep getting an error message

Earlier today I tried to upgrade to a newer version of iTunes. That failed. So now my iTunes won't open. I've tried to reinstall 8.2.1 and each time I receive a message that states there was an error while trying to install, please try again. Any suggestions?

I would try a complete uninstall of iTunes and all of the Plist files
Follow http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1224 all the way through and try the install again.

I am sorry, but the Windows OS is totally unfamiliar to me. I'm a Mac.
I did Goggle the issue and there are a number of support articles about this error message on the Internet. It seems to be a problem in your OS but like I said, I am not Windows knowledgeable at all.
You either have to reregister the Windows installer or reinstall it - if I am reading any of this correctly.

Attempt to restore your iOS device two more times. If the issue is still unresolved, the device may need service.
The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START/ALL PROGRAMS/Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL > Programs n Features / highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR,

I went to http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925 and did a complete removal and reinstallation of iTunes. You MUST follow the directions here exactly...it's more than just iTunes that must be removed, and it MUST be done in the order in which the support article says. I followed the exact instructions, and iTunes is back on my machine (no more C runtime error) and you do NOT lose your music...it's all in my library, as it was before.

Photoshop Elements 8.0 won't open, keep getting an Error message from windows

I am running Windows Vista on a toshiba laptop and I've owned the software for a little over a year now, everything was working quite fine the usual few crashes every once and a while. Though I had thought to myself oh well here it's time for some new photoshop brushes and fonts. So I went to sites such as Dafont.com and Deviantart.com to get brushes and fonts. Installed them all and tired to open up photoshop Elements afterwards and I kept getting an error message as shown in the picture.
Any help would be appericated, Also added information that may help, Yes I have tired removing the brushes out of the folder and running the program, and yes I have tried removing the fonts I installed. Neither worked. I also have not Restarted my laptop computer since I had installed that brushes/fonts.

Please try couple of probable solutions as mentioned below:
Solution 1:
1. Close Elements.
2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Editor.
3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.
Solution 2: In case any network printer is attached try to launch without network or printer uninstall or make different printer as default.
Solution 3: Try launching with anti-virus off or removing PSE from conflicting list.
Solution 4:
On the drive on which you have installed PSE,on my machine it is on C:
Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 10\Locales\<locale>\Plug-Ins\Import-Exportand you will find twain plug-in. Remove that plug-in from that location and copy it somewhere else.
Now launch PSE and check if it works.

I have two 2nd generation apple tv units. The second one I installed does everything fine, streams from my Mac, pulls down itunes store for trailers and logs on to itunes store, but when I try to buy or rent I get an error message that the unit needs to be authorized. As a result I can only see previews and cannot rent or buy anything.

FOr some now, my ATV 2 does not show in my devices list on iTunes. Now, as of today, I keep getting an error message when trying to rent a movie through iTunes that I need to contact iTunes support to complete the transaction. Also, the ATV 2 does not show on my MacBook Air iTunes app. The ATV 2 will stream netflix and play movie trailers so I know it's on my wireless network---but for some reason, I can't see it on my iTunes. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and what to do about it?

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

Install 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and use one of them to extract the contents of the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe installer file, then try installing AppleApplicationSupport.msi as a standalone component. Even if it won't install you may get a more useful error message as to why not.
